One of the best hotel i ever stay.”

We stayed here 3 night and i think this hotel give me very good experience in Bangkok. The room quite big, bed comfortable and they help us clean the room every day. Good location which is near by both BTS station and MRT station around very convenient if you plan to take public transport in Bangkok. A walking distance very near to terminal 21 shopping (inside the shopping you can find many foods and with very cheap price (30 bath for "phat tai" in the pier 21 food court). If you looking for night life there was soi cowboy street beside the hotel only and got one massage shop ,7-11 beside the hotel only. Very nice staff and speak good english she can tell you everything she know. I will definitely go back this hotel if i go Bangkok again.

Newly refurbished hotel in a nightlife location”

The Serene Asoke Suites is a refurbishment of the Welness Residence near the entrance to Soi Cowboy which has an active nightlife During the day, a relatively newer shopping center, Terminal 21 is across the street. The Asok underground and Sky train stations are at the corner so it really is a good location. The rooms have been redone and have a new feeling. My room was quite small but most adequate for a single traveler. Good value in a good location. I will return.

Thoroughly Enjoyable Stay”

I really enjoyed my stay at the Wellness Residence in Bangkok. I stayed in a deluxe room and it was very spacious with a high ceiling, clean and had an excellent view of the Sukhumvit area (especially at night). The location of the hotel is very convenient - right next to the BTS and MRT transport networks so travelling around Bangkok from here was very straight forward for a first time visitor to Bangkok. The hotel is also right next to a 7/11 store and opposite the huge Terminal 21 shopping mall and there are plenty of restaurant/bar options within a short walk of the hotel. The staff on reception were very friendly and welcoming. The only minor issues I had were that the lift was very slow and the TV reception in my room was poor but I would happily stay here again and hope to do so because Bangkok is a wonderful city.

I stayed at Serene Asoke Suites every time I came to Bangkok. This time I came with my wife because it's safe,clean and easy to travel. My wife enjoyed shopping,dining very much. Thai massage was very good after all day traveling outside. Lift is o.k. though it's a little bit slow but safe(Kone lift). All staffs are very helpful and friendly.Value for money. Will stay at Serene Asoke Suites always.

Good budget hotel in great location”

Great location in sukhumvit area near both the bts (sukhumvit) and mrt (Asok,) which was very convenient.  The terminal 21 mall across the street turned out to be our favorite shopping mall in the entire city (we visited almost all of them since it was so hot outside).  It is located near soi cowboy....like having a small pat pong next door without the ping pong shows.  Noise and safety were not a big issue. Cleanliness was good.  Wish they provided a do not disturb sign, since I don't care to have my room cleaned daily. Staff were wonderful and informative. A/c was good.  Elevator was broken and did not go to the fifth floor during our stay.  Tv in our parents room was not working properly.  None of these things are deal breakers.  Wifi was good, but could not stream videos. Bottom line:  good budget hotel in great location.  Would stay here again if no better choice.

I used to stay in several hotel in Bangkok and I think that the size of room of this hotel is larger than other budget hotels in the same area (asoke and sukhumvit) and price range (I stayed in superior room). Two bottles of water provided daily.Staffs were very friendly and helpful.The hotel is close to several shopping malls, restaurant( many restaurants in sukhumvit 23) and nightlife. Very convenient for foreign traveler who want to explore Bangkok. I would definitely book it again.

It was quite a nice stay. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. Room are clean and spacious. The hotel is located very close to BTS and MRT so it is very convenient to explore Bangkok in cheap price. It is close to nightlife and several shopping malls such as terminal 21. This hotel is unbeatable in this price range considering its price, location, room standard. I would recommend this hotel to others and would return here for sure.

Great value for money”

Location is the best in Bangkok. 7-11 next door and terminal 21 shopping mall is opposite the hotel. Rooms are good enough for this price (I did not expect 5 stars hotel for this price). It is very suitable for foreign travelers as it is convenient to travel around bangkok from this hotel. Staffs were helpful and friendly. I would recommend this little hotel to others.

I stayed at this hotel every time I came to Bangkok. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Location is very good, next to MRT Sukhumvit & BTS Asoke entrance which is only one stop from Makkasan airport rail link. Good for shopping and dining too,near Terminal 21, Emporium. Lift is a little bit slow but it's good and safe, Kone lift. Rooms are good enough, value for money.Will be back again.

We moved to this hotel after 4 days staying in another hotel in Sathorn. We really enjoyed our stay in this small hotel. The room is clean. The staff is really lovely, especially the receptionist. Located near Asork BTS and Sukhumvit MRT station, it is very easy to go everywhere in BKK from here. Nearby is Terminal 21, a trendy shopping mall. Emporium and the new luxury sister is just one station away, Phrom Pong. Shop 7Eleven is next to hotel. And the local food is just front of hotel, serving from late afternoon till midnight. For expensive dining you should go to Thong Lor, 2 station away, with many japanese restaurant and many trendy cafe along Thong Lor street.

I always came to Bangkok to see my relative and every time I stayed at Serene Asoke Suites because this hotel is a good budget hotel with great location. Staffs were helpful. They are my friends already. Lift is a little bit small but safe, from Kone company. This place is value for money.

We booked two rooms. one of the rooms lacked working hairdryer. overall we had a good experience especially when the staffs are so friendly and cheery. the elevator can be a little time consuming as only 2persons are allowed at one time. there is a massage place right beside the hotel which is very very good. as guest of the hotel, we get 10%off! location is very very good (other than it's right beside so I cowboy but it's nothing to be bothered about. I even went to see out of curiosity).hotel is right beside sukhumvit mrt and across asok bts and across terminal 21.easy access to anywhere. very convenient for short stays. decoration is quite dated but cleanliness and comfy bed overwrites it all.

