Splitsko-Dalmatinska hotels & accommodations

I booked this hotel on a ferry only an hour away from split because we didn't have one booked. and they luckily had one available. it was a bit hard to find but if you look up at the numbers you'll be able to find it easily. the staff was super professional and check out was even easier than getting this apartment. we had an 8 am bus to Krka waterfalls, so they told us...

Close to the bus terminus(~2k). Lovely balcony with a view of hills and water. The hotel staff are polite and their English is fine. Breakfast is good. A bus outside the hotel takes you to the old city. A walk around the neighbourhood reveals some restaurants and various grocery stores. The room is lovely, large and the best blackout curtains. The beds are large and th...

This hotel was undergoing renovations so we were given rooms in their sister hotel Plaza Marachi. This was as well a heritage hotel. The hotel set up was awesome. Still had some of the original walls. The rooms had charm and convenience. The receptionist came to help us with taking our luggage f rom the Varos to the hotel. She was loo very helpful in explaining the hi...

We loved our room It was spacious extremely comfortable great bed and shower was the best of our trip. Lovely bathroom products and well stocked fridge. It all seemed brand new! The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of fresh foods, great coffee and tea. Reception was also very helpful. Just a small problem. There was an electrical cord draped across the...

We really enjoyed our stay at Bracka Perla - especially outside the main season. Apartments are nice, location is great (close to beach and walking distance to Supetar) and the staff was friendly. And the outdoor Jacuzzi was great to relax after a tough day at the beach :-)

Right in the literal heart of the old part of the city, maybe a three-minute walk to the Peristil, and less than 10 minutes to the ferries. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and we really loved being situated so that it was easy to enjoy the old quarter once most of the day trippers had left. Plus Marko was an absolute gem - met us at th airport right on time...

We stayed in 3 different hotels in Split as we couldnt book all nights in the same and this was the best! An amazing bed, great shower, luxury bedsheets, it is a brand new hotel! There is a great restaurant inside what makes our life easier on the rainy weather. We paid more to stay in other hotels with less quality, so definitly it is a great choice in Split!

I was staying at Prima Luce the night before leaving to go back home. I was greatly impressed by the room and it was a good location. However, at a little before midnight there was lots of pounding going on and then a high pitched constant noise. This, of course, kept me up and I was unable to sleep the whole night leading me to leave with a bad taste in my mouth and b...

Ideally situated 350 metres from old town. We were in the deluxe suite which was huge, beautifully furnished with super comfy bed and great shower. Good choice of continental breakfast with eggs made to order. What made it for us was the staff. They were so helpful recommending local restaurants and booking them for us. Advised on places to visit and best ways to get t...

Really enjoyed my time there - we booked it last minute as well and were lucky to get a room! The staff were flawless, absolutely amazing, couldn't do enough for you. However a couple of things to note, the breakfast is rather limited in terms of a full English. On two occasions when I got some scrambled egg, I found two hairs in there, both of which were over three in...

Absolutely fabulous stay. I stayed in the studio apartment on the ground floor. The standout was the host, Petar, who helped with luggage, provided recommendations, and took his time to ensure I was comfortable and met every need. I could contact him at any time and he responded quickly. The apartment was spacious, meticulously clean, comfortable, gorgeous and well lo...

Value for money. Recommended for short stay as the hotel has clean rooms and is located very close to City Center. Staff was friendly and gave us good travel tips. Breakfast spread was good and there is a supermarket just outside the hotel which has everything you would need for a short stay.

We stayed at Luna for three nights and were absolutely overwhelmed by the warm welcoming we got. The room we stayed in was super clean and had several drawers and lockers for us to put our things in. We were surprised when we got back the first night and our room was cleaned and the bed nicely made. On the balcony you can hang west towels and swim wear for dry. We love...

Hostel is about a 10 mins walk up a hill from the port. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff - husband and wife team - were very friendly and helpful. The hostel common areas and kitchen are well laid out for social activity and interaction.

Danijela was great: extremely friendly and helpful! The apartment is beautiful - kitchen and bathroom had been renovated and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location is fantastic - near the waterfront but out of the tourist bustle. I like the concept of sharing an apartment as a budget traveller because it made the apartment affordable but allowed the privacy...

