Beautiful hotel with lovely large airy rooms - we had a beautiful view of the tower with laser lights which we really enjoyed. Free bottles of mineral water daily, tea/coffee facilities, good quality room amenities replenished daily. Room was always well maintained and clean when we returned at night. Hotel forex excellent as rate was better than the bank rates. My husband has already decided that we will return to the Ramada Pearl on our next business visit. He loved the hotel and the large bedrooms. Restaurant prices were a bit on the expensive side. Plenty of taxis available for the guests. A good experience overall.

Not quite top end...but nice...”
We chose this hotel because we needed to be near the river and the parks and galleries on the island. The Ramada pearl was perfect for that. We made two separate bookings for two different classes of room and they kindly upgraded us for the first night so we didn't have to switch room after the first night. Good. The restaurants were closed (a bit earlier than advertised) so we asked the bellboy...he showed us to a great little Italian on the next block. Very good. I would stay there again for sure and the Italian restaurant was a Godsend! We were therefore on the top floor overlooking the river and the island and the GZ tower...spectacular and lovely to see so many trees in GZ. BBC and CNN on the box...and free wifi on the exec floor...decent pools. Beds a touch hard but comfortable enough.

One of the best values for money in Guangzhou. I stayed in this hotel for four nights enjoying magnificent fireworks and night lights of the stadium and the towers. You will enjoy it too if you are lucky to get Eastward looking room. Like everywhere, there are some points for improvement, but they are minor and I'm not mentioning them

One of the prime examples of the Ramada international hotels in Guangzhou. Everything was 5-star from facilities to food to service. The staffs english wasnt perfect but you will find in general China hasnt perfected this, although it wasnt anything to frustrate a patient person.

I stayed 4 nights at this hotel, although the location is not very nice yet, taxis are available and you can easily reach every place in town, hotel staff are very helpful, hotel offer open buffet at dinner with is packed with high quality delicious Chinese & western food. If I came again to Guangzhou, I will sure stay at the same hotel.

i like the place for it high stabdard service at it resturants and we spend most time there meeting clients and suppliers.the location of hotel is very suitable for us to vist the old parts of guangzhou city and also trade centres for canton fait without jams. it take oly twenty-five mintues for us to travel from hotel to airport.

The hotel is located in a nice and quite area and overlooking the pearl revier in addition to the Canton Tower, yet its far distance to the famous Beijing Road for shopping and other site seening. The hotel staff are very nice and can speak good English. The hotel is in a very good condition and the room was nice and clean. Ideal for people not looking for busy areas and if they want to stay away from shopping areas.

ok hotel. location is about a 10 minute walk to the mrt/subway. rooms are a little dated but very clean and comfortable. strangely the room were cold and i couldn't adjust the temperature, and i read this issue in other reviews. check out the spa within the hotel! not many westerners went into it but don't let that scare you away. think it was under rmb to use the spa facilities which includes jacuzzi, shower, sauna, and lounge room which has all you can eat! took me a while to figure out, but you can order what ever you want off the menu and it's included in the price of the spa. much cheaper than the room service or hotel restaurant.

Guangzhou Stay 2 nights”
I stayed in Ramada for 2 nights in a leisure short break. Plus: location - near metro station Wuyangtun (line 5). Has couple of nice coffee shops nearby (Grainy Bakery & Cafe where I bought breakfast, as it was not included in my booking ) and quick Chinese food with good price. For Indian food lovers, Little Papa is also very close. Swimming Pool was nice way to spend time in the hot hours of the Day. Need to wear a hair cap (they sell it for 20 RMB). Many buses on the nearest avenue (252 bus will take you to Xiaozhou Village). The hotel lobby and corridor had a light smokey smell, but definitely the room was OK. I asked for a non smoking room, but still found an Ashtray in there. overall appreciated the stay and staff was quite Helpful. I will consider returning to this hotel in my next trip.

Had a Very nice stay at the hotel during the Canton fair this April.... Staff was very helpful and polite ( which you don't see at most hotels in Guangzhou )... !!! The rooms were nice and spacious and Lobby was nice - Overall with a location - this hotel seems like a good find at a reasonable price !

As it was a business trip the Ramada Pearl was close to the Convention therefor it was very convenient. Bus shuttle service and registration service was available for the customers which was helpful.

Pleasant Stay”
The hotel was easy to get to from Guanzhou East train Station where we arrived form HK. The staff was very courteous and helpful and offered the option to upgrade to a Suite as the apartment we had requested was only available on the smoking floor. The best thing about the hotel is the staff-- Many spoke good english,were pleasant and took initiative to recommending places to visit and arrange taxis etc. Room service was prompt and the lunch in the cafe was very good. The room interiors felt a little aged and dull.
