"Pulai Springs certainly did not disappoint. From the great food taste, to amazing pool views. Yes, there are alot of reviews complaining of it being dated, old fashioned, etc.. but there is a certain character to it that modern day buildings just cannot live up to. It is in great condition despite its age! I do especially have one particular area that I would like to bring up - the hospitality. Man! The employees at Pulai Spring Resort are probably the nicest people I have met during my travels! They were accommodating, friendly with massive smiles, and simply lovely! The hotel is only as good as the staff that work there. And there are some very awesome people that work there! From the people at the guard house all the way to the waitresses at the restaurant. 2 thumbs up! I will definitely return to Pulai Springs when I visit Johor in the future :) "

"I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel. It was a last minute decision since it wasn't part of the hotel list provided by the conference. I was hesitant since it looked far from from the main strip. It was a short 10min. walk under tree shaded sidewalks. The hotel doesn't have dining options but beside or just across from it are delicious and cheap restaurants. If you want to get real Malaysian food, these are the places to go to. The room itself was spacious and large. The shower/bathroom was really nice. Maybe the only downsides are that the windows are not that sound-proof when closed. A tree outside was a bird roost and it did become noisy. It didn't bother me but it might others."
