Highly Recommend Pearl Lane”
We stayed at Pearl Lane Hotel for a brief stop in Manila during our trip. We chose the hotel because it located in Malate and a quick walk to the LRT. We found this extremely easy to get around the city. As well, Robinson's Mall is just a short walk down the street, you can literally see it from the hotel's front step. The rooms were large and nicely furnished. We loved the king size bed as we haven't seen many of these in Asia! The room had almost every amenity we could want. One of the other major contributing factors to us staying in the hotel was the free WIFI- however, we found the signal wasn't strong when the door to the room was shut. We ended up changing rooms to get a better signal but definitely weren't the only people in the hotel with this problem- a European group in the lobby was complaining of the same thing. I give full credit to the hotel as they helped us test signals in different rooms with a smile on their face the whole time! They were apologetic and very accomodating- especially the bellman/housekeeper. Two thumbs up for fantastic service!!!!!

A Pearl Indeed”
i enjoyed my stay at pearl lane hotel because the staff were friendly, diligent, and honest. the breakfast buffet was filling, they had an egg/omelette station, selection of filipino and western cuisine, along with coffee and tea offered to your table by the very friendly waiting staff. the location of the hotel is within walking distance of robinsons mall, the pan pacific hotel, and hyatt casino. the hotel is also in malate which is a bit on the 'rougher' side of manila, but was ok for us because we did not venture out on the streets late at night. savvy travels shouldn't really venture out on foot late at night anyway. taxis are always available from the guard outside the hotel and i always felt safe at the hotel. the rooms were comfortable and were big enough for three adults (i traveled with my parents (64 and 65) and they had a lot of luggage, and we were still comfortable in our deluxe twin room (two queen size beds). we all agreed that if we were in manila, we would stay here again, as it's very close to manila bay, within a 20-30 minute drive to the mall of asia, and within 40-50 minutes of the airport.

A Notch Above”
In comparison with other hotels within the surrounding area and price ranges the Pear Lane Hotel was definitely one to remember. I have traveled to the Malate, Manila area a few times, and this hotel is exactly what I was looking for. What I was looking for.... 1. Price- When booking online I managed to come across this hotel. The rates were the same or much better than many other hotels in the area. 2. Amenities - While I am not too mindful of most amenities, there are a few in particular I look for. Smoking/Non-Smoking Rooms, newer refridgerator, soft bed, standing shower, good air conditioning, and water pressure. The Pearl Lane Hotel is the ONLY hotel I have stayed at (6 other hotels in the same price range) that manages to provide all of what I was looking for. Friendly Staff - Self-Explanatory Complimentary Breakfast - Numerous options of food to chose from in a fantastic setting. All in all I will be making the Pearl Lane Hotel my

super budget hotel with great services”
i have to say this hotel is very good , believe me you will never regret choosing this hotel , everyone knew thier roles and give thier best service.to make our stay comfy and safe . hotel location to airport by meter approx. 150peso ,the only thing is u hv to bear with the aircon in the room which is alittle noisy , other than that everything is good especially the free breakfast on the 5th floor with nice servings of drinks n food. taxi in malate area plenty but taxi drivers always try thier luck to con u......which is bad , all the malls n attractions are pretty close by ...taxi fees by meter rarely hits above 200pesos.....pearl lane hotel locations is bar/massage streets. lots of restaurants from koreans , japanese , chinese etc.....night falls the nearby streets is very happening ..it is not to safe if u wander the streets after 2am....so , happy tour in malate phillipines....mabuhay.....

Surprising lovely”
For those who know Malate, it is a dangerous place if you don't know your bearings. The Pearl Lane Hotel was a nice change, having stayed in the area before. Not only were the stay helpful, the room itself was very big. The best part was the free wifi, which was a godsend considering that I needed to connect with friends and ran out of credit on my phone. The free breakfast is a great feature for any hungover guest, while the rooftop restaurant offers spectacular views. It is only 1 block from Robinsons Mall, a P120 taxi fare to Mall of Asia/Greenbelt/Airport and 3 blocks from Manila Bay (perfect for a romantic sunset).

Great place if you prefer staying in or out”
This is my 3rd time booking Pearl Lane. That said, I have always liked them except for the dirty surroundings which is Malate. Compared to Makati, Malate is basically Manila that has not really been developed. Pearl Lane though has a very friendly staff, there is free breakfast 6am to 10am and the beds are very comfortable. I had a bad room though, the shower door was leaking out water towards the toilet area rendering it totally flooded every time we had to shower. The housekeeping takes care of this but it is just really annoying and a hassle. Why didn't they fix it? 2 years ago this hotel was in better condition. Anyway overall if it wasn't for the shower I have no complaints.

