Alabama State hotels & accommodations
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling solo, with children or pets. Rooms are big and clean, free breakfast, indoor pool. Right next to a gas station that has a Subway and McDonalds connected which made it super convenient. If you’re looking for a place to stay near Muscle Shoals or Florence that won’t break the bank, this is it!
The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The only thing I did not like about the hotel was that my room was accessed from outside. It seems they took an older hotel and retro fit it in the room style of Best Western Plus. But the old outside door and air system was there. The breakfast was better than any I have ever had at a hotel. The man working the breakfast ...
This hotel is fantastic, very clean, right on the beach, great pool (heated) and hot tub! Staff was very friendly and efficient. Room was quiet, beds were comfortable, A/C was cold. I will definitely be staying here again!
My girlfriend and I stayed at Tutwiler, which is a historic hotel located in downtown Birmingham. The room was spacious, clean and very relaxing. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. In the evening the front desk has homemade chocolate chip and sugar cookies - which are highly addictive and really good Highly recommend staying at the Tutwiler if you are loo...
Really nice staff members, well kept, room very clean, everything a person needs is here. Quiet location back from the highway, so road noise not a factor. Have stayed in Gadsden quite a few times before and this the best. Will definitely stay here again.
Not Fancy but clean and good bed. have breakfast at Waffle House
You have a staff here that is totally focused on making the stay of your guests easy, fun and comfortable. From check in to check out, our stay was wonderful. All of the staff were cordial and friendly, even when incredibly busy AND dealing with the remodel. We will be back. Thank you.
ok so i know you cant expect much when getting a two-star. But working lights and plugs would be nice, not even the alarm clock worked, and the sliding door to balcony was open. We asked for a different room and they changed us very quickly. The customer service was better than most two stars i have been in. The room had a distinct smell of cig/smoke but was faint,...
It is a nice decent hotel with cool employees. The front desk clerk has a sense of humor and was entertaining as he checked me in. The cleaning ladies were really sweet as I passed by them. My room was one with a double bed. It was nice and decent for the price, but I ended up having a few issues. Nothing major that will hinder another stay for me, but now I know to br...
Great Place. Probably worth the standard rate but nothing in Tuscaloosa should be over $300.00 / night. Gotta love game day.
They were in the process of remodeling, dust was everywhere fire doors were open, the hot tub had old green looking water left in it. Should be ok when it’s completed. Hotel did not take our pre paid reservation from Agoda. Agoda will not return our calls for our refund, had to contact our credit card to try to get our money back.
Great breakfast, friendly staff, and awesome location!
I had asked for first floor and non smoking room however when checking in there were no first floor rooms left and being no elevator was difficult to access room. The room was no smoking.
We can always depend on Hampton Inn to provide clean facililities with comfy beds. Wish it was a bit less expensive.
The hotel room was very clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The water got SUPER hot, which is a huge plus for me. I didn't use the pool, but I walked by a few times, and it looked clean and well maintained. All the staff were very friendly. They have a waffle-making station at breakfast that's pretty great-- I'm sold on anything that includes whipped cream...
place is nice but the only problem I had to ask for my room to be clean I was there for three night the manager said he would seen use 5000 point never received them.
We found the hotel pleasant, the happy hour a good idea for guests to get together and the front desk staff were just lovely. Thank you.
The staff were not friendly or helpful on trying to resolve the air conditioner not working and did not offer us a discount for sleeping in a hot room and we only stay at Hampton inns when we stay in hotels but I think we will never stay in Hampton inn again because of how poor this one was in staff and facilities.
Our room was not very clean. The beds had not been made and after calling for someone for 2 hours no one had shown up to fix them. The bathroom counters looked as if they had not been wiped down. The room had two 32 inch TVs and it smelled funny. We checked out after 2 hours .
The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The pool and facilities were a bonus. The staff was very friendly and they had the best continental breakfast
What a gem of a hotel. We were late in reaching the town and many choices, but this one stood out , it wasnt the cheapest but was well worth that bit extra , so much we decided a 2nd night would be ideal . The receptionist (Debbie) was fabulous , efficient , helpful, (she could give training in how customer service should be). The room was huge, breakfast hearty and t...
Bathroom fixtures somewhat dated but clean and working. Good value
We was very pleased with our accommodations and service and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. We would recommend this to our family and friends.
Cheated me out of my money
I was in Dothan for a bicycling event. The hot buffet breakfast made the Clarion experience all worth it. It was a 101 mile ride & breakfast is so important. I will be back next year.
Excellent hotel in excellent location! Friendly, helpful staff, will keep Comfort Inn in mind next time we're in this area!
Brent was super nice and professional, breakfast- eggs and sausage were cold
Awesome staff. Let me check in early. Good biscuits and sausage gravy breakfast. Good value. Nice location. Very safe. Clean room. Bed very firm but comfortable.
The room above us had a mother with 3 young children and late at night we could hear jumping which was constant until around 1:30 am.
While the Baymont is a no frills type of property, I definitely got more than I paid for. The location is quiet, the room was clean and they even offer an expanded continental breakfast in the morning. This is a small detail, but it was a big one for me. Their AC units inside the room have a “constant fan” option. If you sleep with a ceiling fan or some type of wh...
