Pet's Paradise”
The pet room has a special basket for pets, which contains various supplies for pets, such as shower gel, snacks, meal preparation packages, and diapers. The hotel is very thoughtful! The pet bed is comfortable and well-ventilated. My dog likes it very much. There is also a mattress on top, which is warmer. There is a pet park where you can take your pet for a walk, with facilities specifically for pets. The staff are very friendly and you can ask them to drive you anywhere in the park. You can also make a reservation to take your dog on a boat trip on the river. There are two departures in the morning and three in the afternoon. Remember to make a reservation in advance. It is recommended to buy honeycomb cakes as souvenirs, they are delicious. The breakfast is abundant, but the only small drawback is that pets cannot enjoy breakfast together, which is a pity.

For this price, you can stay at a large resort of this level, and the hotel staff's service, eloquence, and demeanor are all well-trained and natural. Overall, it is very cost-effective! As for the negative reviews online, I think they exaggerate the small flaws too much. Personally, I think those flaws are not significant, otherwise the resort's repeat customer rate would not be high. Therefore, I highly recommend it!

Beautifully maintained grounds. And also great views over the Hualien mountains. Nice breakfast (tip, ask for a table upstairs if downstairs is a little crowded. Not everyone realises that the restaurant has a 2nd floor). Relaxing despite very high occupancy. Great location to experience the scenary around Hualien. However, not close to the city center if that it a priority.

Pros: The rooms were nice and spacious, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pools were fun and the lifeguards were very diligent in doing their jobs. My young daughter enjoyedswimming, the free boat rides along the lagoon and watching the fish. There is also an indoor playroom for the kids to escape the outside heat. Neutral: the buffet food is mediocre and it's really the only choice for food. It wasn't bad though so I wouldn't call it a con. Cons: All other advertised facilities were dated or not well-maintained. The lakeside bar looks thrown together haphazardly just to say they have a bar. The activities are not well planned. All in all, it's OK for a one night stay if you have young children. But it is in no way a 5-star resort.

5-Taiwan Star Hotel ”
Yes, 5-Star Hotel for Taiwan, but for the International Level overrated. Stuff in Taiwan is not really trained, like in hotels ior example in Europe. First room was dirty with hair from previous guests in bathroom, but they were fast in transferring us to another room, which was a bit better. Again, this is Taiwan. Originally wanted to go to Bali. 5-Stars there are well deserved.
