Great place and location!”

I stayed in a Deluxe Garden Poolside Bungalow at the Secret Garden Resort in Samui for 3 nights in July and couldn't be happier! Friendly and helpfull staff and good food in the restaurant. The location is great right by the beach and harbour. My bungalow looked just like the pictures and was very spacious and modern. Housecleaning and service was great and I had everything I needed and more. There is also massage available right on the beach in connection with the resort. The lady there is very nice and the massage was great. All in all a wonderful stay and great value for money. I will for sure come back the next time I'm visiting Koh Samui :-)

Excellent staff, very well-kept facilities, strong amenities”

We really enjoyed Secret Garden, so actually came back and stayed twice. It is a very good value; the rooms / bungalows are very well-built and kept, with all the modern conveniences. The staff are fantastic, they go well out of their way to ensure you have a comfortable, enjoyable stay. The beds are the most comfortable we have seen in several years, to be honest; we should have taken the sheets off to see the brand! As a result, very relaxing, always woke up refreshed. The pool is kept clean, and the pool area is well attended. They have several lounges right on the beach, with full service from the restaurant / bar. The resto has a wide menu of Thai, western, and Chinese dishes, albeit it somewhat pricy considering the room prices. The service is quick, and the food was very good. Nearby there are several small stores, a few more restaurants, an excellent protein shake place right across the street, pharmacies, and several massage/spa places. All in all a very good choice.

romantic beach hideaway”

Our room in this quaint resort was a private bungalow overlooking the ocean with a half-outdoor restroom and shower. Step out of our room and you’re on the beach. The staff was amazing and we enjoyed our rainy days with patches of sun and view of the small fisherman’s village. Great little pool in the middle of the resort. We went during off-season (rainy) so the resort was very quiet and private. Wonderful bartenders mixing up those perfect vacation drinks. My husband enjoyed painting from the room with an ocean view. It was a fantastic beach getaway for a few days on Koh Samui.

Loved every minute. A must if you are in Koh Samui”

This little gem is located on a beautiful beach. Try and get one of the beach rooms as they look over the ocean. The rooms are clean, comfy and modern. The restaurant food is delicious and the staff are uber friendly especially Pad and Zarne. It is located in a quiet part of Bangrak perfect for relaxing and chilling out. I would definitely return having had one of the best stays ever. Thanks Secret Garden for a wonderful holiday.

Nice small hotel ”

We stayed at Secret Garden Beach Resort for 3 nights and really like the hotel. The staff is really friendly and helpful, location is ok, but beach in front is not the nicest one. Overall a good stay and good value for money.

Very Relaxing Stay”

There are absolutely no negatives about our stay at the Secret Garden. The lady at the front desk was outstanding, the food was good, the room was clean and the beach wasn't busy.

Excellent Hotel ”

Unfortunately we only stayed one night in this hotel as we were in transit, going to the airport in the morning. We wish we had more time here as the facilities were great, the room was very clean and comfortable. The food from their restaurant was amazing!!!! The beach in front of the hotel was not good and the location was not our favourite in Samui, we only chose this place because it’s close to the airport. But it’s really worth the money and they offer everything you need. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Wonderful break”

We really enjoyed our break at the Secret Garden. The staff were friendly, helpful and caring. The food was generally excellent although the breakfast was sometimes less than hot! Evening meals were excellent, especially the bar-b-q. The spare ribs were the best I have tasted for a long time.

Close to big Buddha pier ”

Nice resort garden and restaurant setting right on the beach. We mostly ate at the restaurants on the adjacent main road; the food was much cheaper outside of the resort. We are a young couple and there were hardly any other young people around, especially on the Sunday live music night.

Best hotel in samui ”

Price staff entertainment and roomare just the begining Been coming to samui for the last 6 years for work and stayed at banyan tree and other luxury resorts but this ine is a full package without the price and luxury Just perfect

By the beach but for amenities - I'd recommend you to rent a car during your stay on Koh Samui (wherever you're staying as taxis are expensive)

Pros: -Close to good beaches -Large bungalows -Beautiful views of the hotel's beach from the hotel restaurant -Nice grounds -Good price Cons: -Hotel beach has very sharp rocks under the water, you will cut yourself without water shoes -Hotel restaurant a bit expensive -Breakfast not included -Hotel can only arrange tours paid by cash, if you want to use credit card you need to arrange elsewhere

super resort! ”

Very nice, we wish we stayed longer! It had a nice pool and a nice beach with lounge chairs, massage rooms, and a dining and bar area. The rooms were very clean and the hotel staff were very helpful and nice. They offer motorcycles for rent too which was a bonus. The room had all the necessities needed and it was in a great location with many well priced restaurants and 711s around! Definitely reccomend staying here.

FANTASTIC stay ”

Our stay was very enjoyable. If ever in Koh Samui again we would definitely return. Place was nicely redone, was very clean and a pleasure to stay at.

Very nice accommodations”

Staff was very cordial and accommodating. Room was comfortable and very close to the pool and the beach. Restaurant prices were a little higher than other places and the menus was a bit limited to other places. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room and the restaurant and reception desk doesn’t open until 8:00am but that seems to be the norm on the island. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location close to the airport, friendly staff involved arrival, restaurant and bar was nice. ”

Ok so we we're recommended this hotel by friends in Koh tao. We as a couple both manage resorts on koh tao so understand the expectations of guests. On arrival the welcome was nice for 8 pm at night. The room was spacious and clean although we found a blonde hair and a dark hair on the pillow cases. There was also a dirty mark on the sheets. When we arrived there was a big sheet cover over the bed. We asked what time the restaurant was open until and they said 11 pm we opted to order around 10 pm the food arrived which was quite good and we had 3 glasses of wine each but were ushered out of the restaurant just at 11 pm after ordering our last glass which was 220 baht per glass only to have to take it to our room. We didn't like that too much low season or not. Lastly we didn't sleep very well as the pillows were really hard and my partner had to use her travel cushion, I just slept with out any. Breakfast good but small portio,staff exceptional and I really like the resort it's self.

Perfect for one night transfer ”

Great little hotel for a 24 hour stop over. Right on a nice beach and had a very expensive but nice bar and restaurant. Rooms were big and well priced, although they were really dark with blinds closed, so I hope the hotel can improve the lights. Would stay again.

Such a wonderful place! ”

Everything was great and fully enjoyed staying for 4 nights. The location is right front of the beach and easy to get to fishermans village where you can see lots of restaurants and massage shops. You'd better rent a motor bike as there is no sidewalk and it looks a bit dangerous to walk along the car roads. The staffs are so kind and the resort is really relaxing!

Nice beach location, good value ”

Resort is situated on a nice beach. Just off the main road so can be a bit noisy, but rooms are equipped with good air con and were very clean. Staff helpful. Restaurant overpriced, not surprisingly. Overall a good stay.

Best place”

Best place to chill in Samui with a great location right at the beach. Fantastic western and Thai food. I especially liked the breakfast menu!
