This is my 3rd night which is an extension stay (My review was dated 4 Apr 2017). The nearest town is Narathiwat Town, about 20 minutes by car. This town is great for eating and shopping, and offers many attractions such as Buddha statues and temples, and is the point for further travels by bus or van to other major towns. Strategic Location, lovely garden, rooms are generously spacious and clean, brand new linen, premium quality mattress and pillow, aircond was cold, the town is right opposite the hotel, well within walking distance, restaurant food is simply amazing, staffs are very friendly and helpful, lots of parking within hotel compound, shower pressure was just right, after walk...

sadly we only stayed in Sungai Kolok for a day. the moonshadow is located above a restaurant and has more of an airbnb or homestay feeling to it. The owner is really helpful and offers to drive you to a tree in the jungle if you are free. the interior is really nostalgic as well, and they offer a great freshly made breakfast.
