Great hotel lovely staff”

We loved the panviman hotel. Rooms are beautiful and clean, restaurant is good, nice view, very kind and friendly staff. First we booked for two days because we weren't sure if the room and the resort look like on the pictures. It was better than photos. When we got there we book for another two days. We stayed in a deluxe cottage. Cottages are situated on the rocks separating the two beaches of Thong Nai Pan (Noi and Yai) and have a great view of the ocean and the Thong Nai Pan Yai (next beach). Bathroom has a big window and you can see the view from the bathtub and the shower. It's big, very comfortable, beautifully decorated, with a big private balcony (by the way there is a price list and you can buy any of the furnitures and items in the rooms). Then we go to Koh Samui but two days later decided to get back to Koh Phangan and stayed for two other days in Paviman. This time we got a superior hotel room. This one is small but clean and comfortable. Also has a nice bathroom and nice view with a terrace. (We got separate beds even though we booked for twin bed, but as the hotel was full and no other rooms available we didnt really care and stayed there) All the rooms have ocean view (from different angles and some have partly views) and balcony or terrace. They provide towels at the pool and at the beach. Stone Beach Restaurant is really good. Also breakfast is very good. Thong Nai Pan Noi beach has white and powdery sand, calm and relaxing beach. There is a small village with nice restaurants and few stores. You can use the taxi boats or simply walk to Thong Nai Pan Yai beach. It has also white and powdery sand. In Yai beach the water is much more shallow than Noi. You can go to Koh Samui directly from Noi beach with long tail boats. They stop at Than Sadet, Haad Thin and Haad Rin then go to Samui for 350 bahts per person. It takes less then 2 hours.

Stunning secluded luxurious hotel”

After coming from Koh Samui we were concerned that price is no indication of quality (as we stayed at a hotel in a similar price range in Koh Samui that was terrible) - however this was far from the case with Panviman. Starting with the arrival - everything is just pampering. You are picked up from the security booth and driven up the hill to the secluded resort - where you are greeted with a lovely refreshing drink and cool towels - and are given an explanation about the grounds, services, and your room. The room itself for the price range was simply stunning and comofortable. The room had a more than king-sized bed, with an entertainment system, lounging area, and even the bathroom had a shower and bathtub (that was huge!) The grounds themselves are beautiful - and there is a stunning view from basically every angle that overlooks the Thong Nai Pan Noi and Yai beaches. The services and amenities were exceptional quality, and the entire staff was very service oriented. I have special dietary needs - and they were very accommodating in this respect. Our only complaints are that for the price range (we paid about a night) - wifi should be provided (although there is free internet on their computers in the lobby), as well as more regular shuttles that are more reasonably priced to other parts of the island - as it is very very secluded and every excursion to other areas of Koh Phangan cost about Baht each way.

Beautiful Island Resort”

The Panviman Resort was a very nice resort on Thong Nai Pan Noi, a beautiful beach on Koh Phangan. I loved the pool and beach areas that it had. I went with my girlfriend in May and we had great weather. It seemed to be mostly couples at the resort, which was not crowded at all. The staff was very friendly. Also, it was a very good value, not expensive at all for what you get in return. Close to the resort was a small village, basically a collection of shops and restaurants. We went here for dinner every night, it had great variety and delicious food. We also loved the breakfast at the resort, it had a huge variety and the view from the restaurant was spectacular. This did not seem to be a family resort, as most of the guests were couples. There were a good amount of activities to do, such as swimming, snorkeling, taking day trips, renting scooters, kayaking, etc. We could have easily spent a week or two here without getting bored. The resort is somewhat difficult to get to, as you need to take a 3 hour ferry from the mainland followed by a 45 minute drive across the island. However, this seemed to help keep this area more secluded and less crowded than on other places on Koh Phangan. Other than that, this was a great place to stay.

Absolute luxury, loved every single thing about it”

I loved every single thing about Panviman Resort. We stayed here for one night only as a treat for our last night in Thailand and my only regret is not having the time to stay here for longer. For the price we got on Agoda the value for money was incredible. Photos and reviews does this resort no justice, the place is absolute paradise! Thong Nai Pan Noi is one of the most spectacular places on earth and Panviman makes the stay so special. Get one of the cottage rooms as it will be an experience you will never forget. Don't second guess your decision to stay here, you will not be disappointed! Heaven on earth!!

