Loved this place.”
Pattara place has a relaxed apartment feeling to it all but runs like a hotel with a great reception and cleaners everyday to give your room a once over to keep the rooms fresh. room size is amazing for the price your paying, lots of storage space to pack your clothes away, bathroom size again is really good and you even have a little balcony if you wanted to get some fresh air. I would recommend Pattara place to most travellers heading to Chiang mai.

Great new hotel”
Pattara place is a new hotel, so new that none of our taxi drivers really new where it was. Once you find it though it's great! The hotel staff are lovely and the room was very clean and practical. You can organize day trips at the reception, lots of info and stuff there. Negative: it's a bit far from the city centre, the hotel staff will take you into town for 150baht and it's the same for a tuk tuk or taxi back. Plus: very affordable and great for the price, also some cheap places to eat close by!

Outstanding value for the money”
The value for the money is excellent at Pattara Place. The room was spotlessly clean, as well as the whole building, and there's daily maid service without having to ask for. The accomodation is definitely suitable for long term stays. It's fittet with a very comfortable and large bed, a fridge, a microwave oven, a very large TV, a kettle, a hairdryer, a small balcony and last but not least, a lot of storage space. The shower is separated from the rest of the bathroom by a glass panel to prevent the whole floor from getting wet. Hot water was actually really hot and AC worked fine. There's a 7-Eleven right across the street. However, there were two downsides: WiFi was not reliable, even though there were enough access points and the signal was strong. And the levers of the water taps are so annoying because they are more like knobs and it's actually not possible to turn them on when having soapy hands. If I stayed more than one month, I'd buy two by myself and exchange them, no joke.

Great place for great price ”
This may have been the nicest place I’ve stayed on my travels so far. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was great. I opted to not stay inside the city walls of Chang mai, which was good and bad... as far as this hotel, you won’t regret it. It would have been perfect if the police didn’t hassle so much about tourists on motorbikes. 200 THB bribes required multiple times a day even after buying the 500THB temp license. I don’t think I’ll be back to Chang Mai, but don’t let that be a poor reflection on this hotel. It’s more of a warning for tourists traveling there.

Lovely hotel and service ”
pattara place is a nice hotel beside a local university in a quite peaceful neighborhood with big room, nice furniture, nice view of the neighborhook on the balcony, and warm service with smile. the only problem is that it is a little bit not so easy to get to the old city.

Friendly, clean, not cheap, quiet hotel”
I like Pattara Place better than most comparable hotels, good location but not in the center of town, friendly staff, good rooms, good price, undercover parking, some English TV channels, good internet......nice.

Friendly staff, super good value”
This is by far the best value place on agoda to stay in Chiang Mai. Laundy service, bike rental all sorted very quickly. Staff bend over backwards to accomodate most requirements. The location is outside chiang mai, so you will need to tuk tuk/taxi or rent a scooter/bike for 200 baht.

Clean, comfortable, great value”
The rooms are modern, bright, and have a very large desk for working. Lots of storage in nice furniture. There are even drawers under the bed, excellent for a long-term stay. Large 'fridge, kettle, microwave, hair dryer, etc. The building is more of a serviced apartment style, so I was surprised to get daily maid service. Front desk staff was very helpful, and speaks English. Lots of parking for cars and bikes. The location is a short drive north of the old city, about 7 minutes depending on traffic, or a 15 minute walk to the moat. There is a large market with a number of noodle shops within walking distance, and a 7-11 across the street. There are a few coin washers on premises, but no dryer, and there is also a laundry service. If I have any complaint, it's that I can hear people in the atrium and the next room at times. All in all, a very nice place at a remarkable price.

Nice Hotel away from the hustle of old town”
A great hotel a short distance away from the noise of central Chiang Mai, a car, scooter or motorcycle makes it easier but Tuk Tuks or taxis are always available and inexpensive. Good sized rooms with all the amenities required. Will definitely be staying there again.

Pattara Place”
The only complaint about the Pattara Place is the wi-fi was very temperamental and it was frustrating to use.

Comfortable, clean, excellent for a long-term stay”
This is a new, impeccably maintained place that caters to long-term and mostly Thai guests, but they do have daily and foreign guests as well. There is more than the normal amount of storage space in closets and drawers, and plenty of desk space for working away from home. There is also a fairly large 'fridge, a microwave, and a hot water kettle. The front desk staff speaks English and are very helpful. There are 3 washing machines on premises, a 7/11 about 40 meters away, and a major day market with noodle shops about 10 minutes away on foot. It's about a 30 minute walk to the old city, though, so having a car or scooter is convenient - there is plenty of covered parking. Assuming you don't want to be in the middle of the tourist areas, this is a deal that can't be beat.

Our Chiang Mai Home”
Chiang Mai is our first stop in Thailand and we chose Pattara Place as our accommodation here. We had difficulty conversing with the staff as they speak minimal to zero English; which I highly suggest that they improve on as most of their customers are foreign. We found it very hard to ask for assistance, directions, etc. The room was clean and the staff are nice. Though, we also found the location a bit distant to the must-visit areas in Chiang Mai. Also, it's a bit difficult to hail a cab and/or tuktuk from the hotel. They provide taxi service but it's a bit prices; worst, the drivers do not speak English as well. Anyway, our dissatisfaction blois down to communication. I really hope they do something about it. :)

I am going back tomorrow”
Great, I did a one night test and it passed. I'm going back for 2 more nights test. I speak, read and write Thai and the hotel staff and I can discuss all. Great TV programs and Lan cable supplied by the manager allows me to stock trade in USA with my level 2 steamer. I ordered a high quiet room and gave a small tip for the benefit. They would have helped anyway. Hall noise could (but was not)have been a problem with their open atrium. Guests, room and staff were quiet and polite. I rent a motorcycle so location no problem. For once the Adobe maps worked out OK. New place and tuk tuks may not know it. It would be priceless if Agoda provided the address in the native language.

Budget accomodation with luxury feel”
This was probably the 5th time I have stayed at the Patarra Place and cant speak highly enough of it. Generously sized rooms with large flat screen TV and wifi with fridge and microwave and plenty of storage space. Your room is cleaned every day and bedding changed every 2 days. The staff on reception are just wonderful and so very helpful. I actually miss this place but needed more than a room as decided to stay long term up to a year. I cant reccomend highly enough and great location. 7-eleven across the road, super food stalls within 50 m and Tesco Lotus under 5 mins and super highway in 4.
