“Heaven in perfect Island location ”
We got an ocean room upgrade without asking for it and it was wonderful. Bed was massive with comfortable pillows. Shower was spacious. The resort has great facilities and scenic garden with the view point at the top of the resort- don’t miss it out!

“Best resort ever”
Everything about this resort was excellent. It’s beautiful, clean, friendly and professional staff, tons of amenities, and more. Beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, every interaction with staff was professional and friendly, the spa services were excellent, facilities were great too. Gym, pool, restaurant, beach club…everything was beyond what I expected. I will definitely stay here again when I return.

“Nice modern hotel with mountains view”
The hotel is elegant, with a stylish design. Most rooms offer beautiful views of the mountains and the ocean. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. The only downside is that many services come at an extra charge. Parking is not free, sunbeds by the pool are either paid or the free ones look uncomfortable and cheap, and yoga classes also cost extra. At hotels of this level, such services are usually included (e.g., free parking, comfortable sunbeds, yoga, etc.).

“Great design, high level ”
We enjoyed our stay in Saccharum. For such aesthetes as we are it’s just perfect. It’s rather far from Funchal, so if you don’t rent a car be prepared to take taxi everywhere and it costs a lot and sometimes it’s hard to catch it. But to stay in nature, it’s the best hotel. Amazing breakfast, comfortable beds, great pool. We took with a half ocean view, half on a mountain. I think it’s the best view in a hotel.

“Amazing stay ”
I had pleasure of staying at this hotel that truly exceeded my expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, providing a luxurious feel that made my stay all the more enjoyable.