Great resort,location & village”

One of the best resorts we have stayed at in Thailand. We (the 2 of us)stayed for 5 nights and loved everything about The Panviman and the village of Thong Nai Pan Noi. Great beach, friendly local bars and restaurants. Service at Panviman is second to none. Wonderful pool and vistas. Nice beach area. We had a pool villa which was amazing comfortable with views. Though it is built on a steep hillside and has many stairs they operate their free of charge yuk tuk service within the resort and for a small fee will take you into the village. We walked everywhere no problem. I might also add a snorkel or scuba trip with the local business H2O is worth the time for some adventure. Both Panviman & h2o have staff that are multilingual with 3 or 4 languages spoken. The hotel tranfers from Ko Samui to the resort via Panviman's private speedboat is well worth the cost.

Enjoyed the privacy and solitude but hotels need guests”

We visited Panviman Resort in late September 2020. Thailand was still not open to tourists from overseas, and there were very few guests at the hotel. This meant that we had the swimming pool to ourselves when we wanted it, complete with stunning views over Thong Nai Pan Yai beach and bay, but it also meant that two of the three restaurants were closed, and other services were limited. The resort seems to be optimistic about the future, as they are using this enforced down time to expand, building a number of new rooms on the Thong Nai Pan Yai side. The other beach, Thong Nai Pan Noi, which is the only beach directly accessible, has a number of luxury and up market hotels, so there are good alternatives. The village street is also accessible from that beach, and there are a number of other restaurants there, in addition to massage and spa, PADI diving courses, motorbike rentals etc. The restaurant that was open, on the beach, was excellent, and we had a number of good meals there.

Great hotel with lots of nature!!!”

this hotel is located on the other side of the island - a 40 minute ride through the jungle, which already starts you off on an exciting vacation. pick up is free of charge provided by the amazing panviman staff. once you arrive, the check in is a quick process and you can unpack and explore. the hotel is located on higher grounds with great views. the pool is impressive. a short walk down some steps lets you arrive at thong nai pan noi beach (which is the better one as it has waves). the sand is clean and soft, the water clear and there's several restaurants along the beach. you can also walk into the very small village which has more restaurants and bars. i will make a special mentioning of "handsome buger" - very good! his mom makes the bread herself and it's delicious!!!! check out and free shuttle back to the pier are also well organized and soon you will find yourself missing this hotel and the vacation you had.

Wonderful honeymoon stay”

Hi everyone, Back on my home country (Chile), after my honemoon stay at Panviman, I wanted to take the proper time to congratule such an excellent hotel and staff. Me and my wife had an awesome time here. I will go through specific items so that all fellow traveleres can get benefited from this information. We highly recommend Panviman resort for a relaxed stay at Ko Phangan Location: the hotel is kind of "isolated" from the urban parts in Ko Phangan but this is just perfect if you're looking for a nice place to relax. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and we were given an upgrade to a Deluxe Cottage that was fantastic I must say. Also, there is a small village right next to the hotel wich is great for having food (please go to Rasta Baby restaurnt) or getting massages (at Bam Bam massage parlor). The hotel has a sort of private beach and theres another one which you can go by tuk tuk (the hotel has a tuk tuk with daily schedules for 100 BTH). The 2nd beach is much better, please go!!! (Crystal clear water, no waves at all) while the beach at the hotel is also great but the water is a bit more rough Rooms: our cottage was great, i Can't say anything about it. Perfect AC, perfect bathroom, everything top notch Staff: very kind at all times, everything was very well managed. When we arrived we were received from the manager with flower necklaces due to our honeymoon, we were informed about our free upgrade, and on our room we had some special decoration and cake! Food: we didn't try the restaurants at the hotel (We prefered to ate at the village becasue we found the prices a bit expensive), but the breakfast was ASTOUNDING. One of the best I've had ever, and oh my god the view... The view was by far the best I've had while having breakfast Miscellanous: please go to both beaches if you can. We also took a taxi outside the hotel to go to Full Moon party which was pretty entertaining Congratulions and keep up the good work!! If we ever return to Ko Phangan