Comfortable place to lay your head.”
Pearl Lane Hotel I've stayed at this hotel about a dozen times due to the following reasons: It is a comfortably quiet hotel with friendly staff and located in a great area for shopping 9Robinsons Place is right up the street). It is very accessible to transportation resources whether you need a taxi, LRT (Light Rail Transport -Train) or watercraft to cruise the Manila Bay or visit Corregidor. The price is right and extremely competitive with similar hotels in the area. It is associated with The Pearl Garden Hotel (sister hotel)but at a more economical cost.

Pearl Lane Review”
The Pearl Lane Hotel is great for a quick stop-over in Manila. Located in Malate, it is within a five minute walk of Robinson Mall and also not far from the US Embassy. If you are budget minded and are concerned with cleanliness...this is the perfect hotel to stay at in Manila. I would highly recommed this cute little hotel. You won't be disappointed.

Great location in the heart of Malate, Manila”
This sister property of the Pearl Garden hotel is a favourite for short stay in Manila. Conveniently located just 1 block from Robinsson's Mall and in the heart of Malate, the staff are happy to see you. The service is fast - check-in, breakfast and check-out all were a breeze. You'll find the upgrading your room to a deluxe - will give you more space - if not so much difference in the amenities - standard room basically without a view. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and I've already recommended it to friends and family who've had a good stay there as well.

lovely hotel at a great location!”
the hotel staff were very attentive and quick to requests. room was fairly spacious with a king-sized bed and sofa (we got a deluxe king room) and bathroom has complete amenities (less the tub) that you would not expect at a 2-3 star hotel. breakfast has good choices and variety (we stayed for 3d/2n). the area was quite peaceful and quiet despite being next door to a college school building. definitely, i would go back to pearl lane hotel!

Nice budget hotel”
I stayed 2 nights in Manila. Pearl Lane Hotel is cheap budget hotel, but it has all I expect for small hotel. Comfortable room, friendly staff, and good location. You know, it's not 5 star hotel, room is tiny and I can't see night view of the city, but it's cheap and clean enough for the price. Not a bad choice.

Malate gem”
The Pearl Lane is a 2 star property and so you should set your expectations accordingly. What you do get is great value for money. Nice friendly staff. Strong wifi and a great location near restaurants and bars in Malate. Upgrade gives you a really large room and its a consistently good experience. Will be staying here again.

Definitely Recommended”
I have no reservations at all in recommending the Pearl Lane Hotel. The room we stayed in was well kept and clean. The roof-top restaurant and breakfast buffet very good. The location, a very short walk from Robinson's Place Manila convenient. And, most of all the excellent service by the staff at all levels.

Would use it again”
Pearl Lane hotel is in a good location in Malate, less than five minutes from Robinson's Mall and surrounded by good places to go for food and drinking. The room was larger than I had expected for this price, and the standard of cleanliness was more than satisfactory. Breakfast was acceptable, though nothing amazing. I only have two criticisms. Firstly, the shower leaked all all over the bathroom floor, and the water never drained, therfore requiring us to mop the floor with a towel after every shower. Very minor in the grand scheme of things though. Secondly, despite ordering an extra bed when booking, it seems that an extra bed doesn't also equal an extra towel. When we tried to get clean towels after a day or so, the third towel was only available at an extra (admittedly very small) charge. This seemed a little unreasonable given the fact we paid quite a substantial extra amount for a third bed. However, in general I was very satisfied with this hotel, and would not hesitate to stay there again on a future trip to Manila.

Hidden gem in the middle of Malate”
Shabby exterior doesn't prepare you for a lovely hotel experience inside. Rooms were top notch, extremely comfortable. Staff provided excellent and highly professional service. Even the buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Choices were limited but quality was very high by local standards. Can't beat the location, just a couple of blocks from the front entrance to Robinson's Mall. Surroundings not quite as seedy as the typical Malate girlie bar theme. Light rail is very walkable, even in Manila climate. Price is fair. Highly recommended.

A pleasant place to stay”
Taking a Yellow airport metered taxi to the hotel was a breeze. It was our first time in Manila and the staff was pleasant and friendly, even at our 1am check in time. We only stayed there for 5 hours as we had to fly out at 7am. If you want to check out the area you can easily take a taxi to the Mall of Asia or Manila Bay. The room was very clean and modern although the shower leaked all over the bathroom when in use. The aircon also was in an odd place as it blew directly over the bed all night. The hotel provided two complimentary bottles of water which was nice and the mini bar wasn’t expensive. Breakfast was served on their top floor open air restaurant that has a tropical theme and a view that overlooked the area. The breakfast meal was very nice although the complimentary breakfast included only one glass of orange juice per person but coffee refills were regular. All the staff from check in, to the restaurant, to housekeeping was pleasant and happy to meet and they always had a smile on their face. I would recommend this hotel for anyone. The price, service and location are great and I’d visit this hotel again when staying in Manila.
