Where to stay in Seogwipo
Seogwipo hotels & accommodations

I was going with my husband on a special trip. We come from far so we know it had to be a good place. I loved the view and the pictures from the hotel especially the pool. I packed so many swimming outfits to find out the pool was closed. It was so hot outside for the pool to be closed. I didn't even receave a warning about the pool situation. My husband was really di...

Me and my family stayed in this hotel for two days. It is a new hotel in Seogwipo and easy to find food. Walking distance within 10mins to Maeil Olle Market. Surrounding have a lot of shop for you to buy clothing. Hotel very cosy and good. Sleep well. Facilities standard and new. Housekeeping clean enough and refill mineral water everyday. Free Carpark very big at ho...

This hotel located not in the city. And even little bit hard to GPS, but still easy to find, just located beside Ramada Encore Seogwipo. We had been offer an upgrade to superior room, which was spacious. There were bakery at the lobby and a 7-11 besides the building, consider convenient. We love the stay with Ramada Encore Seogwipo East.

Hotel is strategically located where there are plenty of grocery store and restaurant within walking distance. Love the parking system they have (may be something common in Korea) where they help to park the vehicle into some sort of multi-layered car parking system. As a foreigner who is driving, I find it very hard to find parking in Seogwipo. This hotel parking syst...

The M-Stay hotel in Seogwipo, Jeju is a relatively new and comfortable hotel. It is reasonably easy to get to using the Airport shuttle bus, but Seogwipo is a long way from Jeju town and airport. There are no extra frills to the hotel, not even coffee in the rooms (but there is a convenience store and coffee house on the ground floor, no room safe and no universal powe...

It was one of my best in jeju-do. Colourful concept rooms and huge beds. There is a bar counter/kitchen and a living room! Very clean and neat. The white and red concept is really beautiful! The view is really awesome! Waking up with a scenic view is really a bonus! Price is really worth it as well! Highly recommend it for family or couples! Many good food around the h...

Group travel, and we had different experience with different room. The mountain view and ocean view family room are wonderful! feel like five star hotel with wonderful view. while a 2-ppl room has no view at all, a blue building is just 1m in front of the window.......and thus the room has no sunlight all the time..... but the hotel facilities is great, there's a smal...

Excellent! Love the big room, the toilet design, room amenities and the ocean view.Only restaurant is the hotel cafe, no convenience store nearby. Just 35mins drive to Mount Hallasan n nearby attractions in Seogwipo and Jungmun areas. Very scenic and peaceful surroundings. Highly recommended!

Location was well situated. It's within walking distance of a few attractions; Seogwipo maeil olle daily market, Cheonjiyeon falls, Lee Jung Seop street and to shops (clothing, cosmetics, pharmacies, convenience marts). There are also several bus stops close by. People at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, they took the time to answer all our questions, recommend...

We (three adults and two teenagers in two rooms) had a great stay at BK Hotel, Jeju. Located near restaurants, scenic waterfalls and a short walk from night street vendors, shops and an art street, it is indeed very convenient. Although only one staff was English speaking, the friendly and enthusiastic service makes up for any communications problem. Oh yes, some other...

We stayed for one night at this resort for exploring Seogwipo area. The location is quite strategic reachable from many interesting destinations. The swimming pool and river-trekking area was a nice added plus. I'd recommend this hotel for any visiting or transiting guests.

This property is a work of art. The view is breathtaking, and our room (HyeongJaeSum - deluxe double with balcony) was beautifully designed and well integrated with the natural surroundings. Breakfast in the cafe was also very good, and the staff was quite helpful and friendly. The general location is okay, though there isn't much around. (The resort is a few miles eas...

Very nice and clean rooms with a great view. The owner was also extremely friendly and catered to any of our needs without hesitation. If you are looking to sightsee in the seogwipo area it's probably the best hotel to stay at. There also 2 bus stops close to the hotel with numerous bus lines, so even without a car the hotel is accessible.