Nice small hotel in excellent location”

i have experianced a very nice stay at this hotel. personally, i am very satified with this price. the room i stayed is traditional thai style with lcd tv, bathtub, kitchenette and safe box. there is no on-site restaurant but it is very easy to find nice restaurants in that area such as terminal 21(opposite to the hotel). moreover, it is very close to skytrain and underground train, so it is convenient to travel around bangkok without using taxi. overall,it was a nice stay. very good value for money.

As always I stayed at Serene Asoke Suites again when I came to Bangkok because of best location, value for money, good budget hotel and all staffs are friendly and helpful. This time I stayed in Deluxe room type. It's big enough and comfortable. Will come back again.

Good location, quiet room, excellent service”

If you’re looking for a comfortable but cheap hotel, you can’t go past this one. Excellent location, only a couple minutes walk to Asoke skytrain station or Sukhumvit subway station. The new Terminal 21 shopping plaza is over the road. Soi Cowboy nightlife is 20m away. 7 eleven and good Massage shop next door. Good size room with free wifi, coffee making and big TV if you need it. I will certainly stay here again. Staff were very helpful and efficient. No restaurant, but many dinning options within 5 minutes walk including 2 floors of food outlets in Terminal 21.

Best location”

Thiis hotel is just outside Sukhumvit MRT Station entrance but it's right next to Soi Cowboy. MRT & BTS at your doorstep! This place seems newly renovated - it's clean and bright and the doorman and reception are very nice. The elevator is neat, clean and worked fine, The room I had on L4 was at the rear and quiet, had only a narrow window but sufficient light. The shower/toilet is narrow too but sufficient for my needs - good heat and towels are provided. There is a tiny basin. The shower did leak slightly into the floor slightly. The bed is queen size on a platform w storage underneath was comfortable. The walkable area of the room is 1.2m wide and if you had a large suitcase, it may be a problem. The 50cm platform between the foot of the bed and the TV could be used for a small luggage. The hair dryer wasn't working and the reception and she said she would take care of it but it never happened in the 4D3N I was there. Would stay again.

Lovely hotel; good service”

The location of this hotel is fantastic, and the manager and staff were always very helpful - they even set-up a laptop and printer for me to print my boarding-pass! The room was very clean and had all the amenities. For night-life, it's right next to Soi Cowboy. For shopping, it's surrounded by malls, stalls and night markets. For business, it is right in the heart of the CBD. Despite the proximity to Soi Cowboy and two busy roads, the noise is not too intrusive, even from a room at the front of the hotel. Access to the hotel from the airport could not be easier or cheaper. Just Baht 70 by taking the Rail Link from the airport to Phaya Thai station, where you change onto the SkyTrain (Sukhumvit line) to Asok station. Taxi drivers will charge Baht400, sometimes more if they're feeling lucky. The hotel is less than five minutes' walk from Asok, but make sure you find the elevators as the stairs can be tricky with heavy suitcases. The only downside of this hotel was the reliability of the WiFi from the room - a bit hit-and-miss for both laptop and phone. Other reviewers' comments about the lift being slow are accurate, but it was not a big deal to me, even on the top floor. Just be patient.

1. Good location (near to MRT Sukhumvit & BTS Asoke station). 2. Friendly staffs. 3. Take Airport Rail Link City line, A1 (Suvarnabhumi airport) to A6 (Makkasan), 35 baht, journey around 25 mins,. Then walk to take MRT from Photohaburi to Sukhumvit station, 1 station,16 baht, exit 2, turn right to hotel. 4. Opposite Terminal 21 5. Taxi to airport around 60 mins ( traffic jammed in the evening) 6. Suggest to paste English label on the toiletries (Shampoo, shower cream & hair conditioners in Thai wordings) 7. Hotel under renovation on 2nd & 3rd floor. 8. Good Wi-fi & spacious clean room 9. Value for money 10. I will come back to stay again.

Friendly staff, clean & quiet room, great location”

The hotel itself is a small hotel but that did not bother us at all. First impression when we got there was that we felt welcomed, security guard promptly opened the door for us and help us with our luggages with a smile. The receptionist was lovely, friendly and helpful. The checking in-checking out were very quick and easy. Our room was a good size room and very clean. The hotel is on the main road but it was surprisingly quiet once we were in our room. Moreover the hotel's location is great for anyone who wants to go around Bangkok because it's so close to BTS( sky train) and MRT(underground train) Asok station, made it so easy for us to explore Bangkok without having to endure Bangkok's infamous traffic jam. We did not eat there so my rating on the food should not count but all in all for the price we paid we thought it was very good value and I would stay there again.

Pleasant Stay at Wellness Residence! ”

Surprisingly quiet and peaceful for being located on a busy main road in central BKK. Comfortable bed, kitchenette, roomy bathroom, Wi-Fi. Pleasant and helpful front desk staff. Other: The subway (MRT Sukhumvit Station) is under 1 min walk out of the front door -- turn left past the adjacent 7-11 and walk straight until you reach the “Interchange 21” bldg. (not to be confused with “Terminal 21” across Asoke Rd., aka Soi 21). The MRT entrance is on your left. You may also use the MRT underpass (under Asoke Rd.) to reach the BTS Asoke skytrain station (elevated train). The Wellness Residence is in an excellent, convenient location for use as a starting point for getting around town. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would stay again.
