Tennessee State hotels & places to stay

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing employees and fun shops and delicious restaurants as well as located within walking distance of so many sites and places. I had an amazing room and fun thoughtful amenities included: duck soap, duck designer toilet paper cover, terrific larger sized shampoo+++ included- which saved my hair from the unaccustomed humidity,-free amazing coffee in their little shop from 6-10 a.m...AND THE DUCK MARCH!!!!!! I actually loved the hotel so much it was hard for me to move away from it....so I will have to return and explore!! The staff is elegant, thoughtful, friendly and wants you to have the BEST VISIT!! Which I did!! (Missed their roof top party AND afternoon tea, but they have many lovely events...) My favorite hotel!! And that includes Europe as well!!!

We loved our stay at the Read House. Every single detail has been considered. The valets Anthony and David were top notch. Jody was amazing at the front desk. Also Byron at the ChopHouse was super. Rooms were elegant and sophisticated. And the entire hotel is spotless. I had the best sleep there I have had in years. Every single interaction with hotel employees exceeded our expectations!! You get what you pay for. Well done Ladies and Gentlemen, well done!!!

Great hotel with a Nashville vibe! My husband and I stayed for a weekend in July 2019. Hotel is completely updated. We were able to sign up for their program and get free breakfast both days which was a seated and served restaurant in the hotel. Bar staff was semi friendly, the only reason this hotel doesn’t get 5 stars is the elevators. They are awful. We walked 9 flights of stairs with our bags on checkout day. Otherwise, great experience!

Location is great if you plan to walk to Broadway which is party central. We chose this hotel because it had a pool. However, it was not a relaxing pool. It had 50 people in the pool or along the edge at all times drinking. The wind would blow beer cans into the pool and people didn't clean up after themselves and neither did the staff until the end of the afternoon. There was no way I would get into that water. There is also a lot of construction in downtown Nashville. One day it started before 7am making it impossible to sleep in. I did bring a white noise machine which helped. The hotel is a huge convention hotel. For the price I expected it to be less of a party hotel and a little quieter. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. Overall it was a typical hotel room and experience.

Everything about the hotel was wonderful. Service was great! Our room was very spacious and it was 3 of us to a room so that was a surprise to us. The internet service was pretty great itself. It's location to the city was very close which made us enjoy it even more. 10 minutes or less to get anywhere we wanted to go which made it very convenient for our travelling adventures. The only thing that kinda bummed me out was their tiny workout room that they had. Hoped for something a little bit bigger. But I'm a bit of a workout freak. Overall I give it a 10/10 would recommend anyone visiting Tennessee to stay at Hotel Preston!

only issue we had was we had a room with an adjoining door and the second night that room had kids/babies that were uncondolable and cried/screamed until 2 in the morning. Being young kids and having kids ourselves (although it with us) we didn’t complain but had that been my kids I wouldn’t have disturbed e equine ends but would have taken them to ride or something. Just me but from a parent stand point I don’t want to listen to my own kid cry so I know no else does either. Still 5 star because not the hotels fsult.

We stayed an overnight to attend a concert at Bridgestone Arena. It was easy to walk to and to access downtown. The breakfast was outstanding! So much to chose from and all delicious. It was a bit pricey especially when you add the parking on to the bill but I would stay again. I would wait to check the price a couple of days before arriving because I could have gotten it cheaper had I done that.

Slept like a baby- bed very comfortable!!! Breakfast was better than last time we stayed at this property(10/2017). Breakfast staff were all very friendly and efficient. Food was good. The coffee delivery system should be evaluated. Regular coffee ran out quickly- five times during the hour we were there, which necessitated patrons to notify staff each time and then wait for more to be brewed and brought to dining area. Perhaps utilize larger containers? Carpet in our room had multiple red and black stains.(This seems to be common in Hyatt Places) Shower was NOT clean. We have stayed in Hyatt’s in the US and abroad, since the ‘80’s. We would like to continue to receive the quality and value we’ve come to expect from Hyatt.

The Chattanoogan Hotel was very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. However I was not impressed with the service I received from Agoda on booking my reservations. Called them three times to see why the hotel did not have my reservations. The problem was cleared up and we were given a room. Just upsetting that the day you are to arrive you call t0 confirm and there is no reservation.