Excellent location in downtown Seogwipo near the market and several eating places. Very accommodating English-speaking staff. Comfortable bed and cool A/C (I stayed in a standard single room). And two common areas, one of which has a pool table! It's easy to explore Seogwipo and Jungmun from this area. You can also get to Hallasan easily by bus from here. They also re...

The room is spacious. With a large glass window, you are able to enjoy the view around the hotel. My room is facing the Saeyeon bridge, the night view is amazing when the Saeyeon bridge light on! Though it was only a single bed and a double bed, but it is large enough to fit 4 of us. Bed is comfy, washroom is spacious too. Oh, and a definitely plus plus point, opt the ...

I'd recommend this hotel to use as a base for exploring Jeju - it's far enough from the Seogwipo centre that the area's not really busy (so easy to navigate around) but not too far. The room was adequately sized and clean. The reception staff didn't speak great English but we didn't expect nor need them to. We didn't eat any meals at the hotel because there was a good...

Stayed 1 night here. Was a steal as only $50 for a twin room per night due to agoda deals. Room was clean and neat. Provided an amazing free breakfast for guests in the morning. Location was 3mins walk away from seogwipo market so plenty of food around to eat before it closes at 8pm.

While the location is away from Seogwipo but it's seclusion as with most pensions is its strength, especially those with a car/rental. Jenifer was a great host during our pension stay, she was very attentive and was even so kind enough to give us a lift to. nearby attraction so we could take advantage of walking the olle trail route. The room was great (we had the lowe...

We got a room overlooking the beautiful harbour and the Saeyeon-gyo bridge. The staff can’t converse much in english, you might need to use google translate. The location is walkable to Cheonjiyeon waterfall and the popular Rose Marin cafe which is situated right in front of the waterfront. There’s a laundry mat near the corner facing the main road, 3min walk away fr...

I stay at Slow City for a week, and they give free upgrade from 4-bed dorm to private room. Free breakfast (cereal, toast, milk, juice, butter & jam) every morning. Washing machine can be use for 3000won. They also have cloth iron, drying rack, electical adaptors, jeju guide books and map for anyone to use. Staff and owner is super friendly and helpful, going extra le...

This is a great place to stay, though keep in mind it is a little out of the way, being neither in Jungmun or Seogwipo, but awkwardly in the middle. The airport limo bus from Jeju Airport, fortunately, stops right outside the hotel, but to get to either Jungmun or Seogwipo, where most things are, you'll need a rental car, the bus or a taxi. That said, it's very peacefu...

The hotel itself is nicely decorated with animal statues which kinda makes it special. Location wise its right infront of a bus stop and next to a convinience store. Parking space is a little limited though. 3 waterfalls, Cheonjiyeon, Jeongbang and Seojongbang is near to the hotel, apart from the fact that hotel is located very close to Seogwipo harbour. Room was well ...

Generally, my stay at minjoonggak was good mainly because it provides a comfortable, clean and safe place to sleep in. Firstly, The staff is extremely friendㅣy and will go all out to help you, Even though he speaks little English, you can use signs or pointing to express what you wish. Even though the place may seemed difficult to reach (from Airport limousine 600), it...

I can't praise R Hotel enough. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, no query or question was too much for them. The staff all speak English and have many recommendations of places to visit and restaurants to eat at. Although breakfast is simple (toast, jam, eggs and fruit juice), it made a welcome change to Kimchi and rice! I can see that the hotel h...

The room was quite spacious, with all the amenities one would expect of a hotel room. The dining area offered coffee and toast for breakfast but you can prepare your own food, which we did by buying ingredients from the local market. The receptionist (Jin and her partner) were very helpful providing information during our stay including getting contacts for car renta...

Seogwipo, although an hour away from the airport, is where most of the attractions are. Hence, Kodakkodak Guest house provides good starting location point. The guesthouse provides free breakfast (bread, jam and coffee) plus two crate-full of Jeju tangerine await the guests. Help yourself!! You can cook your own meal if you feel like buying seafood from the nearby 5 da...

