Pratunam hotels & places to stay

Very pleasant stay. We had booked a room in the Sky Zone but due to over-booking were upgraded to the top Space Zone, on the 67th Floor. Room was excellent, very large, very comfortable beds plus all the usual fridge, flat screen TV, safe etc. L-shaped room, one part was a dining area with a glass dining-table and 4 chairs, another area with a large sofa and armchair. Excellent large bathroom with high pressure large shower. And of course the highlight, the magnificent views over Bangkok through an approx 10metre floor to ceiling window. Our room was on the North side so overlooked more residential areas rather than the downtown available on the South side, but we were happy with that. Décor was somewhat dated but not a problem, still looked clean and comfortable. Location was just about as good as you can get in Bangkok being within easy walking distance of Central World, Siam Paragon, Siam Square, MBK, Gaysorn, Pratunam clothing district plus Panthip Plaza IT Mall. Bit crowded but if you want to shop, you can't beat the Baiyoke Sky Hotel! Unless you have heavy bags, it is also within walking distance of the new Airport Link Makasan City Terminal. Also easy walking distance to other Skytrain Stations. Staff were friendly and efficient. They even, without my asking, arranged for a cake and some fruit to be sent to our room for my wife as it was her birthday. Breakfast was in the Baiyoke Sky restaurant on the 78th Floor so great views with breakfast. One of the best breakfast buffet selections I have ever had with dishes from Thailand, Japan, China, India, Europe and the US so plenty of choice. Quality of the food though was not so brilliant but perfectly acceptable. Same with the same restaurant at their evening buffet, great selection, though food not brilliant, but acceptable. However the Stella Palace Restaurant on the 79th Floor was brilliant, food excellent, well worth trying.

My family of 6 adults and a 3-year old toddler had the best 3 nights in Bangkok, all thanks to Glow Pratunam Hotel. Everything was excellent and we enjoy it very much despite being in the middle of Bangkok Shutdown and protest. We've booked two rooms - our request for connecting room was fulfilled. Drop an email right after booking and their reply came right after it. Fast and effective service. Twin Deluxe and King Deluxe together. The room is spacious even with 2 extra beds! Room is clean with comfortable beds. Bathroom also roomy and spotless. PROS - Location! Very near to the Platinum Fashion Mall and Pratunam Market. Also, seven floors below the hotel is a shopping haven with reasonable and cheap bargains, the Shibuya 19. - There's two 7-11 nearby and a family mart (closed when we were there, maybe due to shutdown) - Bathrobes and slippers provided. The carpet-less floor is quite chilly especially when you woke up in the morning. - Iron and ironing board is also available upon request and was sent to our room few minutes after the call to housekeeping. - Daily complimentary bottled water according to number of occupants. - Bathroom amenities includes toothbrush & toothpaste, cotton buds and other usual items such as shower foam, shampoo and hand wash (smells nice too). - Staff are always pleasant and very generous with smiles. - Muslim Traveller: Food is not an issue, there are 3 halal stalls (Indian, Middle East & Thai cuisine) located at Shibuya 19 Food Court, level 6. Along the road, there are also several halal Indian restaurants available. There also 2 more halal stalls at Platinum Food Mall. CONS - Quite far to BTS station. Around 10 min walk. But easy to hail a cab in front of the hotel and the cab (metre) fare is cheap too. - The hotel lobby is at level 7, so you need to take a lift from Shibuya 19 and another lift to your room. No comment on breakfast as we did not opt for it.

I choose bangkok for my birthday trip destination just to have an experience the life style, the vibe and shopping since this is my first time to bangkok. I went there with my best friend. I reached Akara hotel very early around 12 in the afternoon and is too early for check in. However the staffs are very friendly and polite, he ask us to have a seat and he took our passport to assist on the check in process. Another staff serve us the welcome drink. The process went smoothly and im not waited for so long at the lobby. A gentleman (staff) bring us to our room and i was shocked and touched with the birthday decoration. Special thanks to my bestie and the hotel team to surprise me with the memorable experience... before he left the room,he’s invited us to have a complimentary high tea at level 2 and did mention “treat this please like your 2nd home” Few minutes later, another staff (Moni)knock the door to inform us that the food is ready, we can come down for the high tea and wishing us for a pleasant stay. We went down about an hour later, while choosing the food, A staff by the name “Moni” he was so friendly and very polite, checking with the team to ensure that i wont take the food that contain pork since im wearing hijab. They are very helpful. Overall, The ambience, the smell of the hotel, the hotel interior, the staffs, the room that i stay, the excellent service make me feel like im stay in 7 stars hotel. Stayed here for 3 days with premier double room booked. The room was good - with hot and cold shower, hair dryer, complimentary water and coffee, personal refrigerator. No in-room safe as they have centralized safe boxes at the reception. No electric kettle as well, instead they have water dispenser on every floor. Note it is required to deposit ฿1000 for every room booked. What I liked about this hotel is it's proximity to shopping district - Pratunam. Hotel is walking distance to Platinum Fashion Mall, Pantip Pratunam. About 15-20 mins walk to nearest BTS station. If I return to Bangkok, will booked with hotel again.

