There was an opportunity to stay for one night. At first, I thought of choosing randomly because it was convenient for travel, but once I stayed, I was very impressed. The staff were attentive and very friendly. The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had everything. There was a sitting area, water, and snacks provided on the top floor. Overall, everything was impressive.
I will return to this place if I am in Thailand.”
The hostel appeared to be a newly built structure that was well-maintained, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The floors were regularly cleaned, and the staff was friendly, cheerful, and always smiling. During my travels in Bangkok, I had a minor accident, and one of the male staff members offered to go to the nearest pharmacy to purchase medicine for me. However, I was able to do it myself, but I appreciated his willingness to help. The hostel was located behind the MRT, making it convenient for me to travel anywhere and saving me money. I highly recommend this hostel to everyone.

The three main exits require taking the elevator. Turn right into the alley and walk a few steps to reach the building. Everything is convenient and comfortable. Use a key card. It is close to Pad Thai Ghost Gate, Ong Ang Canal, On Lok Yun, and The Old Siam. All within walking distance. There are many bathrooms on every floor, separated for men and women. There is a relaxation room on the 5th floor, coffee and delicious snacks, a refrigerator, a microwave, and disposable utensils. Everything is very convenient and comfortable.

I chose to stay at Siam Subway Hostel & Cafe primarily because of 3 things: (1) it’s fairly new, (2) it’s location is strategic, and (3) based on older reviews, it is the best place to stay if you want a quiet place. It’s fairly new so the place is not yet run down. For a cheap price, you can get a simple room for yourself. Bathrooms are shared but I rarely had to wait for other guests. There are separate bathrooms for men and women, enough for everyone in the floor. Idk if it’s the right term, but the rooms are smart rooms (?) There’s a small screen where you can choose DND or “Make Up My Room”. They provide towels, slippers, and toiletries. Location was great because it’s in Old Town, Bangkok where there are lots of good restaurants. Some popular ones are On Lok Yun (for breakfast), Sae Phun, and Thipsamai. It’s also just a few steps away from the Entrance 2 of MRT Samyot Station. There are also nearby temples and parks. It’s in a quiet neighborhood so you can sleep soundly at night. The rooms aren’t soundproof, but guests follow hotel rules, so no one is disturbing anyone. 😊 Enjoyed my stay here! Only thing to note is that it doesn’t have an elevator so you have to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. It’s okay, though. I didn’t struggle as much as I expected hehe. I didn’t get to try the food from their cafe, but the iced Thai tea is good. 😊

The space itself is well-maintained and spotless, which made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They even allowed me to check in early after my early arrival in Bangkok, which was such a relief. I felt very secure here, as the rooms are protected by key card access, which added to my peace of mind. This hostel is a gem for any solo traveler looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay.
