Emilia-Romagna hotels & accommodations

Great hotel, great service, great breakfast. Bare in mind, location is 25 minutes by car from city. There is only one local bus line (line 93) to city centre, and it only transits few times a day! Awfull! Once, it did not show up at all. We ended up using taxi every time, making our trip a lot expensive. Only use this hotel if you have your own means of transportatio...

Ideal location near station and market and pedestrianised old city full of interesting sights and sites! Found a great restaurant to eat (Donatelle) serving the best pork I have ever eaten in huge portions for 8 euros. Hotrle room immaculate aned well equiped thouigh the kettle was not automatic at least it had one. Wonderful bathroom and very comfortable bed. Be aware...

the una bologna hotel really earns its four-star rating. it is a modern hotel with with great design that conveys style and personality. while all the furniture seems brand new, perhaps the carpeting in our room requires renovation. standard rooms are very comfortable. the bathrooms are spacious and feature a nice bathtub and amenities. lighting is great. the roo...

Great staff very friendly and helpful, at the reception and the restaurant. Beds are confortable and room is very clean. We had a triple room with kingsize bed and sofabed. Even the sofa bed was really good. But a little bit small but you can take that for granted. The price is very cheap compared to the rest of the hotels. The pool is very big and great. The breakfast...

Prompt and very friendly check in. I was lucky my room was available in the morning after 10am and they were so nice to let me use it straight away. The room was standard for one person but had a double bed in it so presume this one is mainly used for solo travellers. There was plenty of room for me. Bathroom and shower were a bit tiny but nice set up and unless you ar...

Almost everything in Bologna was booked during my travel dates so I ended up staying here, which is outside the city. It was also a bit too expensive for what it was, but I think that reflects the prices in Bologna at this time. The rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. They helped me with a lot of questions. Also they have ample car parking and I had rent...

Our stay was good. There were nice gardens and smoking area at back of hotel. Front exit of hotel is straight into high density people area but you quickly find your way to quieter places. Lots of restuarants close by and easy walking distance to Old Town attractions. All the trademarks of Italian culture and commerce are here. Bologna isn't a cheap place for dining....

Free parking right in front of the hotel and we could even see our car from the balcony. We stayed in a Junior Suite- love the double bed and showers, were extremely comfortable & relaxing! And the ever changing LED lights adds on to the romantic ambience! Plenty of walking space even with our 2 large luggages. We enjoyed Hotel Lungomare but sadly, not Cesenatico. Did...

Excellent value for money - my single room was quite small but perfectly formed with a comfortable bed, air-con, a desk' a roomy wardrobe with a safe inside, tv, handy sockets for phone charging, and a bathroom with a shower positioned on the wall opposite the loo. The wifi was not always 100% but adequate most of the time, breakfast was included in the price and was p...

We spent 12 nights at this lovely hotel (2nd time booked this hotel). We enjoyed our staying - very relaxed with great experience! The location is very good, 5 minutes’ walk either to the train station , the beach or to the centre with all the shops and restaurants. Very good size room, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Really like the idea of simply cocktail...

This hotel ticks all the boxes, everything is outstanding. I would suggest if driving by car book the private garage. The hotel sends very good instructions on how to get there. It is very close to the hotel. There is a restricted driving zone in Bologna.

We had a great time in Italy. Nice and kindly staff. morning breakfast was little bit poor. need to be everything prepared. nothing there milk as usually, egg or other breakfast staff. should be **** hotel but this was the minus for that. always ask for milk or cofee. other minus - not much people in there speaks English :). on the breakfast specially. lady cannot ta...

Art nouveau hotel. Old world classy. Comfy bed, big bathroom. Very clean. ...Internet speed? Not so good, it runs less than 1G. ....My only real complaint is as regards the advertised free breakfast, as its not free. Apparently you have to book the super duper suite to get that....I considered it false advertising, but not worth fighting over....just beware as they did...

Location should be the best as this is the hotel nearest to the Ravenna Train Station. There are some small eateries around and the city centre is within 10 mins of walking. The room is considered big and decoration is modern. It gave me one of my best stay in Italy.

We made a last minute booking and got a good deal, having been let down by our previously booked hotel in Ravenna. A nice clean, modern hotel, friendly staff and good breakfast for 6 euros- croissant, cereal, fruit and cake. Location on the very edge of town meant a bus ride in to the centre for sightseeing.

It's a good hotel for seminar or business travel but it's not for travel in bologna coz the one way to go to the hotel or leave from the hotel it's taxi only!!! it's ok if you have a car coz it's the nice hotel and cheap but if you dont, i think you pay a little bit money and stay near the downtown it's more comfortable and maybe it's save your money more than here.
Cheap places to stay in Emilia-Romagna

Was here for the SIGEP exhibition in Rimini. I didnt see a 3 star hotel here. More to an inn or maybe a 1 or 2 star hotel. Room was very small and basic. Breakfast was great, loved their freshly baked croissants. The service was great, the host helped me a lot. Allowed for late checkout and even helped me find a box and tape for me. If i return here, it would be solel...