Our family were staying at Centrepoint Pratunam Hotel last week from 19/03/14 Wednesday to 22/03/14 Saturday. It was our parents 30th wedding anniversary, we had a great time in the hotel. From the very first day, when Ms Khuanjai greeted us all with a friendly smile, the service she provided was first class. Ms Khuanjai showed total dedication and commitment to her duties and treated everyone to the same high standard of service. She truly is a credit to the hotel and she fully epitomizes what 5 star service is all about. We appreciate her tremendous efforts in making our holiday with centrepoint pratunam so enjoyable. We hope to return again in the not too distant future. We'll definately recommend this hotel to our relatives and friends. Thumbs up to the staff of Centrepoint Pratunam!

I have stayed almost all the hotel in pratunam area. Novotel is still the best in term of location and breakfast. Bed is comfortable, pillow is too high i get stiff neck. There's an empty fridge, no drinks or snack, only a box of condom. we stayed there for 3 nights, 1 day we use the hand towel, 2nd day the used hand towel was removed and clean 1 left behind during housekeeping. 2nd day we used the hand towel and 3rd day it was removed n didnt replace any. so we have no hand towel from 3rd day onwards. The shower was either too hot or too cold even we adjust slightly. i only use the free tuk tuk 1s on a sat. i was alone, and was asked to wait for more guest to use the tuk tuk b4 they will set off. it took me more den 45mins to reach siam paragon, bcos traffic was heavy.

The Grand Diamond Pratunam Hotel, Bangkok is good and cheap place to stay in Bangkok. The Grand Diamond Pratunam Hotel has the great location, on Petchburi Road, nearby BTS Skytrain. You can really walk to the main shopping areas of Siam Square. The Grand Diamond Pratunam Hotel designed Diamond cut shape pf building feature 4 wings that allow every room to be located on a corner, my room also then I can see city view from my room. The rooms of the Grand Diamond are really big as its a service apartment and not a hotel. I had a full kitchen, living room and bedroom and all was clean and comfortable. Not amazing but it was all good. And, the size of the room you could probably stay in there with several people together.The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good too.

I traveled with group of 5 people inclusive of parents and grandmother. The staffs are very helpful in terms of checking in and out. They were so kind to assist in arranging transport to airport. Location definitely is strategic as it's located in the center of busy Pratunam area. The room provided complete amenities and feeling comfortable for staying there for 3 nights. Cleanliness of the room and the entire hotel ambience is excellent, with only minor comment about the water in the toilet was too small. We will definitely come back to this hotel during our next visit. Big thanks and credit to the Front Office staff name Giant as well as his team to provide us such an amazing and great hospitality throughout our stay in Bangkok! This hotel known as the best budget hotel in Pratunam area but they gave you more than a budget hotel does! Excellent work to the team and keep up the good work.

Have saw the Good Reviews for this SPENZA 3-star Hotel, although it's a 3-Star rating, however, Location is Great! 10-15 mins walking distance to Pratunam area. Breakfast menu changed daily and would't feel bored. Room is clean. Upon our late check-in during the 1st Day of Lunar New Year, Glad that we were served by a staff named TIKKY, he is Friendly and Provided Excellent Service to our needs. Overall, we were having a Pleasant and Great Stay in this Excellent Hotel! Thanks to all staff :) Would Highly Recommended!

Very clean hotel, nice staff, Very Good location for family vacation, near pratunam market, near Platinum Mall (the best fashion mall in Bangkok), many food center, ATM, SevenEleven shop around the hotel, some indian vegetarian restaurant near the hotel too (very delicious). This is the best budget hotel in pratunam area. Minus point: No parking area, you have to walk 10 minutes from the main street if you want to go outside pratunam area. But walking to the main street very very enjoyable :)

