SBox Sukhumvit is perfect for Solo travellers like me who prefers an actual hotel experience in a definitely much cheaper price. 1. Hotel room is exceptionally clean. Everyday, the cleaning lady cleans my room and replaces all the towels I use. 2. The room is decent size. Bathroom is definitely decent compared to hotels I've been to in the same price. I appreciate that there are 2 showerheads both with Hot and Cold function. I also love the fact that the bathroom is well lit. Spacious vanity and sink. Plus, there's an outlet! Not all hotels provides an outlet near the sink which is frustrating since I prefer to dry my hair in the bathroom than elsewhere. 3. The black out curtain is very easy to use. 4. There's plenty of storage and giant mirrors! They even have a cute kitchenette with ice container and electric thermos ready for use. 5. The location! Its near everything especially the Emsphere mall that's 3mins walk. They also have a 7/11 nearby and an ATM machine on the other building beside. 6. I was not expecting that they actually have free breakfast for everyone! Of all the breads I've tried, they definitely have the bestest set of pastries to think that it's for free! I've been to high end and pricy bread and pastry shops yet I'd def would go back to SBox not just for the accommodation but most especially for the free breakfast. The lady who's also in charge in the kitchen is so nice and welcoming. Makes the entire experience more wholesome. 7. Lastly, its the staff. They're so nice and lovely. They're the ones that makes the entire place worth it. Overall, its an amazing experience with SBox. I just think that the ambient lighting in my room was broken reason why its not as bright as I hope it would during the night. And the television being regular instead of a smart one. But hence, I'd love to go back again. Stayed here for 6nights and cant wait to be back again. This hotel is highly recommended!!!!
I stayed in 2 types of room in S Box as I decided to upgrade my room for the last night of stay. Let's start with the one I booked (capsule). Honestly, it's hard to imagine being given a room in the basement, just next to the garage and whatnot. The atmosphere feels a little creepy, the air smells weird, there were obvious flies settling outside my room waiting to rush in whenever I open my room door. Room wise, space is small which is understandable, but it has all the basic amenities and the room is comfortable still. Essentially, you are paying for the S Hotel branding at a fraction of the price you would pay at S31 opposite, and of course there are less facilities like the lack of swimming pool or a breakfast buffet. Light breakfast is provided at S Box daily, which is much appreciated. Fast forward to the last night, I now see that I have more a bad choice choosing the capsule room, since the Superior room was in every way a direct upgrade from the capsule. The bed is much bigger, the room is spacious as well, even the bathroom is significantly larger too! It also comes with a big window that you can pull the automatic blind if you prefer privacy. All in all, this felt like it should have been the basic room S Box should offer, but of course the budget room is perfectly priced for its value if you are travelling solo. If you were to go for the Superior room instead, more hotels can easily beat the price, and just pay a little more and you can stay at S31 instead! In overall, it was good to finally stay in S Box to see how it matches up to its bigger sister S31 (which I stayed for a couple of nights a few years ago). It was worth the trip, the location is pretty good, but in terms of value and pricing it is in somewhat of an awkward position in the market.

I have been using this hotel every 70 days. The location and the staff's response are very good! The best thing I would like to highlight about this hotel is that it includes breakfast! It is a light meal, but there are various types of bread (with a toaster available), boiled eggs, sausages (if you tell the staff how many, they will boil them for you), vegetables (sliced onions, cucumber, tomatoes), and drinks such as coffee and orange juice, which are self-serve! There is also mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard, so you can make hot dogs! Another thing I would like to highlight is the hotel amenities. They have shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and even body cream for after bathing. There are also a hairdryer, kettle, mini refrigerator, and safe. The only things missing are loungewear and slippers. There were no toothbrushes in the room last time and this time as well, but when I informed the cleaning staff, they prepared them immediately. Also, this time there were no hangers in the room, so when I mentioned it to the cleaning staff, they were very accommodating. I plan to stay again in 70 days, so I think I will make a reservation soon. It’s really worth more than the price!
