Where to stay in Pichincha Province
Pichincha Province hotels & accommodations

I stayed at this hotel for a few hours at night between flights. I was very satisfied with my stay. I took a taxi from the taxi desk at the airport, and it was about a 10-minute ride (there was no traffic). I was welcomed by the lone night staff, who was extremely efficient checking me in, woke me up at the agreed time, then was very efficient checking me out. The ...

got a stopover between colombia and peru here in quito. the location of the hotel is ok, maybe for the weekend it would be better in the historic center but however taxis are quite cheap and all attractions are quite near. breakfast was really good. the room was huge and equiped with two balconies - thats the good point, maybe it was a bit old fashioned. the wifi was w...

We enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and comfortable. The view from the café is wonderful and we enjoyed the artwork throughout the hotel. The hotel location is very close (walking distance) to several churches and the capital & presidential house. Also buses run at regular intervals to many additional sites, but taxi service in town is very cheap. I would recomm...

Almost no complain about the hotel. When we checked in, the front desk told us there're no reservation records, even though I showed them booking voucher. I told them that this error was between the hotel and Agoda; if they have rooms available, they should give us room instead of waiting 30 minutes to understand where it went wrong. Fortunately they came to know how t...

I had a great stay in L'auberge Inn only a 10min walk from the Centro Historico. The staff are very nice and helpful, they have an integrated restaurant as well as laundry service. unfortunately my white wash came back yellow and dirty also I have asked to get clothes washed separately and prepared them and was supposed to pay more which was fine for me. white wash had...

We stayed 2 nights. The only window in the room has a view of the main lobby so curtains had to be closed for privacy. Don't ask for laundry service here. They charged us 30 USD for 2 small bags when there was laundry service just down the street for less than 2 dollars per kilo. The staff speaks great english. I would stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Reina Isabel - surprised by the spaciousness of the rooms & bathrooms. Back again for a second & third stay whilst in transit to exploring other countries. Be aware - that Sunday is rest day in Quito - so if you need room service - the main restaurant is closed Staff extremely friendly and helpful with all our needs, we left luggage...

This new hotel is beautiful and they do everything to try to make your stay a happy one. Some downsides which they will most likely fix soon: Spa was not built yet as of our early July 2018 stay... although the website did not mention that back when we booked 4 months prior. No big deal. It will likely be a great spa. The room keys stopped working prematurely d...

I liked the hotel however we were close to the kitchen and it was quite noisy. The breakfasts were great however the night we got in, we went to eat dinner at the hotel and they only had 2 items on the menu available and it was a long wait. I liked the location and the hotel was very cute.

This was one of the best, most authentic hotels I've stayed at. The restored and carefully preserved old family home was converted to a really nice hotel with modern amenities but still felt like we were staying at someone's home. The staff and owner were super friendly. There was an initial mix-up when we were picked up at the airport. They sent a small car for two...

Pros Staff willing to help at anytime and offer additional security. Location is great for just wondering around the old town to see the sights there. Cons Difficult to stand in the kitchen long as it is open air. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy from the kitchen.

We stayed at La Coupole for two nights and absolutely loved it. The suite was beautiful, very spacious with a sitting area, very large balcony and a large bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The hotel grounds are beautiful as well and the area felt very safe. Breakfast is included and is very filling. The hotel itself has a lot of charm and character, and is probabl...

This hostel was the best I stayed in so far. The location is great, the area is safe, Plaza Foch (the party zone) is around the corner, but don t worry, the hostel and the street where it is located are quiet so u can get a good rest. The hostel itself is amazing! It has a very welcoming living room with TV, u would feel like u are home. U will find some other chilling...

We have stayed at a number of places in Quito - all ok but didn't like the neighborhoods. Cayman was in what appeared to be a very nice area. We felt safer there than the other hostals we have tried. Facility was spotless, beautiful grounds, and the handled our transportation to and from the airport with no problems. We will stay there again.

I chose Springhills Quito Airport because it was close and because I didn't want to pay what the Wyndham charges despite the fact that it is closer. Springhills seems "far away" but in fact it is truly a lovely property only 10 minutes away. I TOTALLY GIVE THEM A 10+ for communication. I asked many question in advance and all of my questions were answered almost i...

The place is very clean, from rooms to common areas Strong hot water 24/7 The location is very accessible to public transport and near the center. Staff are very helpful, they arranged an airport transfer for us at 3am and even sent us off at that time.

I had a great experience staying at this charming facility. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They helped me get oriented with my touchdown in Quito and to enjoy my time there. the location was great for my purposes, and I repeat, the staff--Donna, Beatriz and Jimmy--were all very friendly and helpful. It really was like being a guest in someone's home but with all...

