i have recently visited Bangkok for the first time ever and have heard a new Marriott hotel just opened. stayed there on the 27th and the 29th of April and this hotel exceeded my expectation. it's located in Surawongse Rd near Bangrak area and was sandwiched by heaps of local markets around. for convenient, there are 2 supermarket across the hotel one called Big C a...

Stayed here for 4 nights in December. The hotel is located at the start of the silom rd. The hotel has recently been refurbished so the rooms have modern fixtures and are extremely spacious and comfortable. The was upgraded to a deluxe room by one of the very friendly check in staff. The rooms have a balcony that overlook the hustle and bustle of silom rd, it is perfec...

It was a quick over night stay for to settle some business in Silom area. Overal, thel room is very clean and I believe the hotel is either new or recently renovated. The hotel is right infront of a BTS, therefore getting around wouldn't be a problem considering the heavy traffic area of Silom. Underground parking space is very limited, if I remember correctly, there a...

We were very happy with our stay in Glow Trinity Hotel in Silom. The hotel has pretty much everything you would expect from a four star property. On the arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink and hotel staff took our suitcases up to our room. The room itself was very big (we had a superior room), with big bed as well as a small sofa bed you can sit on or lie o...

This hotel is perfect if you want to be the center of things I residence hotel in Silom is conveniently located around amenities and also great for food and walking around. Moving around from this hotel is very convenient it’s about 3.5 minute walk to the nearest BTS Station Chong Nong si BTS Stn. Indeed it’s not a five star property but it makes up for the cl...

I have lost count of the number of times I have stayed in this wonderful Silom hotel. Top notch facility and cleanliness. Location is hard to beat. Staffs are very all very trained with special mention to supervisor Yo for her most professional service. She is one of the best and friendliest frontline staff I have met. Kudos to all at this marvelous hotel!

My 10th stay this time. All my requested was fulfilled this time, and was given higher floor room and a welcome fruit platter, a surprise & delight. Eventhough the room is dated and there was construction at surrounding building fronting the hotel, this hotel is still my preferred hotel in Silom, and will stay here again in September.

The staff at Sofitel Silom Hotel was very nice an accomodating. The hotel itself was very elegant, both in public areas and in the rooms. The rooms are big, comfortable and well designed. We especially liked the big bathroom. We were a bit disappointed as we expected the hotel to be much closer to the skytrain than it really was.

I have stayed at the Siam Heritage twice in the last month. It is in a location that is close to everything. The staff are great and are always very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast is excellent with eggs cooked to order. The highlight of the hotel is the rooftop pool and garden. It is truly an oasis in the middle of the chaos of Bangkok! The pool is not lar...

Very nice hotel! Room is very clean, small but very modern. Restaurant is Italian, had a pizza nothing to brag about. The location is great for the price 2 minute walk to Silom, 5 to phat pong. 10-15 walk from Silom mrt just get a tuk tuk, I walked there and it was so hot, tuk tuk 30-50 baht depending on how much u want to haggle. Definitely stay again. No frills or ex...

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel in Silom area, this is one of the top choices. Great breakfast buffet, professional staff, facilities pool and gym are ok- but need a bit of upgrading. (still waiting 3 years after for the hotel to fix the spot lights in the pool area.) Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) the hotel is a bit empty due to everyone wanting to stay ne...

In Silom there aren't any 5 stars hotels, Le Meridien is definitely one shining star. Other than it's located in a popular area with lots of life (minus the seedy night life). It's actually very convenient, Not far away from sky train and metro. That means Bangkok is within easy reach and you can skip the horrible traffic jam. Room are very clean, well maintained and m...

We stayed 5 nights in this only one month old hotel. It's located in Silom and only a few minutes walk away from 2 MRT and one BTS station. There is a bus stop only a few meters away and taxis and Tuk Tuks are regularly driving by. A small market and several Street food stalls are accessible by foot. The staff is extremely polite and attentive. They try help with what...

we usually pick 3-4 stars when we travel, but holiday inn silom was on a great deal at agoda so we couldn't resist and dont repent it a single minute the hotel is huge with nice bog rooms and clean toilets. the breakfast was nice and it had options for the vegetarians too the only issue was the 30 minute travel to any nightsopt or shopping place. silom is central if ...

Location wise is perfect. Near BTS and MRT for moving around. Silom itself is a must visit place and this hostel is right in the middle of it. The hostel is well kept even though it is busy with guest. The interior is cool looking and interesting for those who are looking for some good looking property. Do check out the rooftop! Facilities are top notch. Coin operat...

