Superb location at beach, great staff”
Very comfortable bungalows: good beds, clean as a whistle. Great housekeeping keeps it all together. Rest of the staff was also all friendliness and smiles. We had some very relaxed days.

Perfect location and very friendly staff. Free kayaks adds a little extra to the stay. Rent motorcycles from the hotel and visit one of the waterfalls. The massage closest to the hotel is the best. Looking for a little more classy restaurant? Visit Shantaa, on the other side of the pier.

I went to sea far 3 years ago with my friends and i’m very impressed every there☺️ so 2022, I decided to visit there again everything is still the same but the small things the air conditioner doesn’t clean enough. But the staffs are really nice and try to solve the problem.

Second time”
We loved the first we stayed here so we went here for the second time but this time there was a group of german tourists staying for weeks at night there was a birthday party they were noisy and there a woman who laughed out so loud we were given Room a1 which is the first room there was a noise from people guests walking in the morning and talking while walking so I asked to change the room the next night I was given the room B1 which is the family room with two beds for the same price because there was no room the same type left so I was a bit disappointed for the A1 room we booked a head of one month but the room A1 is not good but B1 is a bit narrow because of two beds and the toilets smell a bit

Wonderful Stay”
Seafar was a lovely place to stay on Koh Kood. Our accomodations were very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The resort was nicely located right on the beach, with a long boardwalk and a good, clean strip of sand. The pool was very nice, and was lit at night, making it a nice place to hang out for the entirety of the day. The resort restaurant had good food for dinners (though it was a little pricey--there are cheaper options on the road outside the resort). The breakfast provided was simple, but good; they had cereals, eggs, good pancakes, fruit, and an assortment of Thai food. The resort also had bread, butter, and jams out all day with a toaster, along with hot water and packets of coffee, tea, and Milo. This little snack area was kept neat, clean, and covered, and came in handy. There was drinking water available for free all day every day. The resort staff were able to call taxis if needed, and there are also motorbikes for rent.

Idyllic tropical location”
Really enjoyed our stay at Seafar & Koh Kut. The island has a very relaxed & sleepy vibe that extends to the resort. Staff were kind and friendly. The room we had was pretty small & basic but we weren't staying there for the room but the amazing beach. Free use of kayaks etc were great & generous. We didn't encounter many mosquitoes thankfully but there were some sand flies about (these seem to be selective in who they target as our toddler & I were unaffected but my husband was targeted & itching). The only things we would recommend to staff & owners to increase amenity of the resort is: 1. Offer free shuttles to the main road & back. You are pretty trapped at the resort eating resort food & resort prices but just at the main road there are some excellent Thai roadside stalls with lots of variety. Lunch for 2-3 cost about $8AUD there. As a young couple with a 2yr old we didn't feel comfortable hiring motorbikes & were informed that a return taxi would cost us about $20AUD! These prices aren't the resorts fault - just island prices but a free shuttle to the main road would have been great. As it was, we walked the 15-20' walk (40' round trip) in the heat just to get out & explore a bit. 2. Darker curtains in the rooms. The curtains were so light our toddler found it hard to sleep during the day. Wasn't a big deal as we hung additional beach towels over the curtains to make it darker. Overall we really enjoyed our stay though & would stay again.

Fabulous experience”
We were at the SeaFar over new year's following the recommendation of a friend. It is family-run, and the family truly cares about their guests and taking good care of the property. It isn't fancy, but it isn't low rent either - the perfect balance for a relaxing beach vacation. The beach has just 5 resorts and plenty of undeveloped areas filled with coconut palms. Perfect balance of enough places to go besides the resort and peace and quiet. There is an area with decent snorkeling right in front, and kayaks for free to borrow. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Koh Kood.

Check my review after my 24 March stay also. I stayed 14 nights on my Agoda booking in 7 November. I planned my 63 day stay with 12 non-reserved days and I feared I would not find anywhere I like as much as the Seafar and Koh Kut so we ended up staying 26 days. Po told us we were the longest staying guests she has had. I'm back in cold, rainy Seattle now and Thailand again seems like only a dream. I love all the staff and everything about this resort and this island. Make sure to go into the massage at the hospital while you are on the island, the eldest lady is a miracle worker. I can't wait to come back, love to all the lovely staff. XOXO

Our stay was perfect! The stuff is very professional and very friendly, the restaurant was good and you can order every time! The location was stunning! we booked for a bungalow in front the beach and it was very beautiful and romantic. The resort have free use of kayak for the costumers and you can rent a motorbike or have a very professional amazing massage for a very cheap price! I have only beautiful memories of our stay! Such a great place!”
We loved loved loved seafar! We didn’t feel like we needed to see any other beach on the island because our beach was right there and BEAUTIFUL! The resort lent us kayaks and snorkels for free as well! Our room was cleaned spotlessly every day-despite the sand we undoubtedly tracked in the room. The beach bar wasn’t up and going yet, because we came at the tail end of the low season, but this was a small price to pay for having the beach and resort almost entirely to ourselves. What a lovely vacation we had at seafar!!!

Great place to stay”
Our poolside room was quite private and quiet. Included breakfast was just adequate. The restaurant had an extensive menu but very few vegetarian options. We ended up eating at other close by resorts. The beach was mostly washed away in a January storm but the ocean in front of the resort had crystal clear water. Compared to other parts of Thailand, Seafar was quite pricey but that’s to be expected on Ko Kood.

The resort look like typical island resort but their service and food are exceptional. The best thing for this resort is the price that is quite reasonable comparing to other resort on the island and the location is also great, the resort is beach front. Would love to visit Seafar resort again the future!

Two weeks in paradise”
We had an excellent stay in Seafar for two weeks! Po and her staff were amazing and pretty much everything we wanted was fulfilled. The pool was nice and the beach wonderful. Beach was very safe for children, and just after 100m of sand you could snorkel over beautiful corals. Kayaks and snorkeling gear were free to use, and provided fun daytrips. We visited Seafar during low-season so beach bar etc. were closed, but for us that was no problem. All together we would definitely recommend the place, and hope to visit it again!

We felt like in Disneyland in this beautiful Island. And the seafar resort was the perfect resort for us. Clean, friendly staff. And a treat beachbar Roth the best Barkeeper on Island :)
