An OK basic place”

Salin home is basically a Thai style apartment converted to a hotel. Overall, not a bad budget option but I probably would stay somewhere else next time. Pros: many 7/11s and food stalls nearby. The place is clean, the rooms are quiet, and staff is helpful. Cons: The major disadvantage of the place is its remoteness from the train station so one has to rely on taxis. There was also no fridge provided and they charge 50 Baht for calling a taxi (its 20 Baht most at many other places). Wifi was also not very reliable.

Although Salin Home is basic, we found it clean and comfortable. We thought the value for money was good. We would recommend it to a friend and stay there again if we are in the area. It is near to the Mall Bangkapi and convenient to several hospitals.

Great Stay! ”

Really spacious rooms in the Bangkapi area for a really great price. Very clean and well maintained. Short walk to 7-Eleven and some street food. You may be worried about the location but you can take the Khlong boats into Bangkok central for just 18 Baht, so it's not such an issue staying so far from the action. Plus it's an experience in itself.

Memorable”

I stayed at Salin's home for only 3 days 2 nights. The hotel was great, however it was not that easy to locate the location of the place, it was inside of an alley, though it is safe because the people are friendly. I would stay at the same place again, as it was spacious and clean for the most part, though they do not offer a fridge in the room, though it is not a concern of mine as it was not important.

This is a good modern hotel. The staff were helpful at all times. Located within easy reach of food from the market or local restaurants. Many local shops and within easy reach of The Mall shopping center. I can recommend this hotel as very good value for money.

best location in a cheap price”

I stay here for the fifth time already. the hotel is located in a perfect location & only a few minutes to main road & airport. room is very clean although the bathroom is quite small but overall worth to pay.

i have been staying here for almost every time i visiting bkk, the room is quite cheap and located in a good place, i.e. close to shopping area and the airport. the staff are very kind and helpful.i will definitely go back again when i visiting bkk.

Basic accommodation near the airport”

We stayed here to get to the airport fast in the morning. The hotel is situated in an area with enough options for dinner. The staff didn't speak English very well. The value for money is good.

Cozy little hotel”

The service was good and friendly. There is parking but is not covered and I am not sure how well guarded it is, but we had no trouble at all with the parking, we even forgot some of our luggage in the back of the pickup truck and no one touched it.

Fine for a bed and bath”

I enjoyed my 5 hours at skin home while resting before a flight. Easy access in and out of airport and walkable to mall.

Cheap Hotel, Big Room, Far from main street”

Overall my stay is okay here, cheap rate, big room, and clean. The only problem is the hotel location is quite long walking distance from the main road...but the good thing is many street vendors open their store along this alley. I dont recommend this hotel for a solo female traveler because walking alone is not recommended at night around this hotel.

they offer very comfortable rooms. i stayed in the superior room which had everything i needed. room was cleaned daily with free water. bed was comfy with lots of pillows. there is also satelite that had some english channels on and off.

The hotel is a bit far from the main road which is good for your quiet rest. The room is clean and well organized. The hotel is near aorport too

If you have a car, it is good to stay. But if taxi, difficult to catch when you go outside. However the room is clean and still 2 years after built. Towel also high quality.
