We, the group of four people, stayed at this hotel for one night and was genuinely impressed by the overall quality of service. The staff were courteous and professional, and the room met our expectations in terms of comfort and cleanliness. In many ways, it reflected the high standards we’ve come to admire about this country. However, our experience was overshadowed by a serious issue. Before check-in and check-out, we left our luggages with the hotel staff, trusting that it would be kept safe. When we later retrieved our bags, I discovered that a piece of my jewelry was missing. This was incredibly upsetting and unexpected. I’ve always held deep respect and admiration for the people of this country — known for their honesty, hospitality, and integrity. That’s why this experience was not only disappointing but also heartbreaking. I never imagined I would encounter something like this here. While I still believe this was an isolated incident, I strongly urge the hotel to review and strengthen its luggage-handling procedures. For future guests: please be mindful of your valuables, even when staying at a place with otherwise excellent service.
We stayed for a family trip. Both dinner and breakfast had a wide variety, so there were more options than we could try. The casual atmosphere made it easy to enjoy. The staff during check-in spoke a little broken Japanese, but they explained everything politely, which was very likable. The room had a retro feel but was comfortable. The large public bath amenities were good as well. Since both my daughters and I have long hair, we brought our own shampoo just in case, but we ended up not needing it. The parking lot was the second parking lot, but we were provided with a shuttle, so my husband went to park while my kids and I spent time in the lobby. The lobby was spacious and clean, so the waiting time was pleasant. It was a place I would like to stay at again. Thank you very much.
We stayed in a Japanese-Western style room, which was spacious and comfortable for our family of three adults. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets offered a great variety of delicious options. The onsen was soothing and refreshing—a perfect way to relax after a long day. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
This is the second time using it this year! The first time, the room was spacious, and the buffet was incredibly rich and delicious, which became my favorite. I decided to celebrate my friend's birthday at this hotel. I wanted to surprise them with a birthday cake, and when I consulted with the hotel, they responded very kindly. The hot spring water comes from Owakudani and feels really good. The welcome drink and sweets were complimentary, which allowed me to take a relaxing break. At night, we had a table tennis tournament that was exciting, allowing us to exercise and feel good! I want to use it again.

“I was very satisfied.”
I had mixed expectations based on various site evaluations, but in the end, I was very satisfied with the cost-performance ratio. The bath was a cloudy hot spring-like bath. There were no skincare products in the large public bath, and there were no rubber items, so you need to bring your own. There were many foreign staff members, but the front desk staff were more polite and pleasant than some Japanese staff. The breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious. Some sites mentioned a lack of variety, but I found that the amount was just right, and I was very satisfied. Having too many options would have been overwhelming. The popular dishes were genuinely tasty. The sashimi was made with delicious fish. The omelets and rice balls made right in front of you were also delicious. The desserts were somewhat disappointing. They were too sweet for the kids. The ice cream was delicious. My family loves table tennis, so we played both in the morning and evening. There were also many board games which made it lively. The building's age is undeniable, but the renovated areas were clean and well-maintained, allowing for a comfortable stay.
