My new favourite place!”
I originally booked to stay at Rainbow house for 5 nights, and ended up staying as long as I could! (8 nights). I loved being in the standard bungalow with shared bathroom, it had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. My favourite part was the incredible sounds of nature at night, so relaxing and truly felt at peace. I also loved the superior bungalow with private bathroom for 3 nights, it was very spacious with a large bed and high ceilings. Once again, everything I needed. The fan was more than enough in both rooms (I rarely used them) and also the beds were super comfy in both too! Also, the little pond and hammocks in the garden were an amazing extra touch. The hosts were so friendly and made me feel welcome, and the location was perfect - easy to walk to town but just enough out to have that really rural feel. I can’t wait to return on my next visit to Pai!

Beautiful quiet place. The husband & wife who own this place are welcoming. Great location close to night walking market. There is no fridge in our room although there is a fridge on site where you can buy cheap priced water/ drinks.

Peaceful setting but near popular spots in Pai”
A basic cottage in a lovely sprawling garden, with a bamboo bridge, hungry catfishes, swinging hammocks in the shade and cute little lovebirds / cockatoos kept as pets. Located just a 10-minute walk from the bus station (if you know the shortcut - which is when you're walking from the houses, cross the bridge and take your first right), you will encounter a nearby 7-11, a short trek up the road to Paradise Bar (for the fireshows) and the Walking Street. The facilities are basic but fits well for a short stay. If you're looking for luxuries like high-pressure, hot showers and toilets with a flush, and no creatures from nature, you should better look someplace else. There was a huge line of big, black ants that hike by my sink every morning, but they never ever invaded my personal effects. Leave them be, and they leave you be - but if you're squeamish about bugs, stay away. Overall, I liked the location, the owners were nice and spoke decent English, and offers you a free cup of coffee and some bananas in the morning. Would stay again!

True Country Experience in the City”
Just steps outside of city center, but feels a world away. You can hear the crickets at night and roosters in the morning. Bananas are growing wild just outside the huts. Facilities were basic but good. Owners and staff very friendly and helpful. We had some difficulty with our bike rental and we received ready help. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to return.

walking distance to towncenter. we had the bigger concrete bungalow. big room. nice veranda for your morning coffe. away from the noisy partycrowd. this place is good for a short stay in pai. the town itself has nothing for me. just hundreds of young farang on motorbikes and the common tourist walkingstreet.

We enjoyed our stay here, host was so welcoming and kind and offered us free coffee every morning as well as fruit that he grew. There are bug nets on the windows but there’s a gap under the front door so we did have a few bugs and a little lizard in the house. Also not a flushing toilet, it’s a basic one where you put water into the toilet with a scoop to flush. The grounds are beautiful though and would 100% recommend.

Don't expect glamour at Rainbow House, but you can expect beautiful views, a friendly welcome and a very quaint feel. It's a 15 minute walk from the centre of Pai which is great if you don't have a bike or scooter. There are fantastic places to eat really close by and super easy to get around. The shared bathroom was a little different to use when you needed to get up in the night as it's a shed outside - - but if you don't mind geckos and the noise of the crickets you'll be fine. It's cheap and cheerful here and it's amazing value for money.

Its out of city center, but such a nice area and we really wanted the quiet as I can imagine it is loud till late in the center! Only 10 mins walk from most bars etc.. Very friendly family. We had such a great time we ended up staying 3 extra nights.