We had two encounters with Casa CarpeDM. Our first was when we were there one evening before getting picked up for the jungle. Paul said we could use any of the common areas, gave us the wifi info, recommended a spot for dinner and gave us a key so that we could get back in the building. Amazing service when we were not even paying guests! We stayed a night at Casa Car...
Cheap places to stay in Pichincha Province

Big capsule beds, super clean, good wifi, in a huge old hacienda that’s super beautiful, and their food is amazing. Downsides: they charge for refilling your own water bottle (most hotels don’t), there’s no kitchen to cook for yourself in, food is expensive and there’s no general hangout area other than the super nice restaurant which has the ambience of a restaurant, ...

Lovely family run hostel, owners will do anything to help including giving information and tips on the city, helping get to the bus station etc. My single room was cute and tidy. Location is about 10 minutes walk from the historical centre and there are a number of cheap local restaurants close by. I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were lovely and spoke a little English, breakfast was good. The electric shower was dodgy. This hotel is NOT 10 mins from airport it took a good 45 minutes. The hotel rang for a taxi which after 30 mins had not arrived which made for a very stressful ride to the airport for our Galápagos flight. We took a local bus to the...

the staff was friendly and spoke both English and Spanish. They were super helpful with things to do and how to get around. The room was clean and bed included plenty of blankets. Bathroom was clean, had a little trouble with the shower head and the hot water but otherwise everything was great!

The staff at this place is great and soo helpful with everything. Breakfast includes fruitsallad, bread, fried eggs, fresh juice and hot chocolate/tea/coffe! The only downfall with this hostel are disrespectful backpackers and thats not the hostels fault.

I stayed here three nights and owner Christian was very attentive. He got me a strong, safe driver to take me back to airport with five heavy bags. I wish he had showed me the kitchen facilities and washer/dryer at checkin but I stumbled upon them halfway through. Location is close to a pleasant park. The rooms open up to the hallway so if you wanted any air flow you h...

I arrived at 2:30 am due to flight delays. I was shown my room straight away and able to pay the next morning. Everything was beautifully clean and well maintained. I was given a map very good instructions in English on how to find my way in Quito . Wonderful service. Thanks travellers inn

This is a simple but very clean guesthouse that is well located for all major Quito attractions being so close to public transport or even by foot. The amazing Central Bank Museum is a 10mn walk and the old town 10mn on the bus. Breakfast is delicious and the hosts very friendly and helpful. Ask for a room away from the kitchen if you want to sleep beyond 7am!!

Very pleasant facility, just steps from the craziness and restaurants of Plaza Foch and Mariscal. A block from Ecovia busway; 300m from supermarket, laundry, etc. "Cafeteria" has a pot of strong coffee each morning, but bring your own breakfast foods. Apparently no heat, though. When December temperatures fell to 12º outside, rooms and even lobby were only about 16...

You can't get closer to old town on this budget, so that's a big plus. The rooms were clean but tired, the walls a bit stained. The shower was very finicky and had two temperatures: scalding and freezing (as we've found in much of Ecuador). Pick a room toward the back if you're very sensitive to noise--the rooms with balconies and windows are great for light (since ot...

We found Finlandia to be an excellent choice for us, close to Quicentro Mall, several pharmacies, the red line bus, and the first stop for the Quito Hop on, Hop off Bus tour. There were not so many local restuarants in the neighborhood, but the hotel restaurant was quite good and reasonably priced. The staff was almost univesally excellent, helping us with the Tren tou...

I'm torn writing this review. I like the hotel. It's a very nice building, the staff are great, and the room in general is fine. However, the room was freezing cold at night when I was there and there is no central heat or air. The second night the staff provided a space heater, which worked well, but still, the room was so cold until the space heater got going.

Facilities great - including washing machine and drier. Relaxing place to stay which is very close to Grand Plaza and Basilica. On a steep footpath but easily negotiated even with suitcase (downhill). Would advise using their airport shuttle service if arriving by plane. The driver showed everything we needed. The owner/managed replied quickly to any questions in good ...

I had the most beautiful stay at Hotel Carlota. Everything about Hotel Carlota is perfect. Centrally located in the historical center, it is a tastefully-designed and beautifully-restored colonial mansion turned into an intimate 12-room boutique hotel. The rooms are exquisite and the most impressive part is the soaring ceiling - at least 25 ft high! The hotel has a w...

I booked on of the studio apartments and found it to be spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is furnished for cooking - if you want to cook, the staff are super friendly, the location is great and for the little bit of extra $ you get a lot more comfort then what a hostel could offer you.

Pros: Great, helpful staff (our prepaid reservation was not showing up on their computers but they had zero problems with checking us in anyways) Very clean and brand new (spotlessly clean with electronic toilets and remote blinds, as nice as some Japanese hotels we’ve stayed in) Tasty, diverse breakfast buffet (the free breakfast is fantastic and changes a little ever...

Good location. Friendly staff. Though the 15-18sqm suite is very expensive, the hotel is quite obviously very stingy. We always stay at 4-5 stars hotels, but have never paid so much money for so little before. Breakfast is limited. No wifi in certain areas. One bottle of water for entire stay. No mini bar. Cheap out-of-place wardrobe too narrow for hangers. Will defini...
