To the Management Team, I have been a loyal member of Agoda booking platform for many years, and I rarely feel the need to write a formal review. However, after reflecting on my recent stay for over a week, I feel it is important to share my experience. I arrived with high expectations, but unfortunately, several aspects of the service fell short. 1. Poor Bellman Service and Accessibility Issues I arrived at the hotel at 9:00 PM on February 14th, travelling from Bangkok to Pattaya with a 15kg suitcase. As I am currently recovering from a mild stroke, I was physically reliant on assistance. The bellman at the taxi drop-off refused to help me carry my luggage to the lobby. Instead, he told me to leave my bag unattended at the passenger pickup point because the hotel guest rooms are spread across different buildings, and he didn't want to carry it up the stairs to the lobby only to carry it back down later. When I expressed that I was uncomfortable leaving my luggage alone at that hour, he ignored me and walked back to his station, leaving me to struggle with my bags up the stairs. There are no escalators at the entrance, which is a difficult design for any guest, let alone someone with health recovery needs. This lack of assistance continued during my checkout on February 17th; despite two bellmen being at their station, no one offered to help me carry my bags down to my transport. 2. Pool Maintenance One of the primary reasons I chose this hotel was the swimming pool. However, when I went to swim on the morning of February 16th around 9:00 AM, the water was filled with floating leaves and flowers. It was disappointing to see the pool had not been cleaned for the morning guests. 3. Room Issues (Building 1) While I appreciated the free upgrade to a larger room upon arrival, the experience was dampened by a persistent, intermittent noise—similar to water rushing through pipes—that occurred 3–4 times every night. I requested a room change, but was told the hotel was full due to the Chinese New Year festival. A technician was sent to the room, but he spent his time on the balcony "fixing" the air conditioning motor, which was not the source of the noise. The sound from the internal central system continued throughout my stay, disrupting my rest. The Positive: On a final note, I must commend your reception staff. They were consistently helpful, friendly, and always greeted me with a smile. They are a credit to your team. I hope you take this feedback seriously, particularly regarding the training of your bellmen and the accessibility of your entrance, to ensure future guests—especially those with physical limitations—feel supported and safe.
