Although a little way out of town, about 15/20 minutes gentle walk, we feel that we had value for money. Breakfast was more than adequate, our unit was clean , hard bed but comfortable...could do with some cushions for the seats both in our room and the eating areas. Staff have limited English but we got by. Very handy for the bus station, virtually opposite, a bonus after a bumpy ride up from LP, no need for a transfer. The walk into town is a delight with lots to see, and the river views are great from the communal areas, and from our room(1) .Evening food looked fine although we didn't eat any preferring to eat in town. Also quiet apart from the usual dawn chorus of roosters....need a torch for walking back when dark, street lighting is limited.

Lovely location right on the river,but a good walk into town for restaurants or travel shops. We were the only people staying at the Resort and felt staff were not too bothered that we had arrived. There was no reception area to leave keys or ask advice etc, so consequently on one of the day's our room wasn't cleaned because they couldn't access the room ! Apparently a master key not available. This was no big deal really, but just illustrates a lack of empathy by the staff for providing guests with what comfort the superb Resort location deserve.

“OK place but expensive for what you get.”
Nice setting but a bit from from the main town, few food choices. Staff were a bit unfriendly which is very unusual in Laos. Food ok but nothing special. Would not stay again unless no other options.