After reading some reviews on here, I was nervous about committing to such a long stay at this hotel based on the food reviews and what some consider 4 stars, outdated rooms etc. I want to tell everyone this is a great hotel with friendly people to serve you. I have stayed at 4 Pratunam hotels in 7 trips to Bangkok; they all have little change to their Western style breakfast. The Asian style changed daily on a three or four day cycle and small changes to the western style daily on the same cycles. The rooms are large and the beds comfortable. Outdated? yes, but clean and comfortable. Maybe a bit over rated as a 4 star hotel until they finish upgrading, but we were very pleased with our stay there. Excellent value and location in the heart of the garment district.

baiyoke suite hotel is definitely one of the best hotels i've ever stayed in. it is centrally located in the heart of downtown bangkok. excellent locality , clean rooms , delicious american buffet breakfast with spectacular view of the city, which starts about 05:00 am till 09:45 am, staff is very friendly and helpful specially their bell captains. it is only a short distance to bangkok's famous siam square entertainment and shopping area, silom central business district, embassies, and major tourist attractions. at your doorstep is the exotic pratunam market with local delights at great bargains and platinum shopping mall is hardly 10 minutes walk from the hotel. public transport is easily available from the doorstep of hotel. also, it is not far from phaya thai bts station which also connects the bts with airport rail link. i strongly recommend this hotel to other travellers.

cmunwai 3 Pending review Above expectations with some drawbacks Booked a normal Deluxe room for 2 nights, overall it's above expectations considering the price paid. The good: 1. It's in a quiet area of Pratunam, walkable to the main Petchaburi road with a 7-11 and some streetfood/drinks stalls. Check out the fried chicken stall, it's pretty good and cheap. 2. The hotel is new, nice design, spacious for both the room and bathroom. Amenities in the room is pretty good. Bed is large and sufficiently comfortable. 3. Facilities in the hotel is pretty good, with a complimentary tuk tuk service to certain areas, pretty good there. 4. Staff service is good, you treat them well, they also respond positively, very good there. 5. Breakfast was above expectations, I thought it might be a crappy buffet with poor selection, but there was actually an egg station, noodle station and good selection (for a boutique hotel, don't compare with a 5-star hotel), worth paying the extra for breakfast, unless

I have stayed in this hotel many times. the last I stayed was in Jan 2015 and the rooms are getting kinda old. But when I returned again in May, the rooms were renovated! brand new look! The new room is modern and comfortable, although the lights might be a little too dim for make-up but I am not complaining at all! my friend accidentally left her phone and some money behind in the room during check out and the house keeper actually returned it to us! very honest staff! well done! this goes to show how safe this hotel is! best hotel in pratunam!

- Hotel renovation is quite new and creates a comfortable atmosphere. - Breakfast is healthy with a good variety of fruits. Excellent to eat more fruits to prevent getting sick in Bangkok's hot weather. - Facilities are impressive - Eastin has the customer experience interactive system - i.e. customers can surf net using the keyboard and TV in the room. Location is less than ideal - it's about 15-20min walk from Pratunam Centre and Platinum Fashion Mall. Would have been better if it were nearer to these two shopping malls. However by cab it's only 10min to MBK and Pratunam area. Cab in Bangkok is metered and cheap. Would come back to Eastin again if it costs the same. Otherwise would want to try other good hotels too.

The location is nice, very near King Power Duty Free and Victory Monument BTS (around 600m) which is convenient to go everywhere. The surrounding area is peaceful (opposite a park), unlike the busy Pratunam market area; and when you go out of the soi (lane) there are a lot of shops (coffee shops, restaurants, street food and 7/11 store), . The staffs are friendly, especially the front office guy who helped us with our luggages. The room is comfortable and clean, not so big but I don't think it's a problem; however the hotel doesn't provide toothbrush and toothpaste (this is quite weird because almost all hotels have this) so remember to bring your own. The pool is quite small but nice. Quite good overall.

A mere few minutes' walk to Phetchaburi Road, along which you will find the most well-known shopping centres in the Pratunam area - Platinum, Palladium, Pantip - and, of course, Pratunam Market. There is even a golf-buggy-type-vehicle service on a pre-arranged route to drop guests along the main roads should they require it. There are eating places in the roads surrounding the Hotel, as well as 7-Eleven's and any number of street hawkers, though the little road along which the hotel itself resides is generally clear of people and traffic (there are residences opposite the hotel and the road is well-lit), making it peaceful at night. The price for such a convenient location? Perfectly reasonable. The lobby and exterior of the hotel is well-designed and will appeal to the serial Instagrammer. The room itself is large and comfortable. However, there is a slight pooling problem in the shower stall, so it remains wet for some time, though the staff dry it when they make the room up.

