Jimbaran Night time Seafood Restaurants.”
Sari Segara Resort is well located for the Night time Restaurants,Beach and is a great alternative to Kuta and is better for quick transfers to the Airport. Also the Resort hotel offers its own Restaurant with good food at a reasonable price. There are 2 big size clean pools with towels provided. Rooms are of a good standard (a bit tired looking in places), rooms inc.A/C, TV and tea coffee making facilities, bathroom and shower...The Breakfast is of a buffet style and is Excellent Value with Much good food on offer. There is a Health spa here to but we didnt have time to try...maybe next time.

Comfortable, minus the food”
We arrived from the airport around 11pm. The check-in was quick and we were allotted a decent room. Since the booking was discounted and through Agoda, the room was not on the best location because it was behind the other villas and close to the housekeeping staff's godown so a lot of housekeeping staff kept passing by with their stuff to go to the store room all the time. Since we were staying only one night, this was not much of a hassle. However, I liked their swimming pool! Huge and good for a nice swim. What I didn't like was the spa and the food. - The spa doesn't live up to the expectations of a Balinese spa at all. You can totally skip it! - The food is NOT good at all. I had food poisoning during the rest of my trip in Bali, because of food at Sari Segara. Be very careful! Overall, it is a decent place to stay given it's location, comfort, good staff and good pool! The beach is just outside, after a few hundred meters of walk. I would still recommend the hotel for its value for money and location.

This hotel is very quiet and the old building mode”
The reason I chose the 3 rooms at the Sari Segara Resort Villas & Spa because: Gala dinner to the delight of children and parents, Atmosphere sea to the old and new year, a large swimming pool and especially the jacuzi. I was very disappointed when it arrived in Sari Segara Resort Villas & Spa confirm that the gala dinner "old and new year" canceled.

good value and location”
This hotel is older and somewhat worn. But our budget room was spacious, clean and well equipped - the public areas similar. The two pools were nice places to spend time - the bigger one is fine for lap swimming. The inclusive buffet was okay only - other meals seemed quite good at prices higher than Bali budget traveler restaurants but not over the top and considerably cheaper than the 30 or so of Jimbarin's famed seaside seafood restaurants which start just across the road. Sunset is an event here with half southeren Bali come to watch and eat. We could find no budget restaurants in close walking distance - there is a string of beachfront ones a nice 30 minute stroll at the far southern end of the beach. Altogether Sari Segara represented excellent value. Closeness to the airport is a bonus although aircraft noise seemed no problem.

Good service, big room”
We had lived in 2 hotels in Bali. The other one is blue point bay at uluwatu. Compared blue point, Sari is cheaper with better service. i am very satisfied with the short stay there. The room is very big and the pool is amazing. The hotel is close to the beach you can eat seafood BBQ there as well.

Resort Past Its Prime, But Still a Pleasant Stay”
Overall, our stay was nice. There were four of us split between two different rooms. Both rooms were very large and fairly clean. The hotel in general was in need of a little renovation and update, showing signs of wear and tear. It was probably an incredible resort 5 or 10 years ago. Still, it was clean, staff were friendly, and the breakfast was hard to beat. We would recommend Sari Segara for someone wanting to be close to Jimbaran beach and the seafood restaurants there.

Nice beach location, ideal for seafood lovers”
Sari Segara was a great way to end a hectic Bali holiday. Away from the hussle bussle of Kuta, Sari provided some welcome relaxtion time. Very large pools with many lounging chairs, we spent most of our time here. Old style bali resort, but still well maintained and clean. Room itself was large and clean. Aircon was quite noisey, but didnt effect my sleep. Location was superb, aslong as you love seafood with easy access to the many beachside seafood restaraunts. Didnt explore too much, but werent many shops around nor alternate restaraunts. Breakfast selection was brilliant, had it all including sweets. TV reception could do with abit of a tweak, majority of stations were blury. Would stay again, for the relaxtion craving traveller.

Excellent value for money”
This hotel gives the impression it used to be 5* in the 70's and has become a little rundown, however for the price it is excellent value for money and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The pool is huge and there is a good range of food and drinks on the menu that are reasonably priced. It may seem that you are in an excellent location in terms of the fresh seafood warungs on the beach however DO NOT go to the ones on the beach directly in front of the hotel as they are a hugely overpriced as this is where the tour bus coaches go. Instead, get a taxi or walk down to the seafood warungs at the south end of the beach where the fish is in fact much better and half the price. We didn't find that there was that much to do in Jimbaran and the hotel is very quiet so wouldn't advise staying longer then a few days, however a taxi journey to Uluwatu and back was reasonably priced.

An affordable and pleasant stay”
the hotel is good for those who want to save money. Because it is super cheap, you cant expect any luxury. But with the breakfast served and the room equipped with bathtub, i think is really worth every penny. There is also a car and motorbike rental service nearby, in front of Dewata restaurant, which for me is really convenient, because i travelled around the island by motorbike. In conclusion, Sari Segara is really a very cheap hotel with a very good amenities.

Ideal place away from Kuta for an airport transit ”
Our plane arrived into Bali in the evening so this hotel was chosen due to its close-ish proximity to the airport, the beach and local restaurants, but far away from the noise of Kuta. We were delighted with our one night here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the two pools were beautiful, the room was enormous and well appointed, the buffet breakfast was possibly one of the best during our week - and all at a bargain price during the low season. We enjoyed being just a stone's throw away from the sea - although it was full of plastic bags and wood. Fortunately for us there were plenty of local restaurants right opposite the hotel all very keen to serve us at 10:00pm which was really helpful. I can highly recommend this hotel for a short stay. I will definitely consider returning here!

