“It became the best summer vacation.”
I stayed for two nights from August 11 to 13, coming from Japan. At first, I was considering a brand new high-rise hotel along My Khe Beach because it offered an ocean view. But I'm truly, truly glad I chose this place. Japanese people will definitely get a more desired resort south of Pulmandanan. I thought it might be more convenient in the city, but My Khe Beach is just packed with people from honking, noise, and the numerous hotels in the area. There are way more people than I expected, and it’s all about shouting “Banh Mi! Banh Mi!!” with megaphones. At night, the neon lights sparkle, and I felt a bit of insecurity. It has a lively atmosphere with lots of partying and multi-national charm, feeling like a bustling Asian district! It’s far from calm and certainly not a place to walk with children. The clientele at this hotel is much more serene, and there’s a rotary, making it safe for getting in and out of cars. The private beach is truly wonderful! You can’t experience the same thing at nearby My Khe Beach's zone. The pool is very pleasant, and breakfast was incredibly delicious! The front desk service was excellent, and they accept JCB cards. The exchange rates were very good, matching market prices. The K-Mart in front of the hotel has many items that can be given as souvenirs. Kelvin at the front desk always showed concern for my son, who had six stitches from an accident in Hoi An, and he would chat with us whenever we went out with Grab. He shared this information with other staff at the front desk, and when we checked out, a girl at the front desk asked with translation software, "Is your son’s leg okay?" It was very kind and heartwarming. The hotel itself may not be the latest, but the cleanliness was exceptional. In the morning, they watered the grass, and the pool was cleaned by multiple people starting from 5:30 AM. A citrus juice at the hotel beach costs around 400 yen, and mojitos are roughly 700 yen. Please enjoy the beach cocktails! As for the room, I feel that the superior ones closer to the beach or the lower floors might be better even. The clientele is calm, so there’s no loud noise from the pool—everyone enjoys their time quietly. There’s even a soccer goal on the beach, and watching the sunrise at 5:30 AM is amazing. It faces east! The location is also fantastic, and you can get to local foods near Danang Airport for about 500 yen via Grab. I think going too far south from here would be a bit of a hassle, so the position is just right. I wish I could say more, but I feel like I haven't said enough. It was a wonderful hotel! The only complaint I had was that there were no changing adapters for smartphone lightning cables, which was inconvenient. I lost one in the city and only had a type-C cable, so I wanted to borrow an adapter or cable to switch it to lightning, but they didn’t have it. There were no sales for it either. Please consider adding cable rentals!
