Really Satisfied!”

The staff is really friendly, the price is cheap, and clean pool! The trees around and the quiet place, reminds me with Bali. If you want to stay for couple days, just buy bunch of snacks incase you hungry at night, because it's a bit scary(even i tried and nothing happen) if you walk to 7/11 at night, since it takes 5-10minutes walk in quiet street. You can walk like 15minutes to the beach close to resort and not too much people in there. There's motorbike rental close to this resort as well, just ask the staff and they will let you know the place. Tips: If you want to rent motorbike close to Riviera only for a day, better you get the motorbike in the morning because they just open untill 6pm, and you can't give it back at night.

I booked two weeks and, after renting a motorbike from a nearby shop, wasn't really motivated to change resorts and booked another week. I'll definitely return and may even inquire whether they've any longer-term options. With the bike it's possible to avoid the relatively busy Naklua Road and use back lanes to travel from the Dolphin roundabout all the way to Naklua soi 12.

Nice garden”

The hotel has an amazing garden, it’s a very peaceful place, no noice at all, 5 minutes walk from the main road and grocery shop, the room was clean but old, comfortable bed, toilet was clean and old too, but it’s a good place to stay for the money, nice hotel for families that want to stay away from the nigth life in Pattaya, the breakfast needs to be improved

Isolated but nice”

The Riviera is on an isolated Soi. It is so isolated their are no annoying Taxis lurking outside the hotel. One almost has the feeling that the hotel is placed in the middle of the jungle. The pool is great. The staff are polite and helpful. The walk down to the beach is pleasant. Our room was on the 4th floor. Their is no elevator. This was not a problem for us but might be a disadvantage to some.

We where two persons. The stay was nice and we where treated very professional by all of the staff. The price we where paying was very reasonable. The menu was not so varying but ok. There where no mosquitoes. The pool and the poolarea was fine and clean. It was quiet around the clock. We have no complaints what so ever. Nevertheless we have one warning. One of us was attacked by three wild dogs in the evening! I was walking between the main street and to the hotell. It takes ca. 10 minutes. This problem is a very dangerous one and should be delt with by the local agencies. The dogs really tried to bite but was fought of by undersigned with a big bag and some noice. But be very carefull because these dogs often have a lot of diseaces, like rabies, and you will end up in hospital, very sick.

Great Weekend Getaway”

When i were here i found this hotel fantastic. The staff were all clearly competent and I felt the staff perfectly friendly and acted in a professional manner. The rooms themselves were very clean and the location is superb - because i like quiet surroundings resort. Is a bit far to walk out to the main road but the receptionist will call for you a motor taxi outside, and they will come in and pick you in less a min. I would definately recommend this hotel.

Very good value for money, clean little resort ”

After 30 years of visiting Pattaya , I was happy to find this nice little resort with parking in front of the room with nice swimming pool and close to the beach.

friendly staff but poor quality rooms”

We are budget travellers, and are used to budget accommodation. I'm mostly forgiving of basic amenities etc., but the Riviera resort was not nice. 1. To get to the hotel you have to walk down a dusty path, past loads of scraggy dogs, and a cafe with topless middle aged men sat outside gawping 2. Our room had lizards in it, and everything was shabby - there were stains on the sheets and on the mosquito-net 3. The bathroom had a scary vent under the sink that wouldn't close and was full of cobwebs. And the light was just hanging off the ceiling, and the tiles were stained, and the shower was pretty much just a hose, spurting water in random dribbles 4. WiFi doesn't reach the rooms 5. The air-con was the loudest thing EVER. We couldn't sleep over the rattling 6. We bought coffee in the morning, from the menu the waiter brought over. When we paid he said it was actually 50baht more because the menu had 'old prices' in it 7. This isn't so much the hotel's fault, but a lot of the other guests were unsavoury - i.e. the man who sat in his pants on his ground-floor balcony, leering at people walking past ALL DAY. But the staff were very smiley and polite, and the gardens were nice. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean, and the beach nearby, Naklua, was lovely.

Good service, neat complex but old room”

this resort is a well kept complex with a relaxing pool area. it is a good retreat for those that want time away from the hustle and bustle of the city but its location may not be convenient enough for those that are looking to spend time partying and enjoying the nightlife of pattaya. the single room that i rented was old and the bathroom state was a bit of a shock as the walls were dirty and looked like it needed a touch up. the service provided by this place was excellent as they helped with booking taxi, buying food for me after their kitchen was closed and just being friendly and helpful in general. the free wifi at the lobby area was useful as well. overall it is value for money so if you are looking for an affordable and family friendly place to stay at pattaya and are not too fussed about the flashiness of the room and don't mind a bit of travel to get to the main beach/nightlife area,, i'd recommend this place.

not for everyone”

this hotel is a quiet oasis, 10 minutes walk from the main road that allows you to get into central pattaya for 10 baht on the pickup taxi. to get to the nearest crowded beach, about a 20 minutes walk. a very nice pool/jacuzzi area and a very comfortable executive room with doors that can open out to the breezes. staff is helpful and friendly.

i would deffinately stay hear agian. it was quiet and comfortable, with good staff and a homely atmospher. I think it was alsovalue for money considering the time of year. i wish that it would have been possible to hire a moterbike from the hotel but hisisjust a small piont and should nit reflect the overhall standerd of the hotel.

Lovely villa type hotel in a resort atomosphere”

As I just stayed there one night, I could not feel much about that hotel. But little far location from the main street. Only thing I depressed was the room...not that beautiful such as photos on the website. It was pretty old and facilities were poor. I think it's not worth for price, because I've been stayed and looked at much more beautiful hotel with cheaper price than this hotel. No elevator, but staff helped me to carry my baggage up to the room of 4th. floor. It was very nice that the hotel people were very friendly.

Attentive staff and great setting. The amount of green plants here is great. It was low season so the price was right. not many people at this time here. I would go back again.

A little bit outside of the city and pretty far away from beach.the pool ist exelend and togethe with the rooms settled in an e xcellent garden.rooms are a bit out of time and english is not a common language here.but it is quiet,and the "busness" you may expect in pattaya is missing. So, its a good place to relax, for the one who are looking for more,should find a place nearer to the action. Altogether great value for the price

Quiet place and near to Naklua Centre”

the rooms are a bit old but still ok. staff is very helpful and nice. pool is big, clean and deep. we found it a good price value. attention : the food is lousy there but many restaurants are nearby with a scooter. internet is just available in public places and not in the rooms as described !

Pleasant and quiet.”

Our stay was pleasant enough. We basically got what we paid for. Our only gripe is that the hotel was much further away from any shopping areas and the beach than it appears on the map. Certainly a good 15 to 20 minutes taxi drive to central Pattaya. As for the beach it was a good 15 minute walk. The swimming pool was very clean and its surroundings were very nice.

Lovely and Quiet resort”

We stayed for a night between Saturday and Sunday. The hotel is located in a quiet place and has a lovely garden. The room we got was facing the garden. The swimming pool is wonderful and great breakfast. We loved it! Great value for money.