We had a pretty nice stay. The hotel staff was helpful, the beach is a few blocks away, and the neighborhood is quiet. For us the most important thing was the price and we were able to get a good deal on the rooms. We thought there would be separate beds but instead they were just beds big enough for two people, which was fine.

The hotel is a bit dated and has a feeling of a large .... hostel, but apart from that, it was clean, decent size room, all facilities, good breakfast and very nice staff ... maybe possible to get something cheaper but overall good stay! I would stay there again

Was there for an convention, Lorenzo was a great host, made us feel comfortable. Remini is a small town but all information that we need were provided. He also gave a great recommendation for food. We will definitely stay there and recommend to anyone. Near the beach n great views..

Although the Agoda link to this B&B did not state in its policies, the hotel told me they would charge 10 Euros extra for checking in after 7 pm. They also had a notice of a 5 Euro charge for leaving luggage until 5 pm. I checked in before 8 pm and, luckily, they did not charge extra perhaps because I had emailed them complaining of the charge.. I was in room 2 which ...

Excellent stay. Large rooms with nice beds. Secure. Lockers. Clean. Good quite place with solid walls. Plenty of space in the rooms. Free parking nearby (if you can find a space and if you ask them). Wifi was good. Staff was helpful. Very nice. I'd stay here again.

Pros: large hostel that you can do a lot of things here indoor and outdoor. Rooms are very clean. Staff is very very helpful and friendly. Breakfast has plenty of options to choose(cereals, jam, ham, cheese, pastries, breads, coffee, milk, soy milk) Cons: just a bit far from the city center. Overall: PERFECT

Overall experience was pleasant and comfortable. We attended the Rimini Fiera, a shuttle bus was available at the hotel but we had our own transport. We thought the complimentary "aperitivo" and a glass of Prosecco that awaited our return was a nice touch. Multi-lingual staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were smalll but we were given a suite with a sofa bed and add...

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Amba, which was exactly what we expected: a nice, simple hotel near the beach with a small, but comfortable room. We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful dinner both nights at restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The only negative with our stay was the surprise request that we pay VAT tax on the room in addition to the ci...

The owners and staff are always there to assist with anything you need and any information. In the evenings there chief put on a spread for all geusts to enjoy including drinks complimentary. I have traveled around a lot but never come across a hotel like this one Ten stars. There hospitality is second to none

We stayed at this hotel just one night, it was perfectly clean and simple. Shared bathroom was spotless. Location of the hotel is not far from the center and you can walk to all important sightseeing spots. It was possible to park the car at the street for free. Ferrara is small quiet town full of bycicles and students.

Really odd location - your nearest food choices are on the way to Theodoric's tomb, and you wouldn't want to stay here without a car. The room was basic, fairly small, and the bathroom also small, but we booked at the last minute for 42 euros, including breakfast, and it was good value. The buffet breakfast wasn't bad and the staff were nice.

I've stayed at dozens of hotels in Europe and this one stands out as a gem. The location is superb - right in the very center of Bologna. Room was spacious, a wonderful view of the garden below and a small but adequate lift to get you to the 4th floor. Hostess is very knowledgeable and efficient. Breakfast was very adequate. Knowing I was leaving early for a train, ...

The location was good, it near to the beach. The owner was perfect. We have an issue on the wifi, due to our setting is different from Italy. He was very helpful to solve our problem immediately. He was very friendly and fulfil our needs. The room was big and clean.

The hotel is comfortable and clean with very friendly staff.Their price was considerably lower than that of any hotel in the center and it took me 10 minutes walking from the hotel to get to train station Pianoro and 20 minutes by train to get to Bologna center.

Clean, central and cozy, this hotel offers all of the amenities necessary for a long or short stay. Staff is outgoing and friendly, the hotel is beautiful and has retained it's original character while offering modern features. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy and traditional hotel in a beautiful area.

During a 2 month cycle trip I stayed 2 nights and loved the hotel, staff and city. The hotel manager is very helpful and gives you recommendations what to do, where to go in the city. English language skills are excellent. The room was clean and had this modern minimalistic charm. Big windows allowed to have a great look over the city. Bathrooms and showers been in per...

The hotel is in good place - at the side of the town near the main road. The airport is not functional (or only sometimes), than there are no plain voices. We get a new room, was nice and huge, than I was absolutely happy. The only things I missing are the towel ranks and the soap dish from the bathroom. The room was cleaned every day and was clean. The breakfast was e...

I was very happy about my choice of this hotel. Staff is very helpful, room are not very big but very clean and comfortable. We had room with sea view on the second level, in spite of a lot of activity's outside, in side of room was very quite. Breakfast had a lot of choice for any fussy eater. Also it was very nice of the staff to offer free water when we were leav...

The hotel is well placed for the station and getting into the Main Square, both only three minutes and fifteen minutes walk respectively. The rooms were very clean, the staff were very friendly and the buffet breakfast choice was of a high standard. I will definitely book to stay at the NH Bologna De La Gare again!

No criticisms whatsoever as this business hotel provided both exceptional service and hospitality necessary to make our stay joyful. Situated just 10 mins from city center the hotel was clean, spacious, and served good food! Would stay again without hesitation. Free nescafe coffee in the lobby!
