South Carolina hotels & accommodations

This was a great choice of hotel! It is located within walking distance of all of the downtown, as well as the bar and restaurant scene on King Street. I felt very safe in the area. The rooms need a little love, but they were clean and perfectly comfortable. I also cannot say enough about how great the staff is. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They really made th...

I was very pleasantly surprised ! Even with renovations going on while I was there the staff and facilities were amazing ! Could not have asked for a better vacation. Very clean & staff went above and beyond. The valet service was well worth the extra money too .

There were a few bugs at night. But it's the South, at the beach. The pools were beautiful, the view amazing, the staff so friendly and professional, the Yella Umbrella poolside bar OUTSTANDING (yells out to To. Ronnie and Kayla) - such kind women. Rose Room breakfast across the street, an included part of the stay, excellent. I was at the resort 5 or 6 days, and it w...

This hotel is at a great location, close to the beach, oceanfront room view was excellent. Room was clean, but not spotless. Bathroom was old and dated. Carpet throughout was dirty, needs a good shampooing. The pool area was really nice. Tiki Bar was nice and reasonably priced. Most enjoyable was the pool area. There were many families with children having fun. ...

This resort is amazing... we never even went to the beach there was so much to do and the water park was awesome! Our room was in the Kingston plantation condos... it was nice but our room didn’t get consistent daily housekeeping so we had to ask for several things but the staff was quick to accommodate. I’ll definitely be back to Kingston plantation.

I didn’t even stay at Baymont. I arrived at 0100am Jan 10th to be told I could not stay cause reservation was for Jan 10th -11th Reservations were because I was arriving during the early am. I even marked my arrival time. I tried calling after 9am to cancel and talk to someone about this. They were very rude and told me to call agoda. I was unable to cancel thru them ...

Decided to take a last minute trip with the kids ages 8, 12 & 15. Great location right on the beach. We got a room right next to the pool so the kids could just walk out of the room and go swimming. Continental breakfast was nice and they offer coffee, tea, and juice all day. We wanted to spend the last day hanging out so asked for a late check out and was quickly acc...

I was a little surprised when we went to check in and almost 100. dollars added to cost for vat and resort fees.Yes we had fun.Yes we booked a more expensive place because of the water park and for our grandkids to enjoy. But we were not expecting more for the room and then added fees.I believe this should be shown as soon as you book and let people know the full price...

Walkable distance from everything and it's great that we could use the pools at CQ. The outdoor pool is great with the swim up bar. Very nice view of the ocean from the room. The room could use a little makeover and maybe fix the bed frame. I was literally wobbling and hanging on one side of the bed because there was no support at the bottom. Lastly, the lazy river ar...

We were a little surprised to find that our modest-sized room with one (very comfortable) double bed also contained a full-sized fridge, four-ring stove with oven, microwave, sink, cupboards, pots, dishes, cutlery, table for two. We didn't need this at all (just spending the night so as to catch an early morning flight out of Myrtle Beach Airport), but if you did want ...

Kudos to manager Lindy White for making me feel totally at home. Stayed for nearly a month and found hotel very comfortable. Everything you need for extended stay -- to-it-yourself laundry facilities, in-room fridge and microwave, excellent breakfast buffet with lots of healthy choices. FREE business center!

The front desk was quite helpful, we were in need of directions around the area and they were quite helpful giving us easy to understand and clear directions each time. Everyone was friendly and the breakfast was well prepared and the ladies running the breakfast were friendly and helpful. I accidently spilled my coffee and the lady stepped in and cleaned it before I c...

Nice location, they only clean your room every forth day. When your on a beach it should be done daily. We were on the top floor, pigeons were on our balcony all the time, not once did anyone clean the poop up. Made our balcony useless. Had a water stain on the ceiling $5.00 worth of paint would have taken care of
Cheap places to stay in South Carolina

I booked a room with 2 beds and a small kitchen, but when i got to my room there was only 1 small bed and barely any space in the room. There was no kitchen at all. The location was awesome other then all the loud cars late at night showing off

breakfast was chaotic with most people looking for pancake syrups, crema cheese , eggs etc ... just to be told that there’s none available anymore. Then minutes later another staff would show up and just pull them out somewhere ... at a time when we’re done with bfast. Staffs are just not that helpful .

We ended up staying somewhere else. Dead cockroaches on the floor, cigarette burns in the blankets, a toilet seat with visible pee stains. The incompetent front desk worker took about 20 minutes just to check us in. It’s not that hard...I’ve done it. The door to our room was broken, so that you’d have to try the key several times and heave your body weight against the ...

Quickly, 1) hotel parking is off site. 2) No in room coffee, unless you bring your own. They do have coffee maker in room. 3) The room was kinda small and bedroom was always dark. 4) If you smoke the hotel is completely non-smoking and 250.00 fee for smoking in or on balcony. 4) Checkin is 4pm and check out is 11am. They hand you hotel handout explaining there is no...

The room itself was clean and nice. The bathroom had a blood stain on the wall, the toilet leaked from the wall and the bottom of the shower curtain was covered in mold. They lock the door between the rooms and the front desk. If you book with an agency vs. The hotel themselves, they wont change anything about your booking. There were dead bugs on the back of the windo...

The only problem was when we were leaving. The attendant (owner) was there while we were packing our truck. He followed me into the office when I was to check out. I barely said, "I'm checking out" before he started complaining about me parking in the handicap parking space, grumbling that some guests were complaining. I politely informed him that I'm disabled. He...

Booked a 400sf room (showed as 4 adults and 2 children) and got a standard 280sf. Hotel staff said they don’t have rooms that big. Management never bothered to call me back following my complaint. Place was clean. Breakfast is nothing special although the make your own waffles were good. Pool was closed for the winter and the gym was extremely small.

I read a LOT of negative reviews, but really it wasn’t that bad. The rooms were huge, the beds were comfortable, and everything worked. There were some things that could have used an upgrade, but all in all, given the location I’d totally stay here again. It definitely wasn’t a “resort”, but for being right on the beach it was worth it to me.

This room would have been very reasonably priced for the area, however it was filthy. The bathroom and room itself hadn't been cleaned in quite sometime. You could easily see the dirt and dust The furniture obviously was original and very worn. If we had not been a late arrival we would have left. It is located next to the Dollar Store in SANTEE. I was up half the night...

I knew what I was getting into with a 1 star rating but for this trip price was the only factor, or so I thought. All I wanted was a clean bed and decent bathroom for a quick overnight stop. My entire family slept on top of the covers because no one wanted to sleep under the stained sheets. While the room had been freshly renovated they forgot the bathroom. There ...

Loved this property with awesome pools and Beach area! They need more umbrellas by the pool as there are only a handful. Pool opens at 9am and there's a line to get in every morning with folks rushing to get those few spots. Property beautiful and we'll maintained.
