Good!”

I've been stayed at Samran Place at 3-5 August 2017 and 6-7 August 2017. The hotel is strategic because it's near from Platinum Mall / Pratunam Market and MBK center / Siam Paragon / Siam World. Another reason why i loved to stay here because it's so easy to find halal foods, because across the hotel there's a Mosque called Darul-Aman Mosque and surrounded by halal street foods / restaurants. The rooms also clean, big, but for the television channel selection dominated by local channel and about have 2 international channels only. I also like the staffs who quite friendly and fast response. Unfortunately there are no bellboy at the hotel, but they have a security to help us bring all the bags to the rooms and the security also so friendly. All the breakfast so delicious and and quite diverse. According to the price it's so good value for money. But when i stayed here at 6-7 August 2017, i got the standard room at 3rd floor and it's so different from our 2 first night because i think i got the old room which i was not get a flat television and in the bath ub, there're sounds like broken. But all over, Samran Place is the best place to stay over!

A staying place with satisfying services”

Decided to book this hotel through Agoda.com. Samran place hotel is a recommended hotel with satisfying services. The Pros are as follows: 1. very delicious breakfast (included in your hotel rental) 2. High speed Wi-fi service (FOC) 3. Friendly staff (receptionist, waiter/waitress & security guard) 4. Nice view from balcony (Can experience the lifestyle of thai local from the sightseeing) 5. Clean washroom 6. Daily house-keeping services 7. Strategic location which near many shopping malls. (can easily get taxi and tuk-tuk taxi. Besides, there is only 5 mins walking distance to BTS train station, Ratchatthewi) However, we can't find water dispenser in the hotel. In the end, we have to go restaurant and ask the waiter to fill drinking water for us. In addition, the air-cond & water heater is not user-friendly. It is either too cold or too hot. In conclusion,I will definitely choose this hotel on my next bangkok trip in the future days. On top of that, I will also recommend this wonderful hotel to my relatives and friends around me if they are planning and choosing whether which hotel to stay for their bangkok trip.

Good Hotel to stay”

Samran Place is situated along a busy road n next to Bangkok City Hotel. There is a 7 Eleven nearby. Check in was quite fast n they give u 2 passwords for 2 devices for wifi. The room which I stayed was very clean but the bathroom was a bit clamped. Air con was cold but the mattresses n pillows were hard. Also no hair dryer in room n safe but there was a small fridge. There was a balcony in the room which I liked. The hotel was newly renovated n there is a sourvenir shop at the 2nd level.Samran Place serve an adequate buffet breakfast but it is non halal. For muslims, u can cross to the road opposite by using the bridge where there is a mosque a short distance away where u can find halal food. Also there r a few shops a bit further down serving muslim food. U can walk to Pratunam by foot which is about 10 mins away. For budget travellers to get to Samran Place, u can use take the A1 bus which is waiting right outside the arrival hall in Don Mueang Airport if u come from KL The bus is air conditioned n u can buy your fare on the bus. It will cost 40 bahts to Mochit where u can take the bts which cost 37 bahts to Ratchethewi n make your way by foot to Samran Place which is about 10 mins away. Cheap, clean with easy access to food nearby, what more do u want!

Budget Hotel Good for Solo travellers”

I had a wonderful stay at Samran Place Hotel. I reached before 12 O clock but was given room without any problem. The staff was good and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The room was cleaned everyday. Room service was good. Breakfast was good but there is little problem for vegetarians. The hotel also offers local sightseeing tours to major tourist attractions. You can book a program which also includes drive from taxi to spot and back to hotel and may be lunch also. The location of the hotel is very good it is very near to Ratchathewi (BTS) station and also very near to Siam Square (1.1Km). All in all it is a good budget hotel.

excellent value for money”

my first impression of samran place hotel is the location.excellent only a 5 minute walk to phaya thai bts station.in my opinion the hotel is very clean,i found the staff ever so friendly.the bathroom in my room was very nice and clean but the hot water had very little pressure,so i had to shower with the water running cold.i was a bit dissapointed that my room had no balcony and my room did not have a safe.the tv was sufficient for me with english speaking sport,news, movie channels.i thought the internet was an expensive rate at 10 baht for 5 minutes,so i used the free wifi in the lobby which was sufficient.overall in my opinion the hotel is excellent value,and for me so near to the bts station,big plus.

A five-star hotel at a three-star price”

Samran Place is home to me whenever I visit Bangkok. It's a good, basic hotel, importantly decent and close to all amenities a traveler would expect: five-minute walk to Ratchadevi BTS linking to all the famous shopping centres, food and beverage outlets, night spots, Patpong, Chatuchak and tourists attractions. Sumptious local food stores, massage and foot reflexology parlours and convenience stores just at the hotel doorstep. Ten-minute walk to wholesale centres at Pratunam.

Great place to stay with a great restaurant”

this was my second time to stay in samran place. the staff are friendly and helpful. the room is nice--large with good lighting for reading and good internet connection. i ate at the hotel both times and the food was good. the included breakfast has many choices. the bts is about five minutes by foot; so it is a convenient location for getting around. between the hotel and the bts there are many massage places that are very reasonably priced for in the city. i have used two of them and had good massages at both.

