Evora District hotels & accommodations

This is a perfect location for old Evora, but you must ask for a large room that is quiet. We booked through Agoda and requested a large room (my husband is 6'5" tall) and were shown to a very small room that was noisy and smelled very musty of mold. We were told that it was 'a better room' but further investigation of the hotel revealed that it was not truthful. I ...

Amazing palace/hotel overlooking a lovely town. When we arrived we knew it would be something special, and it exceeded our expectations. The public spaces were richly decorated ,and our superior room had a four poster king bed with an awesome view. As it was our anniversary, room service delivered a complimentary bottle of champagne, and two egg custards accompanied by...

This is a very pleasant characterful old building furnished to match. Our bedroom was large and clean with two tall shuttered windows looking out to the small plaza below. Breakfast is a well designed buffet selection. Once we had our bearings and a map! It proved easy to wander Evora from this hotel. The assistance from the unfailingly pleasant Carmen Miranda on recep...

There were no cons at all. After traveling from Sagres we stopped in Evora and then had plans to drive on to Merida the next day. Vila Vicosa was a perfect place to stop for the night. Although I really wished we could have stayed for at least another night. We had not realized that the palace was next door as well as so many other interesting sites in this clean and g...

The spacious, bright rooms at the Dom Fernando Evora are situated around the central pool with a small patio through the French windows. Maybe fans of the privacy afforded by net curtains may not appreciate the choice of curtains either fully closed or fully open. The lobby was large and the bar service added to our early evening fun. The breakfast buffet was excellent...

Casa Do Vale was well placed on the way into Evora coming from Lisbon. The staff were helpful and efficient, the room clean spacious and comfortable, and the pool a boon after driving on a warm afternoon. Breakfast was disappointing mainly because a bus load of guest departing early ate and drank all the supplies and the staff could not replenish quickly enought to cat...

My husband and I with my parents had a wonderful stay at Noble House in Evora. We were treated so well, like nobility. The welcome was warm and friendly. The food was delicious. The Noble house location was excellent for walking around the charming town of Evora. We would definitely return and highly recommend to friends.

Not exactly as advertised, had to ask for soap, no shampoos or other toiletries as advertised. Staff invisible, but that seems par for the course in Hostel accom in Spain. Our room was so noisy we did not sleep the first night, ear plugs in and doona over the window helped the second night. I think it is noisy because of university induction month. Other than that the ...

Enjoyed one night here. Slight issue with house phone that kept ringing through the night a number of times (until I answered it at 2 am - some guest had been delayed and was trying to get it but had no key..). Seemed to have been unusual event, but I would suggest having the phone in the host's room - not near the guest room (where the host obviously could not hear ...