Cheap places to stay in Alabama State
Great location, managed by professional people, very neat and clean, round the clock coffee, good breakfast. All together a five star experience for a motel.
Clean hotel. We've stayed here several times. Only suggestion I have is for you to either request a room close to the front of the hotel or either park in the front and walk to your room (what we decided to do) because there was a window busted out of a car near our room. It's very secluded in the back. Troy does not have a lot of crime and this could happen at any hot...
My stay here was very nice and pleasant. They room was clean every day and the bathroom was stock with the necessary items.
Too nasty for me I couldn’t even stay for 2 hours I was scared to touch anything Waste if time and money
Some of the front desk staff dont confirm information with other guests before reaching out to the rooms and woke me up out my sleep about a phone charger & for someone I didn't even know had me feeling like it was a set up & that was completely unsafe.
Hotel was conveniently located, rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Would stay here again.
Rooms were very clean and staff was great. Very limited breakfast buffet but other than that it was all very good. Very good location also. convenient to everything
My husband and I have stayed at many hotels and motels from Connecticut to Alabama and beyond. This by far has been the best stay we have ever had any where, even at the casinos that we have stayed at!!!!! We would recommend this place to anybody and everybody!!!!! Thank you for a Great anniversary stay!!!!
This hotel was extremely run down. The rooms were disgusting the stairwells were disgusting the outside of the building was disgusting. I wish there was a way to give it - 10 Stars. We found drugs in the room. Dirt all over the carpet and walls and the carpet had not even been vacuumed. There was one towel however we wouldn't have took of shower because the shower was ...
Everything was as expected, but the bed felt like i was sleeping on a board.
ok so i know you cant expect much when getting a two-star. But working lights and plugs would be nice, not even the alarm clock worked, and the sliding door to balcony was open. We asked for a different room and they changed us very quickly. The customer service was better than most two stars i have been in. The room had a distinct smell of cig/smoke but was faint,...
Cold breakfast, biscuits and all. took everything back to hotel room and warmed it in microwave. Warm refrigerator, kept everything we brought in ice chest packed on ice because the refrigerator even when turned up to highest point was warm. Strange reception desk. Individual who checked us in WAS NOT individual(s) I had been occasionally calling and speaking wit...
Enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn as we visited our Uncle and Aunt. Great stay and nice new pool. Wonderful time.
I love the proximity of the property, it is conveniently located to all that you may need. I was very disappointed with the smell of the room upon entering it, the remote was not working properly; thanks to the manager for coming to promptly fix the situation. Still, I would recommend this place.
I made a reservation with them online and they didn't save my reservation. The guest I reserved for showed up that night, and they couldn't find her in the system. They had an open room, but they didn't let her stay. Needless to say, it was a rough night.
Relatively new facility Clean room (although small) Good security Easy to find in downtown area, close to tourist attractions Breakfast so-so
I paid an extra $20 to check in at 12:00pm on top of a 89.00 room charge last Saturday. Today is 5/13/19
Satisfactory.
The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The pool and facilities were a bonus. The staff was very friendly and they had the best continental breakfast
The remodel was way better than it used to be. The free pets is great! The no smoking policy in rooms is great! The smoking area is now across the parking lot but needs to be better enforced. There was some smoking in the breezeways late night and early mornings. Which is horrible when you are allergic to smoke. Also noise level from other guests (drunk) was disturbing...
Easy check in, comfy rooms, great a.c.
The beds were super nice staff was super nice the room was nice and overall it was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at Lodge travel and the interstate
The specifics say the hotel is 0.9 miles from the Space and Rocket Center (we had a group of students staying there all week), and though this might be as the crow flies it took us 1.2 miles (across a busy road in the morning) to get there. It's not that great of a distance change but from the listing it seems as though it is pretty close, and it is not. There are 2 ot...
I was happy with my stay but would hope they would add some variety to breakfast. Also, more than one regular coffee package in the rooms.
I stayed for 10 days this trip visiting family members. Location was close to interstate and shopping and restaurants.. Free breakfast every morning had many choices and I would say of quality. Overall the room was clean and the staff always helpful and courteous. A good stay and good value.
I was in Dothan for a bicycling event. The hot buffet breakfast made the Clarion experience all worth it. It was a 101 mile ride & breakfast is so important. I will be back next year.
The location of the hotel is good. Very close to several restaurants and easy access to major thoroughfares. Unfortunately, the hotel is old and dated. Simple up keep is overlooked... burnt bulbs, peeling paint, walkways are filthy. When I checked in the room I was assigned wasn't even cleaned... appeared that the previous guest left the room minutes before I walked in...
Staff was rude and I woke up covered in bites from bed bugs! Dead June Bugs on floor in bathroom too, so gross. Stay away from this place!
Missing a shower curtain.
Nice place to stay, clean rooms quite inside. No freeway noise. Pretty safe as the rooms are inwards inside the corridor. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay again
4-star hotels in Alabama State
We had a lovely stay at the Westin in Birmingham. Great location and very helpful staff. We were traveling with our dog and they even brought him a dog bed and treats. We will definitely stay at the Westin again after our experience.
This hotel has a lot to admire. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was yummy. The only problem we had was the sliding door to the bathroom was very hard to push. The beds were very comfortable. I do wish they had blow dryers in the rooms.