Stunning hotel in gorgeous location”

We stayed for a week at the Panviman and had a thoroughly relaxing time. Situated on the spur of land between two stunning beaches, the location is fantastic. The view from the infinity pool cannot be beaten! Upon arrival we had a slight mix up with rooms, but that was rectified the next day. Problems with the air conditioning were also sorted immediately. Apart from that everything was excellent. The rooms were beautiful,spacious and well equipped with huge comfortable beds (and ours was only a standard room!). The resort is on mutiple levels so be prepared for lots of steps and hills, but the tiered pools and gardens are gorgeous. The restaurant staff in particular were super-friendly and the food excellent. Breakfast is truely a feast with a view and dinner on the beach is a treat. There is walking access to Tong Nai Pan Noi beach for different restaurant/bar options and a free shuttle bus to Tong Nai Pan Tai beach for cheaper options. Overall a wonderful experience place to chill out, relax and eat good food.

Fantastic place.”

I was traveling with my two sons, aged 8 and 9, and we had a fantastic stay at Panviman Resort.The sigth of my sons eyes when we first was presented with our bungalow was worth the trip itself. We rented a pool villa, and what a place, the bungalow was great,with a huge bathroom. The best thing about the bungalow, beside the private pool, was the view, it was just stunning. The Resorts pool area was great, with 5-6 smaler pools in different levels, like a waterfall, ending up in a huge mainpool with a fantastic view over the Thong Nai Pan Yai beach. The buffet brekfast was great, with lots of variety, eggs in any style, Thai pancakes, pastas, salats, different thai dishes. Fantastic view from the brekfast restaurant also. The staff was really lovely, very helpfull, and always with some nice comments to the kids.We just loved our stay at Panviman, and will for certain go back next year for a longer stay.

Panviman Resort Koh Phangan”

one of the most amazing hotels i've ever been to. the room was absolutely gorgeous, with an incomparable view of the thong nai pan bay from the balcony. the staff was extremely nice and helpful, the pool is an amazing location and restaurants serve very good food. to make long story short - don't think twice and spend your vacation in the panviman resort!

Gorgeous Views, Luxurious Pool... Ahhhh!!”

Panviman sits beautifully between Thong Nai Pan Yai and Thong Nai Pan Noi… one you can see from the gorgeous multilevel pool and the other you can access from the resort… making this an ideal location. It's also close to good restaurants like Luna Lounge and a quaint little Mexican joint just down the road (can't remember the name), with delicious Coconut Margaritas and hammocks to sip them from. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable, the staff very friendly. The included breakfast is a large buffet, but the food is just average, in my opinion. There are waterfalls, small plunge pools and a large pool all overlooking the ocean with gorgeous bay views that give Panviman a very luxurious, relaxing feel.

Excellent for everything.”

We arrived at the Koh Phangan jetty and rented a 4x4 car for about USD 40 per day. The resort does provide pickup service from the jetty (chargeable per person per way) but if you have more than 4 persons it is better to rent a 4x4 car. The distance from the jetty to the resort is quite far but the traffic and road condition is consider good except that you need to drive through a jungle track (quite a distance and it is advised to bring your GPS device together). Once we arrived at the resort, everything is wonderful, the room, the ocean view, the surroundings…etc. We just stay at the resort for 2 nights and would like to come back again. One of the best resort in Koh Phangan and highly recommended.

Great hotel in a gorgeous location”

Our room was clean and spacious with lovely furnishings and a private pool on our balcony overlooking the beach. The hotel is set up on a hill so there a lots of steps- not suitable for travelers with mobility problems. The beach is secluded and clean. There are a few other resorts in the same cove but mostly we felt that we had the beach to ourselves. The restaurant at the resort on the beach is good value and serves an excellent seafood BBQ! The staff were polite and happy to help with any request. Beware of the jet ski hire on the beach - a few travellers have had problems with the proprieter accusing them (falsely) of damaging the ski and getting the police involved. I suggest that travellers stay away from hiring anything that is not directly through the hotel. They don't have jet sk's but do offer kayaks and snorkellling gear. Also as the hotel is quite secluded, it is difficult to get to from the main ferry port's on koh phangan. Ask the hotel about organizing a speedboat transfer for approx 1500TB per person directly from koh samui - it's worth it!

