Highly recommended accommodation overall. The location is great, right next to Chungmuro Station, which is next to Myeongdong Station. It's a 10-15 minute walk to Myeongdong Station and only 3 stops from Seoul Station. We stayed in a triple room for two people, and it was very spacious. We were able to communicate with the staff in English, so there were no communication issues. Even if you don't speak English well, they can still understand simple English, so there's no need to worry. They can lend you a transformer (plug adapter) if you ask, so you don't need to prepare one. Our room only had a shower without a bathtub, but it was fine for a few days of travel unless you're picky. They also provide daily cleaning, towel exchange, bed making, and 3 bottles of water. They have toothbrushes, razors, and hair dryers as well. There is a household-sized refrigerator and freezer. You can also use the free laundry and gym facilities. We were able to watch YouTube on the TV, so we enjoyed watching KPOP music videos and getting excited with friends. The only downside is that the rooms with windows facing the atrium have only basic blinds, so the room can be seen from the atrium. I had a room without a window, so privacy was not an issue for me. Also, when I went out into the hallway, I noticed that sound leakage was a problem. It's not a problem when you're inside the room, but you can hear conversations from other rooms clearly in the hallway. The sound of couples being intimate also leaked out. Overall, I think it was a cheap and very good accommodation.

The bathroom space is smaller than the room size, but overall it is sufficient. However, the luggage needs to be placed on the bed to be opened. It is convenient to take the subway or bus. If you don't want to go out on a rainy night, you can ask the front desk to order fried chicken or other takeout. The staff is super friendly and helped us to order using their own phone, and even let us choose the restaurant ourselves. This is the fourth time we have stayed here, and we will still consider it next time. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Myeong-dong, and it is only one subway stop away, which is really convenient!

We (Me and 2 friends) stayed in this hotel for the 1 week we were at Seoul. Our accomodation was the “Two Bedroom Deluxe”. It had a complete kitchen and washing machine/dryer which for the price of the accomodation is a nice plus! Although the bathroom looks outdated, the whole place was clean and homey. The location was 5-10 mins walk to Myeongdong which made the area more quiet compared to the accomodations actually located in Myeongdong - this I prefer. It’s also so close (3 mins walk) to the subway station and bus stops so it’s easy to get around to places. The location is also close to meeting points when you book day tours (Nami Island, DMZ tour etc). The one that stood out to me was the staff. They spoke good English, was very helpful, approachable and accomodating. They even agreed to store our extra luggage for us when we went to Busan & Jeju (1 week) because we were gonna re-check in to their hotel when we get back to Seoul. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends&family who plans to go to Seoul. Will also stay here again if we go back to Seoul in the future. Thank you Oriens Hotel Staff! :)

thank you so much for taking care of me and my family...for your great service....we arrived at the hotel few minutes past 12 midnight and the front desk was fast in checking us in and more so he also assisted us in ordering our dinner at midnight,he even offered his credit card and i paid him in cash so that i can order take out,i really appreciate what he did and also helping us with things we needed.i will stay again here since the location is so hassle free,very near train stations and buses but not crowded.i highlt recommend this hotel.and very clean and spacious rooms also with comfortable beds.

Oriens Hotel comes highly recommended. The rooms are clean, and room service is provided daily. They change the towels and replenish the water bottles every day, ensuring a comfortable stay. The availability of a flat iron, microwave, stove, and other kitchenette amenities is a definite plus. Additionally, the hotel's location is superb, being within walking distance of major tourist spots and destinations. Myeongdong shopping street, Lotte Department Store, N Seoul Tower, and various convenience stores are all nearby. Lastly, the staff at Oriens Hotel are exceptionally polite, accommodating, and helpful. They are patient in answering our questions and even booked rides for us whenever we needed them.