Old but beautiful resort in good location”
this is a very good value for money accommodation. The room was outdated, but clean and with a good shower/bath. The grounds are beautiful and the swimming pool is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful, food in restaurant is inexpensive and tasty. It is very close to seafood restaurants and fishermen village in Jimbaran. I would recommend this hotel for couples and families to stay))

Value Hotel with complications”
We booked at Sari Segara as we were arriving late to the airport and wanted to be in close proximity as well as enjoy a meal at one of Jimbaran's warung. The hotel has an excellent location, the staff are very friendly, the pools are large sand quite nice, and the breakfast is above average. However, the room air-con was not effective, the bathroom shower leaked creating a flooded bathroom, and the wi-fi was frustratingly spotty (making it impossible to book tours/other accommodation in Bali as we were trying to do). We stayed 1 night and despite the great value (USD $45) it was enough.

Affordable resort at Jimabarang beach”
Sari Segara Resort and Villas is affordble resort in an area where typically much higher room rates prevail. There is a reason for these low rates ... the hotel is not very well maintained, and in fact cleaning is also quite sub-standard. The hotel therefore subexist with low room rates and hotel management sees through their fingers of the slow degradation of the big property. For families I think it does not improve things that a university is using the hotel as a dormitory ... and weekends in the restaurant look more like a dorm party, than wonderful resort restaurant. Having said this, staff are friendly, a la carte food is ok (breakfast not so good) and as holiday is all about location, location and location, well this resort is on the great Jimabarang sandy sunset beach, with tons of restaurants to select from. And those interested of aviation photography, the runaway is just 2 km stroll away, for great arrival pictures. So in the balance, it is a pity the manageemnt allows this great property to degrade, right now it is a good budget alternative.

Good Set-up but rooms need to be rennovated”
Wonderfully set-up resort in a very good location if someone wants his/her vacation away from the noise of the bustling crowd. The two Pools are well-maintained and one is a 50-m lap pool. Series of beach-side Seafood restaurants just across the road. There are two more clusters of beach-front restaurants - one within 500m walk down the beach and the other within a Km. The rooms and the common areas of the buildings are a bit run-down and needs rennovation. Air-conditioners were difficult to control to make the room comfortable (either too cold or too hot or worse, sometimes noisy). Staff are helpful. The restaurant is also good for occassional meals. But with scores of beach-facing restaurants on the Jimbaran bay, you might not want to try the hotel restaurant. One big negative, there is no proper convenient shop or super-market within half a kilometer radius of this hotel. But the hotel runs a small convenient shop in its premises to offset this inconvenience. The location is great to travel to different parts of the island avoiding peak traffic of Kuta-Legian-Seminyak. If shopping/nightlife is on one's mind, of course they have to go to those tourist-packed places. If one wants to just relax or go to places like southern Bukit Peninsula, northern Ubud-Kintamani, eastern Gianyar and Sanur or from Sanur take a Bali Hai cruise to Nusa Lembongan, take a trip to see the magnificent temples at Tanah Lot in the west (for Tanah Lot, you need to pass through the traffic of Kuta belt of course) or maybe pass a day relaxing on the beach and indulging in fresh seafood on beach side restaurants; Jimbaran is the place to be and you can consider this hotel if you can compromise a little on room neatness! This hotle certainly is value for money.

fantastic, will go back”
I have been to Bali, many , many times, and this was my first time in Jimbaran. If you want busy, shops etc, night life, don't stay here. The pools at this resort are great, 2 large ones, in greenery and with plenty of sun loungers - and 1 minute from the beach. The beach was fantastic, practically deserted when we went... The staff were efficient, not overly friendly (good, cos staff can seem insincere if too friendly). The bad side was the buffet breakfast, it was so greasy! I am sure they don't need to make it so greasy! That was the bad side, as a consequence we went out for lunch , so we will never know if the rest of their menu is good or not...maybe i will try next time.

Budget resort at Jimbaran beach area”
There are many opinions in Agoda about this hotel, but let's face it : you will get a big room, huge pool area (incl. children's pool), 24 hour restaurant with ok food and reasonable prices, 25 meters from huge Jimbaran beach, and many seafood restaurants for the evening. And all this only 15 minutes from the airport. Anything that has a big chain brand-name added to these features will cost you more at Jimbaran beach. So what is the catch ? Well, the resort is 20+ years old - and in dire need of full refurbishment. In the rooms everything works, they now replaced old TV-sets with LCDs in some rooms ... but yes the rooms look very worn out. Breakfast is not the best, and well, there are hotels with more attentive staff with many more smiles on their faces. But if you are on a budget, want the huge sandy beach off your doorstep, want the huge resort standard pool and feeling of grandiose hotel property in traditional Balinese design - well then Sari Segara is worth every penny. If this hotel was completely re-furbished, it would easily have 4-5 stars. The property is large and grandiose. But lack of TLC towards this property now means they have only 2 stars.

Impressive resort”
Really great customer service at this resort, helpful with good English. The setting is spectacular and the rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Had a massage/spa service there and that was quite good. Enjoyed relaxing and swimming in their big pools. They do a nice breakfast as well and they provided an early one because we were being picked up at 6:30 to be transferred to the fast boat to Lombok.