Panviman 'Almost Paradise'”

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights on our honeymoon - we were initially only booked for 2. This was definitely one of our favourite resorts while in Thailand (we were there for a month). The location is set in a tropical paradise and the view is exceptional. The beaches were nice but we had a hard time leaving the pool area, and infinity pool! A must if you stay in Koh Phangan. Also, best deals are on Agoda. We got a cottage for less than a hotel room which is definitely a huge deal! OH, and did I mention they made us a cake for our honeymoon arrival!

Don't know what's best - The hotel or stuff ”

I came to the resort after I took it from the Agoda site and what a great welcome ! I enjoyed so much that I have decided to stay 5 more days . The stuff are always smiling and are attended to every request.The resort is just great and with a lot of green nature around it. The rooms are beautiful and with a view to the sea. They take care of recycling and even have an organic vegetable garden. They take care of little things and my stay here was outstanding . Cleaning service is perfect . WiFi working great . Rooms are huge and beautiful ...I really recommend this place . One of the best places I stayed at . If I am back in Koh Phangan I am defiantly coming back ! Great choice for solo travelers ,couples ,families or honeymoon..Loved every minute.

Treat yourself to a short stay”

Great staff at this lovely hotel resort. Sitting perched on the peninsula between twin beaches, Panviman shows the attention to detail that helps justify its price tag. Our room (510 – top right in the deluxe block…recommended because it has only one neighbour and keeps the sun on the balcony longer than the other rooms) had everything we could need and offered great views to the southeast, meaning that waking to the sunrise was a spectacular moment. The bathroom has a window to the living space and balcony so you can soak and take in the view at the same time. There are four bars/restaurants to choose from at different times of day and the pool area spreads up through well-maintained gardens, with the water running down through plunge-pools before hitting the main swimming area. Breakfast delivers fantastic coffee and a good selection of breads, fruits, juices and cooked fare. The bacon is tasty and the omelettes and crepes are made to order and worth a try. The resort was quiet while we stayed – possibly a sign of the recession – and we extended our stay by a night by grabbing an Agoda last-minute booking (which was a better rate then the hotel could offer itself). A meal on the beach is definitely worth it in the evenings – the live band are great – or if you walk into the village (5 minutes away) then you don’t need to go further that ‘Better Than Sex’ (great name for a restaurant) or just across the road for the rather wonderful ‘Luna’. Of the two I’d certainly go back to Luna in a snap. It’s a great vibe and the Lamb Mussamum is to die for. Slow-cooked and rich, it’s maybe more like a stew than a traditional curry, but somehow all the better for that! If you are leaving to go to anywhere reasonably nearby then it’s worth asking at the desk about a transfer. Their driver took us down the coast to Mai Pen Rai bungalows as a courtesy…but maybe that was because I re-wrote their English language welcome letter for them to fix some of the bigger grammatical howlers.

Great place to stay wth charm, can still get to fu”

We really enjoyed this place. We stayed here for 5 nights as part of our honeymoon. We found the hospitality excellent, the staff were happy to drive us up the hill to our room (which was quite a walk) and also into town. The rooms were cool and rustic with great views of the ocean. The breakfast buffet was the bext we tried. The little village at Thong Nai Pan Noi was fab and there are some great basic Thai restaurants out there. We used the hotel transfer to the full moon party and had the churrascaria which was truthfully one of the best meals we had (you get a bit over Thai after a month).

this was our first time.to Koh Phangan and Panviman resort is fantastic. the best staff i ever saw in my life. Nice food and not expensive. will definitely go there and highly recommended.

Excellent Resort”

My sister and I came to Thailand while backpacking. We decided to splurge when we got to Koh Phangan and book a nice resort. When arriving my sister was really sick from food poisoning she got in a different island. The staff was amazing and took us all the way to the best hospital on the island and waited there with us. She stayed in the hospital for 8 hours and they even brought me back to go pick her up at midnight. Every staff member knew she was ill and checked in on us everyday. They went over and beyond accommodating us and definitely did not treat us any different because we weren't a couple or family there. The location is very remote so you are secluded from partying. They have a beach at the resort which is nice with not a lot of noise.