Bally's studio suites Silom Hotel is really a good choice refer by my friend. It has a strategy location where I can easy access to the MRT and BST the two common public transport system in Bangkok. And it only took me 5 minutes to reach the stations by walking. Some more, you can do shopping in the morning in those nearby shopping complex, at night there is a permanen...

I wasn't expecting more at this booking as I knew that it is very low cost place and it's not a hotel with any star. I just wanted to have a place to stay in Silom which is walking distance to BTS Station and lot of food stalls nearby and where we can put our baggage and have at least our feet rest after long walks. But our room was upgraded for free and had restful sl...

Location : less than 5min walk to the nearest bts is Sala Daeng, nearest MRT is Silom. Both are within walking distance and along the walk way, it is full of local life, so many shops and road side stalls along the street. The street gets busy as early as 7-8am and the crowd subsided till around 1-2am. Convenient stores are every where. Zanotti restaurant is within ...

I travel for business almost 3-4 times in a month and usually stay at this hotel. I've tried almost all good hotels in Silom area and consider Novotel Fenix as one of the best in the same budget range. The hotel is mid size as compared to it's peers, located at one of the best locations and has range of all required facilities. What sets it apart for me is: 1. Attentiv...

I had one of my best budget hotel stay in silom Bangkok in this hotel. Got the room at an attractive half price during agoda promotion. The hotel is nicely tucked at a back street opposite Tawana hotel, right beside The Green massage (which I frequent a lot) Room is extremely comfortable (603). The super king bed was so comfortable it’s hard to get up in the morning. H...

The location was very accessible, though not along the major thoroughfare (which also prevents noise pollution). It's in the heart of Silom area, probably a hundred meters from Saladaeng BTS station, and less than 500m from Silom station. The lobby was surprisingly spacious, with outdoor tables/seating connected to Amazon cafe which is located in front of the hotel. Ho...

swiss lodge is strategically located in silom / saladaeng. it is just a 3 minute walk to the saladaeng bts station. you will find a variety of restaurants, stalls along silom / saladaeng. the hotel though is not new but it is well maintained and very clean. all their staff including their cleaners are very polite and well trained to serve your every single need. th...

Very pleasant and enjoyed. Very good location and easy access to main street Silom, which is very good as Saladaeng 2 Road is quiet but very near to main road Silom which is the heart of night market and nightlife. The concept of the room is simple, elegant and trendy. The room is spacious and comfortable in all aspects from bedding to bathroom. The price is very reaso...
Cheap places to stay in Silom

No surprise here. Very cheap hostel, almost a half price of others around. I don't understand why the Silom area is over priced compared to Skhumvit. The place was clean with basic facilities. Clean washrooms/shower, huge comfy bunk beds with curtained privacy. The aircon ok except they have 12-6pm shutdown period but most of time I was out anyway. Great food and che...

Positive: 1. Location is very convenient: 10 mins from MRT Hua Lamphong and Railway station; 10 mins walk from Pier Si Pha Ya Pier and River city ; 8 mins walk from bus station; there is a 7-Eleven near the hostel, about 100 meters. 2. Facilities: There is a fridge on 2nd floor and 3rd floor. I love the roof balcony on 4th floor with great view. Negative: 1. About t...

Due to plans falling through elsewhere in Thailand we ended up in Bangkok much earlier than we planned and thankfully Foresttel was available for the days. The facilities are really nice and although you don't get a private bathroom, the shared bathrooms were clean and never occupied when we needed them. I loved the cafe downstairs and got a lot of work done. It's kind...

Definition of cheap and cheerful. Staff are AMAZING. By far the most helpful we came across in our month in Thailand. Location is second to none if you want to be in the city away from the backpacker central. Super close to all the amazing highlights Bangkok. Would more than recommend :)

The location is great, near to everything in Silom & a short walking distance to MRT & Skytrain. Whoever commented the place was dirty & horibble, that was probably before the renovation. I was sceptical at first when I booked for the place but chose to risk it because of the great price & location. But when I arrived, I was greeted by a sweet & friendly receptionist a...

I booked the hostel at 8. My tuk tuk couldn't find the hostel and I had to become his navigator. Frustrated my tuk tuk left me nearby. Hostel is situated in a dark alley. Upon arriving the checkin desk was empty. But I called the "emergency contact number" the check in procedure was quick. The bed room was clean and size of the bed was big for a single person. Locker...

It took 10-15mins from Sam yan Mrt station, this area is quite near from Silom and Siam. Good location. wifi is quite strong, but you need to update ID and PW every 24 hours. They clean the room everyday, it's really clean and secure. You can excess the room, entrance and using kitchen by card key, so it's so secure. The towel can be borrowed from hostel with 100baht d...

