I stayed for five nights in February for sightseeing in Bangkok. This hotel is a bit away from the city center, but it is close to BTS Saphan Taksin station and a bus stop, so it is not particularly inconvenient if you use the BTS and buses. It is also near the boat pier, so I used the boat service to go to the Grand Palace and Iconsiam. This hotel was renovated from a previous one and has now opened as a hotel and residence, and although the lobby is small, it is bright and clean. There is a service of tea and lemon water in front of the travel desk next to the entrance. It seems that coffee and cake can also be ordered in the lobby for about 60 baht. Breakfast is served on the second floor in a restaurant adjacent to the pool. There was also a gym. Although the variety of food was not vast, it was nice to have some diversity. The types of bread did not change much, but the daily petite cakes were delicious. The Thai specialty honey was also prepared in a large size. The noodle corner allows you to customize your noodles and ingredients, and you can also request egg dishes. I love fruits, and although the types were mostly the same every day, I enjoyed plenty of watermelon, pineapple, dragon fruit, mango, and more from the morning. The room was casual, with big windows making it bright and with a color scheme that I think women would like. I used it alone, but it is a slightly spacious room for two people, allowing for a comfortable stay. Amenities included toothbrushes, shower caps, soap, and cotton swabs. The drink corner has coffee, tea, and mineral water available. There is a capsule coffee machine, which can be ordered for a fee if you'd like to enjoy capsule coffee. The room features a king-size bed, TV, desk, sofa, luggage rack, security box, and weighing scale. There were also plenty of lights. The TV occasionally freezes, but it receives NHK's overseas broadcasts. The toilet had a comfortable warm water bidet. Although there is no closet, there is a place to hang clothes with hangers. The Daikin air conditioner allowed for precise temperature control, but despite the outdoor temperature being 36-37°C for several days, the room felt quite cold, so I think having a long-sleeved top would be good. It would also be nice if there were finer adjustments for the wind direction, etc. At the back of the shower room, there is a bathtub, which is slightly shallow, but I could stretch my legs in hot water. The water flow and temperature were satisfactory. Body soap, shampoo, and conditioner were provided. The refrigerator is functional but small, and looks toy-like. As expected, it did not make ice or cool effectively. There are 12 USB charging ports around the room, including near the desk and bed, so you just need to bring your cables; no chargers are needed. In terms of location, there is a Robinson department store in front of Saphan Taksin station, with a supermarket and food court in the basement and a McDonald's on the first floor. The area is surrounded by stalls, small shops, restaurants, and massage shops. Using the bus, it is also easy to reach Asiatique The Riverfront. The boat is convenient for going to Iconsiam. There are many bus routes in the city, so using the BiaBus app allowed me to navigate easily. The fare is around 15-20 baht even for air-conditioned buses. By using the bus effectively, it is possible to travel to areas around the Grand Palace or the city center without sweating. However, there seem to be no elevators at Saphan Taksin station, so if you have large or heavy luggage, it might be better to use a car like Grab. The neighboring Surasak station is also nearby, and there’s a larger 7-Eleven on the way, which looks convenient, but there was no crosswalk on the access route from the elevator exit to the hotel, making it somewhat difficult to use when carrying luggage. The back of the hotel has abandoned buildings and under-construction sites, resulting in a mixed streetscape, but there were many cars on the road even at night, so it wasn’t a lonely place. My room was on the tenth floor, so I didn't particularly mind the noise from the street traffic. On Saturday night, around 8 PM, fireworks were launched from three locations along the nearby river in staggered intervals. I believe they were launched from Iconsiam and Asiatique The Riverfront, and although the duration was only about five minutes, I could see them beautifully from the window of my room with almost no obstruction. I was lucky to witness the fireworks from this room. Towards Saphan Taksin station, there are several massage shops lined up between neighboring hotels
