Our stay at Pulai Springs Resort from 17–20 December was truly enjoyable.
We booked a 3-bedroom suite for our family of six, with two teenagers and two younger children.
We arrived at around 12.30pm and were warmly greeted by Mr Raj at the lobby, who kindly assisted us with our luggage. As our room was not ready yet, we took the opportunity to explore the resort. There is a small convenience shop selling swimwear, snacks, and basic necessities—limited in variety but helpful for last-minute needs. There is also a spa located at the lobby.
The sports centre, located just across the lobby, offers a pool/billiards table, an indoor playground, and additional swimming pools. There are also two pools at the main hotel area. Our older boys enjoyed playing pool (chargeable at RM5.10 per game), while our younger children had fun at the indoor playground (about RM10+ per hour).
At 3pm, we returned to the reception for check-in, which was smooth and hassle-free. Once again, Mr Raj assisted us with our luggage and informed us that we had been given a special room. When we entered the suite, we were absolutely amazed—it came with direct pool access!
The suite was very spacious, featuring a comfortable living room with a sofa, coffee table, and a large TV. There was also a kitchenette with a round 4-seater dining table, sink, electric kettle, cups, and a fridge. The master bedroom had a built-in wardrobe and an attached bathroom, while the other two bedrooms shared a common bathroom.
Our kids were overjoyed as there was direct pool access from the living room balcony, the master bedroom, and one of the other bedrooms. The suite was generally clean. As the resort has been around for many years, some of the wooden furniture does look aged—but that adds to its charm, as quality wood lasts a long time. The sofa, however, was new and comfortable.
If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the bed. It was rather firm and not very fluffy. A thicker or plusher mattress topper would greatly improve comfort. That said, each person was provided with two fluffy pillows, which was a nice touch.
Over the next three mornings, we had breakfast at the restaurant. While the spread was not extensive, the food was good. The chefs were attentive and ensured that dishes were replenished, and the wait staff promptly cleared used plates.
We initially planned to try the BBQ buffet on Friday night, but skipped it due to a late lunch. We’ll definitely return to try it next time.
Check-out was quick and efficient. Overall, it was a well-spent 3 nights with family, and we will definitely return. Hopefully, the beds will be upgraded to be fluffier and more comfortable in the future.

“ Unexpected Room Cleaning Without Permission”
The place at Paulai Resort is nice, peaceful, and comfortable. However, I had a disappointing experience regarding room privacy and housekeeping service.
When I went outside for a while, someone entered and cleaned my room even though I did not request any room makeup service. I called the reception to ask about it, and the staff told me that as long as the “Do Not Disturb (DND)” sign is not placed on the door, they will clean the room whether guests want it or not.
What confused me was when I asked about the purpose of the “Make Up Room” signage if housekeeping would still enter anyway, and I was told that it basically doesn’t matter unless the DND sign is used.
I believe guests’ privacy and preferences should be respected more clearly. The resort itself is good, but this experience made me uncomfortable.

“Nice place for family”
I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-maintained everything was.
The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed—comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, and a great view. Housekeeping did a wonderful job each day, keeping everything spotless.
I also enjoyed the on-site facilities, especially the [restaurant/pool/gym—customize as needed]. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and was always fresh and delicious.
The location was perfect—convenient to local attractions and easy to get around. I felt safe and well taken care of throughout my stay.
Overall, I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable hotel experience!

“Old school resort ambience”
We traveled as a family of 9 and enjoyed our stay at Cinta Ayu (Pulai Springs Resort) very much. The only elderly in our group benefitted from the hot spring tub which alleviated their achy joints.
Our older children managed to snap some IG-worthy photos, and had their fill of tom yum pasta from the in-house restaurant. The younger ones benefited immensely from the brightly-lit and very clean indoor playground.
Housekeeping at the resort was very friendly and polite, and accommodated our requests for additional towels and toiletries with warmth and professionalism.
Overall, we had so much fun exploring the swimming pools, and hot spring at Pulai Springs Resort during our time there. Will definitely be back with the extended family when the opportunity arises.
Kudos to all staff at the resort for making our stay such a delightful one!

“3 bedroom suite”
Our stay at Pulai Springs Resort from 17–20 December was truly enjoyable. We booked a 3-bedroom suite for our family of six, with two teenagers and two younger children. We arrived at around 12.30pm and were warmly greeted by Mr Raj at the lobby, who kindly assisted us with our luggage. As our room was not ready yet, we took the opportunity to explore the resort. There is a small convenience shop selling swimwear, snacks, and basic necessities—limited in variety but helpful for last-minute needs. There is also a spa located at the lobby. The sports centre, located just across the lobby, offers a pool/billiards table, an indoor playground, and additional swimming pools. There are also two pools at the main hotel area. Our older boys enjoyed playing pool (chargeable at RM5.10 per game), while our younger children had fun at the indoor playground (about RM10+ per hour). At 3pm, we returned to the reception for check-in, which was smooth and hassle-free. Once again, Mr Raj assisted us with our luggage and informed us that we had been given a special room. When we entered the suite, we were absolutely amazed—it came with direct pool access! The suite was very spacious, featuring a comfortable living room with a sofa, coffee table, and a large TV. There was also a kitchenette with a round 4-seater dining table, sink, electric kettle, cups, and a fridge. The master bedroom had a built-in wardrobe and an attached bathroom, while the other two bedrooms shared a common bathroom. Our kids were overjoyed as there was direct pool access from the living room balcony, the master bedroom, and one of the other bedrooms. The suite was generally clean. As the resort has been around for many years, some of the wooden furniture does look aged—but that adds to its charm, as quality wood lasts a long time. The sofa, however, was new and comfortable. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the bed. It was rather firm and not very fluffy. A thicker or plusher mattress topper would greatly improve comfort. That said, each person was provided with two fluffy pillows, which was a nice touch. Over the next three mornings, we had breakfast at the restaurant. While the spread was not extensive, the food was good. The chefs were attentive and ensured that dishes were replenished, and the wait staff promptly cleared used plates. We initially planned to try the BBQ buffet on Friday night, but skipped it due to a late lunch. We’ll definitely return to try it next time. Check-out was quick and efficient. Overall, it was a well-spent 3 nights with family, and we will definitely return. Hopefully, the beds will be upgraded to be fluffier and more comfortable in the future.