Pros. Central location in split. Need to walk through to Dioclecian palace to access. Difficult to find But call host to find. Kitchenette handy. Cons. Bed was hard and not level. Need to invest in good quality bed if going to pay top price. Couldn't use tv for 3 days host didn't know how to fix. Anyway lovely overall.

Worthwhile booking the one bedroom apartment for a comfortable stay. It didnt feel like a hostel and is very clean. Abit hard to find at forsy as there are alot of small alley way streets. Recommend to look up your own directions prior. Tourist information centres and 2 supermarkets are nearby

We travelled through the Balkans for two weeks and this was one of our favourite accommodations. Eugene was responsive, friendly and helpful, and our apartment, which is a charming one-bedroom on the ground floor less than 20 feet from the ocean, was very clean, well-equipped and spacious. The area was quaint with lots of Dalmatian style stone houses (including our acc...
Cheap places to stay in Splitsko-Dalmatinska

It's a hostel, so don't expect a 5star hotel rooms, but it is really perfect if you just want a bed and shower for a cheap price in a super convenient location. I arrived late at night after the reception closed, but the staff communicated with me very well beforehand so that I had no trouble finding the key and checking in by myself. Also I left early the next morning...

I was helped with directions, good explanation of the maps and where to go also Ivana have recommended the boat trip to the islands for me which was great. Both Medina and Ivana had always a great smile everyday coming down the stairs it was always so nice to talk to them both. I really enjoyed my stay and that it because the two receptionists were so nice and friendly...

Probably one of the largest hostel I’ve stayed before. Hostel is about 800m uphill walk from old town which is not very convenient. The hostel itself has a huge common area and is beautifully decorated. Rooms are very spacious, air conditioning is perfect, lockers are big and towels are provided. There are also hangers which you can use. Beds are comfortable and yo...

Location of hostel is easy walking distance between main bus station and old town. Hostel reception was kind enough to allow me to check in an hour later than stipulated time. Also gives you a big map showing and explaining to you the sights of Makarska. Super helpful. Hostel building itself is very big and has many common areas. Was put in a 6 man room. Towels, rel...

The apartment was quite basic, but clean and tidy and had a fridge and facilities to have breakfast in the apartment, which was good for us on a budget! The highlight was the fact that Adria staff met us off the boat at the pier and collected or luggage on arrival - which meant that we could head off straight away to spend the day at the beach. Also on the day of chec...

The room we got was very tiny and maybe more suitable for one person than a couple. Said that, it had all the necessary facilities like a fridge, kitchenware, stove, ect. The view from the window is very nice and the location very good. The house is maybe 200m from the bus terminal. It's a good hotel if you are transferring through Split or you need to catch an early b...

This is by far the best hostel I've ever stayed, having said wonderful things about Freedom House in Budva. This is centrally located, 10 minutes from bus station, yet quiet and away from pubs, close to a supermarket. The staff is multilingual and very helpful and friendly. The whole place was newly renovated and each suite looks very cool with all the easy facilities ...

Ideally located a few minutes' walk from the central Diocletian's Palace area in one direction, and the port and bus station in the other, this was a real find and highly recommended to anyone considering a few days' stay in Split. Tucked away off a quiet pedestrianised side-street, it offers excellent peace and quiet despite the central location, and both the apartmen...

room denis hotel is my best choice in split. the host is very nice & poi let and efficient for all the enquirer message before my stay via email, after check in, the host gave me all information i need and they prepared so well. room is so nice, not so big but good enough for a couples travelers, the room was room, except the bathroom is a bit small, the locations is s...

The apartment was fantastic as far as location but please bring earplugs as it's very load from outdoor activity that keeps on going till about 3am. I was on the 1st floor so that didn't help much. I thought check in was strange. On arrival the main door was closed. Luckily I had a transfer booked so the gentleman walking me to the apartment asked the bar man at the b...

