Guayas Province hotels & accommodations

The hotel is beautiful and in an excellent location. We booked a king deluxe room but on our arrival we were given a basic twin bed room and which is $150/night cheaper than what we paid. When asked to be moved to the room that we had booked we were told that the hotel was full and they could not move us. The hotel was very quiet so I doubt that they were at 100% ca...

Delightful family run business but it's a shabby looking establishment which doesn't inspire confidence when you clap eyes on it. But the family give everyone a warm welcome and are so very helpful. Their English speaking daughters are particularly reassuring when it comes to attention to detail. In the rooms, you cannot have the curtains open without people being able...

We chose this accommodation because we had a flight to catch the following morning. It's about a 20 minute walk to the airport. The accommodation was very clean, secure, had great facilities and was only a 2 minute walk away from a shopping centre. Our host "Serena" was lovely and very organized. It was a pleasure to stay here.

I just used this as a transit location before and after Galapagos as many people do. My 6 bed dorm was spacious with clean ensure bathroom, breakfast was good, some hammocks too. The fan didn't really reach my bed though and it gets quite hot so shop around for a good bed location when entering. Staff were helpful with taxis, bus organization.

After 2 days of travelling by air and feeling dead tired, the Hotel DC was the perfect choice for a quiet and safe place to get rested up. David the proprietor was excellent waiting up until 1am for my arrival. He also drove me back to the airport the following morning. It was a bonus that he spoke English.

This hostel was a little out of the way, but Michael is wonderful! He's very friendly and interacts with guests. The atmosphere was very relaxed and Michael will cook food himself and sell it for dinner so you don't have to go out. Perfect for an overnight in Guayaquil.

It was under remodeling when I went a few days ago so it was a bit hard to find (look for the bright green building). Kind and attentive staff, simple and clean accomodation, good wifi, close to the bus terminal and airport so it’s perfect for a one night stay in Guayaquil. Taxis and ubers are cheap and fast to the Malecon, I took the bus for a quarter to the main aven...

The Oro Verde has the best hotel facilities in Guayaquil. We stayed in a King business suite, relatively inexpensive on Agoda. This was our 2nd excellent stay. We arrived before our Galapagos tour group and stayed and extra day after they left. The gym is great. There’s a steam room, sauna, hot tub and cold plunge in each locker room in addition to the outdoor pool ( ...

Stayed here the first and last night of a 16 night trip around the country. First night, dated rooms, with noisy air conditioner. Awesome day time front desk lady. Best breakfast buffet in the country! Mini bar included in the price. Last night stay, same helpful, friendly front desk lady. Promised the mini bar again (2 beers). MUCH better room, on the second floor. Th...

Hotel is a $5 cab ride from the airport. Come out of the hotel front door, turn right, turn right again and on the corner (on the right is the place to get a $10 shuttle to Salinas. And the shuttle drops you at you condo or hotel. Yeah! Stop in to make a reservation, our van was full. Good breakfast included in the hotel stay. Would use this hotel again.

An amazing hotel. It doesn't have some of the amenities of other hotels around the same price, but the price is worth it for the building alone. I have never stayed in such a beautiful building. History positively eekes its way out of every corner. Furthermore, the owner and all the staff are amazingly friendly (not a lot of english, but that's fine by me) and the loca...

The Guayaquil Holiday Inn was within walking distance to the airport. However, if you let them know when your flight will arrive, they will have a shuttle van waiting for you! The bartender was AWESOME! Very friendly, a great sense of humor, and an all around great guy! His boss was wonderful as well! We started our vacation here and ended it here as well! Best decis...

I stayed at this small hotel for one night in between 2 trips. It is very close from the airport. You can take an uber and your there in 5 min. The room was big, clean and quiet. They offered a delicious breakfast with scrambled eggs, fresh fruit juice, cheese and fresh fruit. I would stay here again!

Best thing about the hotel is its location in the heart of Urdesa--probably my favourite suburb in Guayaquil. Hotel is fine. Room was comfortable, with air conditioning. That slightly older design that doesn't get a lot of natural light, but perfectly fine. Service was quite friendly.
