Amazing service and facility ”
We were greeted by very enthusiastic staff from the hotel the moment our car got close to the door. There were staff members taking care of our car, our luggage, our check-in - they even apologize profusely for the “delay” even though we felt like everything was just according to plan. Despite being a pretty old hotel in Taipei, the facility does not feel old at all. I look forward to being back again!

Excellent service with good offer to upgrade the room”
I was travelling with my family including 2 children, 5 & 8 respectively in mid January, 2020. We stayed at Regent for the 1st night and checked out the other day heading to Beitou. We were so lucky to meet Mr. VJ Yu (Guest Relations service officer) and he had done us a BIG favorite to upgrade our room to a junior suite without charges considering we were travelling with 2 kids. And, when we returned from Beitou to Taipei, which was the 3rd and 4th night at Regent. Miracle happened, Mr. VJ Yu was just at the front desk to serve us again. This time, he gave me another offer (I won't tell you the amount but I can reassure you that was so reasonable) to upgrade our room from balcony room to CORNER SUITE! Besides all the room upgrade, Mr. VJ is such a friendly, cheerful and helpful individual that I would love to give him a big medal! Plus all the other responsive staffs, I will definitely stay at Regent next time when I go to Taipei.

While I checked in, I realized that the room I booked was not big enough to actually accommodate 5 of us (picture of the twin beds look like double bed), so the check in lady suggest us to upgrade and she can ask her manager to give us discount. Chris Chen is very nice and explain the package to us in details. I ended up using the cruise package that they can give us all you can eat buffet access at 5th floor when we upgrade. Even let us go take a look first and then decide. With young children, this is really good. Never thought Regent is so kids friendly. The breakfast was great also. I would recommend to anyone who travels to Taipei or simply want to have a get away from home stay.

It is amazing, and I can't wait to go back. Its got EVERYTHING within the hotel. Hungry? 5+ places to eat plus an amazing buffet Need to shop for name brand? Just walk down the stairs to their mini private shopping centre filled with name brand items! Need a little Sweet? So many cakes and french desserts for you to try. Amazing, truly and a great deal. Came here to celebrate her birthday with my girl, and we had a wonderful experience. Not knowing the hotel prepared cake for the trip, we were genuinely surprised. Everything is nearly perfect. I would rate this place a 9.5/10. Highly recommand this amazing 5-star hotel.