It is minutes away from the Dongmun Rotary station. The location is strategic enough for you to explore the beauty of Seogwipo has to offer (although it's a bit hard for a 'road blind' like me) . Staff spoke good English and was friendly enough to attend to your queries attentively.

Overall great guesthouse and good value. You're very close to the water and the view is great. Looking right at 'tiger island'. The neighborhood is quiet and a little isolated. However, its an easy bus ride/taxi to downtown Seogwipo only 10 minutes away. They don't make up your room but that's not a big deal. Breakfast was pretty good including toast, coffee, j...

Conveniently located in the heart of Seogwipo with easy access to the two waterfalls, right in the middle of the artistic Lee Jung Seob street and 5 minutes walk from the Olle Market. All the staffs were very young and friendly and makes the 1-week stay very enjoyable. Although mainly catered to Koreans, the other guests were young, friendly and considerate. I had a gr...

Great house with front and backyard. Living have balcony which can walk down to the front yard. Super clean worg nice furniture. Very friendly hosting with a lovely cat and dog. Ist floor is for guest while 2nd floor is for the host living. The lady host is a Korean who nake excellent muffin or bed for guest as breakfast everyday. The male host is a USA guy who is frie...

We got in to Jeju island rather early and arrived the hotel about 9AM. The owner mentioned we were early and check in is at 2PM. But after a few seconds, the owner's wife (I think) decided to let us check in which I think it's really nice of them as we were tired from an early flight in from Seoul. The moment we walked in to our room, we were really pleased with the ...

The sunset seaview were breathtaking, with such effortable price, you only able to found few resort or pension give you such view. Nearedt supermarket Emart, in two miles away. Staff extremely helpful,...

We were welcomed with a smiley receptionist and were given a free upgrade somehow. She was very helpful in giving directions to eateries. Room was very clean and cosy, love its simplicity and the partial ocean view. Good view of the sunrise over the beach.

I am happy for my trip and I don’t want to type lengthy comment so just the point form 1. The location for me is good as it’s quiet and it’ll more convenient if selfdrive 2. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and even had cooking facilities and utensils/crockery. The towels provided were small hand-towel-sized, so do bring your own bath towels. Bus stop is 10 mins away. Bus no 600 comes directly to the stop from Jeju airport. Breakfast was included. It was a Korean breakfast. I would have preferred bread and egg. I had to visit ICC Jeju which is at 5 mins walking distance. Hence I preferred this. Taxi to Jungmun beach takes 5 mins (around 3000 won). Room was clean. The host were really nice. It has a sea vi...

Expecting to have an aircond as the page of booking clearly stated aircond available ( with a green tick ), but when I come there, they said that aircond is centralised and it was switched off for the whole season (no aircond season so they say). But the other 2 hotel that I went across jeju island have aircond. (super bad as we have to open window if hot).

Located near to Jeongbang falls, Oedolgae rock, Hwanguji coast (natural swimming pool), Cheonjiyeon falls and other attractions in Seogwipo city. The room spacious ,clean, comfortable and well equipped. The staff also very friendly. Highly reccommended !

I stayed here for 5 nights for the Trans Jeju 2019 ultramarathon,. It is a clean, quiet hotel near the Seogwipo stadium. The owners are very nice and helpful. However, the air-con is probably old and not strong. 18deg on the monitor actually felt like 24deg.

The hotel is excellent to stay, new, very clean, hight tech, although unfortunately located in a very quite residential area, without bars or restaurants, far away from everything. However, next to the hotel is a good bakery with perfect baguette bread. A little further is also an E-Mart with a small food court. The only bad thing are the damn slamming doors of each ...

It’s in a pretty secluded area where noise traffic will never be an issue. It has a very fancy and cozy cafe right next door. If you have a vehicle, then it’s fairly close to everywhere you want to go and if you don’t, then public transportation is within a reasonable walking distance. I can’t complain about anything really because it was such a great experience. ...
