The receptionists and securities at the entrance provided great service and immediately helped with luggage to the lobby. 2. The location is great and there are free VINBUS and SunWorld Shuttle Bus services nearby. 3. The hotel facilities are excellent, with an infinity pool and gym. The sunset view from the infinity pool is beautiful and perfect for taking many great photos. 4. The seafood buffet for breakfast and dinner is highly recommended. There were many types of seafood, including sea urchin. This is the best hotel to stay at in PQC.

When encountering employees who speak Chinese, it feels very friendly. All the employees have smiles on their faces and are much friendlier than locals in Taiwan. I only needed toilet paper for one day and had to ask three times in the lobby. It took over half an hour to receive it, so I may have disturbed the employee's rest at midnight. The breakfast had a variety of choices and was of good value. I hope the lady with short hair who makes omelets will smile more because I eat them every day. It happened that you were making them on Saturday and Sunday. The infinity pool is great for taking photos.

A so-so stay ”
I found our stay at this hotel to be a bit polarized. The staff who checked us in were less than friendly and were sticklers about charging $20/night extra for our 7-year old daughter. I tried to negotiate the price, given that we did not require extra bedding and the extent of our daughter’s breakfast was a bowl of cereal…. but the staff were not willing to negotiate a more reasonable fee. To off-set this experience, we had an amazing welcome from a Philippino woman who offered us a “welcome drink” and brought us to a cozy area while we waited for the check-in process to be complete. The Room…. The room was spectacular — a beautiful ocean view and exceptionally clean!! The Pool…. An infinity pool, overlooking the ocean. It was absolutely beautiful… especially at sunset. Having said that, the hotel was re-painting the building and half the pool deck was closed. There were a total of 38 lounge chairs available and on our 4-day stay, there were 2 days when we had to go without a chair. Despite having so few chairs available, staff did nothing about the people getting up early to save their chairs. The guy…. It was a basic gym but got the job done. The photos are not accurate on the website, as there are no windows and the gym is located in the basement. Also… despite the temperature being set to 20C on the air conditioning panel, the temperature was 27C in the gym. It was difficult to do a good workout in that type of heat. The restaurant…. A nice atmosphere. Breakfast included many western and Asian options, and the dinner menu was decent. The prices were not cheap, but were reasonable for a hotel restaurant. The beach…. The photos are a bit deceiving. The beach is not very big and is quite rocky. The photos make it look like a big, sandy beach. Despite the size, many people swam in the ocean throughout the day. There didn’t seem to be an issue with jelly fish. Location…. The hotel is within walking distance to the night market, which was nice. There is also a few great restaurants + a pharmacy + laundry services all within 2 blocks. Overall, we found the location to be good…. But we preferred the expansive hotels in the north, situated on many acres. If you’re looking for action, this is a great location. If you’re looking for a place that’s a bit more quiet, check out some hotels that are close to Grand World. Overall, we found the staff to be hot-and-cold. The folks who were friendly were very lovely…. But we found that many staff members were not particularly welcoming. A side note — If you are flying through Thailand, do not buy fish sauce in Phu Quoc. Sadly, ours was confiscated at the airport. There is no signage at the shops, hotels, or airport, telling people that they can’t bring fish sauce into Thailand. We were quite disappointed by this, considering how much the locals endorse the local fish sauce.