Good location”

The hotel has a very good location. It is near Phaya thai station which is the destination of airpot link from Suvarnabhumi Airport. 7-11 and some small restuarants are around. Very convenient. The room is clean, equipped with bascis like shower and airconditions. I lived in the nearby Bangkok City Hotel in January, 2019. That one is crowded, noisy, and dirty. I highly recommend Samran Place.

good service, decent place, great price”

firstly, the nearest bts to samran place hotel is ratchathewi (exit 3) with escalators for both direction from bts entrance to platform but only one escalator that goes up from the group level to bts entrance. the first walk from the bts station to the hotel was pretty intimidating because in the day, the streets and buildings along the streets looked pretty run down. there was also no signs to indicate the exact location of the hotel. it was almost like an aimless walk for us, but evenutally we found the hotel within 7 minutes. nothing fancy, but thank god we found the place. the service crew was polite and our rooms were assigned to us quickly. our enquires were also addressed promptly. when we asked for recommendations and directions, the service crew was also very helpful. the design of the room is very simple with decent space for two huge luggage and walking for two. toilets were also clean. and there's free wi-fi :))) bonus! the exact location of the place is alright, about 10-15 minutes walk to platimum mall and the other shopping areas.

Decent Hotel”

Stayed in Samran Place 2 times. Been to bangkok for more than 20 times. Samran place is a hotel which is decent, comfortable and near to Bts Rachatewii. Very close to Siam Bts and also close to BTS Phayathai for your airport link. 5mins walk to many massage parlor for a good Thai Massage after a long day of tiring shopping. and just down 2 mins to the 7-11. Overall a decent hotel for travellers. Hotel is also good for families to travel as i do see many families staying in the hotel also. The only bad point is after 12am, there's only a bodyguard working and you have to access thru the back door. There will not be any reception until tomorrow morning. Overall, great stay :)

Cheap hotel with good location”

This is my first time go to bangkok, I choose Samran Place Hotel because the location is very near from BTS. Beside that, the facilities and all staff are so good and nice. Of course this is such a very cheap hotel with good location, so it will be east to explore Bangkok.

Great location and excellent value”

I stayed here one night before going to a more expensive hotel around the corner. Samran Place was exceptional value considering its location. The only reason I didn't stay longer is that there wasn't a pool, but other than that the location, price and breakfast were brilliant. Really convenient for the airport and shopping in Siam.

good Hotel, good location”

I stay frequently int the Samran Place, the ptrice is reasonable and breakfast is included, continental or asian. This time I had a bigger room as usual,window to the mainstreet,but the trafic noise is is a disadvantage, but I believe this is all the same in the Hotels in Bangkok except the very expensive hotels. One thing I have to point out, the Sky Train station is within walking distance,from the hotel, this is definitely one of the big advantages of this hotel taxi traval can be a pain in the neck due to traffic situation in bangkok. I can recomen this hotel to everyone who is not willin to spend big money.

Samran is good”

This was the second time staying at Samran, it is close to BTS (4 minutes)so from there the train system can take you where you need to go, tuk tuks are out front, taxis are going by. You can walk to Mbk area 10 minutes and just over 15 minutes walk to a shopping area much better than Mbk and far bigger an better pricing as you come out of hotel turn right first intersection cross diagonlly an walk till you come across the shopping area you will get lost it is big. There is a security guard always around. The hotel does western and asian food yes they do steaks an reasonably priced. The hotel is clean an well maintained aircon works the cost of rooms are good So my stays have been great

I stayed at Samran Place for 7 days. The staff was friendly and helpful and attended to my queries. Mr Tanchai even taught me how to get to the major shopping centres. The other staff were equally helpful. The GM of the restaurant gave us complimentary fruits and offered a glass of milk to my son even though it was not in the menu. I thought that was a kind gesture on his part. Thank you to the staff at Samran Place for the kind hospitality.

I am travel with my hsbd on July 2019 to celebrated our 12 anniversary. The staff are helpfully, the room are big for 2 person, the room cleaning are done everyday. They provided breakfast and Muslim friendly. samran hotel is near a train 400 meter, opposite the road are Muslim area, full of halal food.you can walk to pratunam market, fashion mall about 1 km. Bad thing - the room not sound proof.others, NO complaints at all. Everything excellent for us. We will choose samran place hotel for our next visit to Bangkok.

Convenient to walk to main malls or the BTS”

Predictable as previously for our limited needs to crash after being outdoors most of the day. The front desk helped every time we needed it. If you cannot travel independently, as we can, you may have a different experience, specially as a first time visitor to Thailand. Expectations we have have been realigned with 10 years of travel in Thailand. We may not to Bangkok for the same reason with the unsettling mood created by the protests. A grenade was tossed in a busy shopping area 30 minutes after we left it. The Samran Place hotel will not be the reason for this decision. It is in a safe area.

Good and comfortable hotel”

Our stay at the Samran Place hotel was very good. An effort could be made on the breakfast as it is not very big, whether it is about selection or quantity. The staff was very helpful and very courteous.