Very nice hotel, they are in transition since it is now a Travelodge by Wyndham. I got an awesome weekend price for three nights last weekend!? King size bed, very comfy, coffee maker and hair dryer in bathroom, iron and ironing board and luggage stand in the room, microwave and refrigerator with freezer, nice flat screen TV with lots of cable channels and local channels, table, chairs, couch! Very spacious room and the staff were very friendly . Very very nice hotel, next time I'll try the excersize room and maybe breakfast?

Took my family to a concert at Bridgestone Arena and decided to pay for a room at the Hilton as an added bonus for them. It’s across the street from the arena, and it’s suppose to be a nice place. I paid for the bells n whistles kinda extras since it was all a gift for them. Ended up in a room with none of the added that I asked for. Extras are upon availability when you check in, not when you book. I will add that we arrived an hour and a half before check I’m so we Seoul’s get first dibs on our room. Anyway. There was a large stain running the length of the floor in front of the tv area, the feet area of the bathroom sink were so filthy that my fingers were sticky when I saw the mess and touched it, the shower was filthy with black sticky nastiness in all crevices, pull out drawer area completely broke off when we tried to open it, our fridge didn’t even cool our drinks in a 24 hour period. There is no microwave in your room either, I asked and no rooms have one. Stay elsewhere

Good hotel about 15min walk from downtown but they have a shuttle that drops you at the bottom of Broadway and runs till 9pm. Nice big room good breakfast friendly staff. Only thing was I asked for a quiet room not near the indoor pool. What did I get second floor facing the pool. Which means you hear traffic noise and pool noise. But it wasn't too bad. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, excellent experience. Free parking, excellent location to downtown and the Titian’s stadium. Kids love the pool, gym , and the breakfast. My only complaints are the room was hot, never really got below 73 degrees, no matter how low we sat the thermostat on. The refrigerator didn’t have a freezer, but ice was very close by. The room was a little crowded with 2 adults and 2 twelve year olds. Pillows were extremely comfortable, I always have to bring my own pillow but theirs were better than mine! The free hot breakfast was one of the best I have ever eaten at a hotel. Very clean, I have severe allergies to dust and was fine the entire stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hotel close to downtown Nashville. We plan on staying there on our next trip!

I was in Nashville for a conference at the Music City Center. I chose this Comfort Inn because I knew I would be able to walk between the two. I paid over $700 for three nights and was a little disappointed in the room when I arrived. I was clean and the staff was very friendly, but the room felt cramped and outdated. All the room doors have outside access (no interior hallways), so traffic noise was a little bothersome, but I was able to sleep pretty easily. My room was, unfortunately, next to a gazebo that smokers were using, so I heard a lot of loud conversations in the evenings. The breakfast spread was very good, for a budget hotel. Made-to-order omelets and make-your-own waffles, on top of a variety of grain and fruit options. I ate well every morning. The Wifi was shaky though; I was unable to complete a Skype call one evening and didn't bother trying again. If I had known, I would have requested a room higher up and facing away from the streets.

We stayed here for two nights. Location was perfect as we were right next to the grand ole opry. There was some downfalls, breakfast was not that good seemed small and the breakfast area was small as well. Room was equipped with a jacuzzi but it toke almost thirty minutes to fill up as the water was slow. I would say the hotel was overpriced for what was offered as the breakfast was small and the jacuzzi was not really worth it. I would give this a hotel rating as a 2.5 out of 5 stars.

We only stayed at the Best Western Convention Centre for one night. The location was excellent – only a short stroll to the convention centre and the main street. We arrived earlier than check in, and fortunately for us, two out of three our groups rooms were available before normal check in. Reception staff were very helpful with directions & suggestions on where to eat. They managed to get us all on the same level which was fantastic. The beds were super comfy, clean and a great size. Breakfast was included in the price, and was a basic continental (nothing to write home about). Free wifi was also available which was a bonus. They also only had one lift, which was a bit slow. Was sometimes quicker to take the stairs. All in all, a great reasonably priced hotel in a great location