The hotel is located just besides Baiyoke Sky Hotel, you'll need to walk into an alley but there's signage outside so no worries. Stayed here for 5 nights and the room is very big, bigger than other 3* Hotels in Pratunam. Pratunam Market is just outside the hotel with lots of food & convenience stores available. Just a short 8 mins walk to Airport Link. The staff are very friendly, housekeeping lady is sweet and does a good job! The only bad thing was the water pressure. Worth the price though! Will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends! :)

If you are a discerning traveler that wants a modern and clean room at an affordable price in the BEST location...this is it. For a three star hotel, it's an elegant and classy place in the midst of a crowed, hustling shopping district. I have traveled to Bangkok countless times. You won't find a better deal in this area. For the location, size of the room (30 sq.m.), and great customer service, this place is a great deal- a GEM in a busy, crowded shopping district. Here's the KC Place details: -Incredible location. It is 5 minutes away from Ratchaprop Airport link, Pratunam night market, Pallidium, Platinum Mall, etc. -A clean and moderately spacious room that offers you a 30 sq.m. with wood and Thai decor. 30 sq.m. is considered generous for Bangkok hotels. Most 5 star hotels rooms are 30 sq.m. -Great front desk staff that speak good English and who are friendly, patient, and professional with picky customers. A SPECIAL thanks to Chris, the Filipino at the front desk, who in my opinion, is the heartbeat of KC Place and sets the tone for friendliness and kindness. -Very helpful support staff like the housekeeping and Cafe staff in KC Tower 2. We appreciated Mr. Chu, the male staff, who carried our bags ( he will carry it up the flight of stairs for you) and went above and beyond to help our large group and our family during our stay. -Yes, the bathroom is small but I think it was purposely designed that way to give customers a larger sleeping area. If you have traveled to Europe or France and stayed at the hotels there, you will know that everything is small, so it was not a big deal for us. -Yes, you have to carry your luggage up a small flight of stair to get to the elevator/lift, but someone will help you with this. - If you want bigger without the hassle of the short flight of stairs, book at a 4/5 star hotel around the corner and pay double to triple the price...Seriously, for $30-$40 dollars a night, what do you expect? The best is its hygiene. Even they change our towels daily. What would be a better experience than stepping into a freshly cleaned room with a very refreshing smell after a long and tiring day strolling around the city? The twin bed are also large enough that 2 persons can sleep on the one bed comfortably. Location is excellent as it's just outside Phraya Thai BTS station (2 stops from Siam). I found staying here is better than in Pratunam as Pratunam is very crowded and doesn't have nearby BTS station, which means you need to take a cab to go to other places. FYI Anajak is just 15 mins walk away from Pratunam. Nearby there's a 24hr 7Eleven and lots of cafes although they mostly close before midnight. There's also a great massage place outside the hotel. Breakfast is ok, choices are a bit limited but enough and they do change menus every day. What's lacking? ironing board and small table to put your luggage. Extremely value for money. Definitely will stay again !!

Hotel is conveniently located near the shopping malls- platinum, pratunam. hotel is also surrounded by shopping markets, and road side food stalls. However, not near the BTS hence going to other areas would require one to walk quite a distance to the nearest BTS. Taxis and Tuktuks are cheap though. Hotel is extremely new hence no complaints about cleanliness. Has a hotel spa which only opens next month. v good breakfast from 7-10am. room service serves pretty good food at a reasonable price for people who like to laze around.

The hotel is good location and very near if walking from the main road. The front desk staff is very friendly and help. Once we arrive and leaving the hotel he will help us to carry the luggages. And the staff will explain to us what things can use and cannot use in the room. One floor only 5 rooms, so we will not feel too much people and noisy. Although the hotel at Pratunam noisy street and our room face to the street but we won't feel noisy. I booked a King size bed but when I checked in the room and found is a king + single bed, we felt quite satisfy and happy. Overall are satisfy , just one thing the toilet wash-hand basin and water heater too high and incovenience to use for me.

I would say this hotel was underrated, I would give them 9/10. It wasn't like those of the low-rated reviews told here. Following is my personal view: - The location is on the prime road, very easy access (formerly Metro Fashion Mall) - Price is the best deal, even better than those dirty hotels in the alley of pratunam - Hotel standard is about 3-4 stars, room is very clean, design and look is okay - The customer service is very good, from the bellboy, the reception so and so. The only one concern is: the noise, as many people said, the room is not sound proof, I could hear people walking pass the room, talking when passing by, open/close the door. But it is an OKAY, since we stay in ground floor room, next to the entrance path, where everyone have to walk pass. If the hotel could make the room door more fitted (less gap to the frame and floor), it could have been better noiseproof.
