We stayed at Mường Hoa River View Homestay Tavan and had a generally pleasant experience. I would rate it an 8 out of 10. The Pros: • Concept & Nature: The natural design of the hotel is beautiful and fits perfectly with the surroundings. • Views: The view from the room is absolutely breathtaking. • Location: Very convenient if you are traveling by car. The Cons: • Service: The staff needs more training. One day our room wasn't cleaned at all, and they forgot to provide drinking water. • Heating: We stayed in the family room on the top floor during cold weather. The AC units struggled to heat the room properly. In this climate, dedicated heaters are a must for guest comfort. • Breakfast: Quite basic/simple, though understandable for a 2-star establishment. • Maintenance: Some parts of the property are starting to look a bit worn out (shabby) and need repair. Overall, it’s a lovely place with a soul. We would like to come back, but we hope the management improves the service and fixes the wear and tear by our next visit.