We had a one night stay here, en route to Italy from the Islands. The room was large, comfortable and had a washing machine which was super helpful for us!! Helpful staff, great location, within a five minute walk from the Riva. The only downside was that being non-smokers, the room definitely had a 'smoked in' smell which clung to our clothes for the next few days. De...

nothing to complain about. Nice apartment with a large terass in the garden where you could eat your brekfast or even make a grilled dinner at the fire place/grill. Good located with a few minutes walk down to Bol Harbour and to the beach Zlatni rat. The owners lives in same house and they werr really nice.

A two day booking turned into two weeks. The accommodation is very comfortable and we felt very much at home. Nermin, the owner, is very helpful and respectful and never came around knocking at the door or bothering us. His calm personality just added to the tranquil environment. The day we left he drove us down to the port early in the morning. The kitchen was very w...

We absolutely loved Guest House Maris when we visited Split in September. The house is run by a lovely family you couldn’t do more for you, a special thanks to Kristina who helped us out a lot whilst we were staying. The room was beautiful with amazing facilities including a smart TV! And the house was situated along a lovely little street full of restaurants and caf...

Pros The location is very close to Split's main promenade (Riva) which has lots of restaurants, bars, money exchange, grocery stores, drug stores and basically anything you'll possible need. The apartment itself was fully equipped with cooking utensils, washing machine and was very clean and comfortable. What made it such an amazing stay was the service of Jure (Manage...

We arrived at around noon and was greeted by staff who had previously emailed to know what time we were expected in Split. Rooms Diana is on the floor level (which was great for us as we had large heavy luggage). Clean room and bathroom with AC. Staff very friendly and helpful with how to get around Split. Value for money. Private but small bathroom. Close to marina a...

This family run hotel is easily one of our favorite hotels in Croatia. The entire family is so helpful and friendly. Hotel is well run for being family owned. They offer their own 24/7 shuttle service which was very convenient. You can even arrange pick up/drop off from Hvar port. Any time you want to go elsewhere they charge 50 kuna, which is cheaper than local taxis...

The staff, Nina, was really kind and friendly. This residence was located in a peaceful place and the view at the balcony was awesome. Nice breakfast with sea view was unforgettable. I am sure this residence would be the best place to stay in Split.

We stayed in the double room which is very modern and a very good standard. The location is great you are only a couple of minutes walk away from the main city. I wouldn’t recommend taking a car as it’s difficult to find any free parking and we had to park in the local car park most of the time which charges 7 kuna per hour.

Very new apartment with very clean interior. My sick father had the best sleep here I believe is due to the clean and well kept place. Apartment felt cosy and host was very accommodating, understanding and sincere. We stayed in split for 2 days prior and felt the parking in split was a major headache although there is public parking it usually is free for all. I wo...
Luxury hotels in Splitsko-Dalmatinska

the location of the hotel is convenient, just next to the old town, around 10 minutes walk to the Palace. for my travel plan reason, I need to leave early in the morning and cannot join the breakfast, the reception suggested that they can provide me breakfast package to take away, with a sandwich, a bottle of juice, an apple and a cookie, this is THE sweetest experienc...

President Solin is a lovely hotel and the staff can't do enough for you. Location wise it's about a 15 minute taxi ride from the Split old town so if you're looking to be more central it's probably not the hotel for you. If you want somewhere to relax though it's perfect. Solin itself is also very pretty and there is a lovely Pizzeria a short stroll away which is ve...

The staff and service were really fantastic and the hotel is well located. The grounds are lovely and the beach is only a few steps away. There is a small jacuzzi but no swimming pool. Unfortunately the beds were uncomfortable as they were two singles pushed together with separate single linen. The hotel is very old and our bathroom door couldn't close, but water press...

It was more than 5 star accomodation other than the distance from the city center. Other than that it could not be better than the money we paid. The experience during our stay exeeded our expectation. Onwer put lots of attention to details everywhere in the house. House was exceptionally comfortable and pleaant. Breakfast was great. I would definately come back...

This is an apartment about 15 minutes walk to the old town area. There is no staff and no hotel facilities. The hotel which provides the billing is owned by the same family but is in Zagreb. The apartment is poorly renovated and at street level with limited security. There are no curtains, and, the street and neighbours can see into bathroom, bedroom and lounge. This i...
