“Birthday in Singapore!”
we booked through Agoda, with some clarifications over email, since Park Avenue also had other apartments/buildings in Singapore, but had the same email. Had an extra- bed requested beforehand and paid onsite. The extra bed was big and super comfortable and came with pillows, blanket and covers. Its right beside a mall, where you have cafes and supermarket, about two nearby bus stations, and near fort canning subway Station. The room we got was a 2-bedroom suite, more than enough space for 5, has a kitchen, with a big refrigerator, a front load washing/drying machine, a dining area (table fits 5 comfortably) and a living room with a chair and sofa. Wifi is fast and free for staying guests. A bit of a downside is no available breakfast, but you can cook though since the kitchen is complete with utensils and equipment. Water per tap is apparently safe to drink, had hot and cold water, but they can give a few water bottles during your stay. Also had some basic toiletries. Two bedroom suite also has two bathrooms. Suggest to separate "do not disturb" and "make up room" hanging tabs. they thought we did not want to have the room cleaned, but we thought there was no housekeeping available as we are almost always out the whole day. Some of the front staff are very professional but need a bit more of refinement over the phone, maybe a softer, gentler tone on reminding the guests of checkout time. But we are thankful for free luggage storage since we did additional exploring around Singapore before heading out to Changi. Thank you Park Avenue, this is value for money especially for longer stays and bigger groups. Also from Park Avenue Clemenceau, its a walking distance to our planned dinner spot for a birthday celebration - Bistecca Singapore, one of the world's top 100 steakhouses -- really top notch food and service :)