Staffs are nice, fun to hang around with. Didn't quite like the location at first, but grew used to it although only spent two nights there. Quiet street, safe to walk back from Silom party area 3 in the morning. No towel and pad lock for locker provided. Down sides. Water supply disruption after midnight; had to go to bed all sweaty. All in all love this place. Wou...

Pros: Good location in Silom near great street food (Silom Soi 20 across the street), and also next to a hindu temple and mosque. Cheap DIY laundry - probably the cheapest I've seen anywhere in SE Asia. Interesting map theme. Cons: No window in room. Only 1 gender bathroom per floor so you may need to go up/down to use the bathroom.

if you are a first-timer here in bangkok and you are looking for a cosy, friendly, cheap, strategically-placed hotel, I-sleep Silom is the best hotel you could ever ask for. Great ambience, vibes, service. Definitely a place to come back to. #LetsGetLost

An ultra modern, boutique and very stylish hostel - that is impeccably clean. And has some of the best facilities I've seen since staying in Thailand - and I've stayed in a lot of places. The shower/ toilet is large and very clean - it has a waterfall shower head, and then a side attachment - which was awesome. **Hello pressure** You have free shampoo/ body wash and bi...

Why I say the best hostel to stay in Bangkok? (Btw, we stayed five days there) 1. They have all your essentials as a traveler/backpacker which can now exclude to your baggage/hand-carry while traveling (less weight 😛). They have towels, shampoo, body wash, hair dryer and slippers. They have also flat iron and weighing scale to make sure your baggage does not exceed yo...

Highly recommended! Best location which is in Silom. Best helpful staffs. You have your personal space in your own bed/cube. Brand new hostel in the heart of Bangkok. Great comfy BED. Wifi is good. Clean toilet and shower area. You have your own BIG locker. FREE breakfast! Best of all its very affordable. My only complain is that I stayed one night only! I should ...

I’m traveling since 5 month, and it might be one of the best hostel I ever been. The view from the roof is so nice, there is at least 2 free bbq/week, and of course, Brian and Sky are the best host from far, who will give you nice tips to go around Bangkok and thailand. If you’re also looking to stay in peace and just chill, this is also a great place for that. I wou...

I had stay at Ekanek just for a night because I had things to do in BKK. Staff were very friendly, room and bathroom are very clean with also a nice light breakfast included in the price. Eventually it is located in the city center of Silom and Sathorn. Recommended! Thanks:)

My stay in Nine Silom Hotel was wonderful. The staff were nice, the place was well-maintained, and the location of the hotel is accessible. The hotel is also secured. We were given two keys (one for the foyer and one for the room proper). Both can be locked. We were also given a proximity card which was used to open the door going upstairs where the rooms are. The be...

Our room was small but sufficient. They had picked nice furniture to fit the room. It was clean, so was the shared bathroom on the hallway. The owners gave us good tips on how to get around in Bangkok and to the airport. Located just off Silom Road it was still very quiet and we liked how close it was to a Skytrain station. The place was difficult to find for the ...

Out of all my options, this is the best decision I've done. We booked the Classic King Bed - it comes with an external private bathroom, but didn't feel weird/open at all! It's like we own the whole floor! It, indeed, felt private. The money was worth it, we get to have a really clean, cozy, and fun place! There's free coffee, bicuits, and cookies in the lobby. We even...

I was here for a couple of nights as a backpacker. This place is a gem. The staff are great and friendly, the place is clean, aircon works perfectly, there is a night market within immediate walking distance, wifi works perfectly fine in the lobby and rooms. The main things I wish were there were a restaurant or food service (for convenience) and lockers (they do have ...

I had travelled to Bangkok with my friend and we decided to stay in a hostel for a new experience. The thing that stood out about Cloud Hostel was its interior design and communal living concept. There were spaces where we could interact with other travellers. The best thing about this hostel stay was the fact they provided free breakfast every day from 7:00am - 10:00a...

i have always stayed at this hotel when it was the manohra hotel because of its great location to river city, the oriental hotel, and the royal orchid sheraton, and its very reasonable rates. i admit, it was pretty plain, but you got your money's worth at the bargain price. since then, it has become the ma hotel at twice the price with its recent renovations and i ...

Our last visit to Thailand lasted for five days and we stayed at the Serene Silom Hotel. This was our fifth time to stay in the hotel over a tqo year period. I work/live outside of Bangkok, so when I want to treat myself and stay in a decent hotel in the Silom area, I stay at the Crowne Plaza. I am always amazed with the professionalism of this hotels staff (clerks, waiters and waitresses, cleaning staff,manager..) This is a new hotel in the Silom area and is well worth its 5 star rating. Other reviewers have commented on the staff (professional & friendly), and this is certainly the case. The location is great as it provides a nice balance between the night-life of Silom, but the quietness to escape the crowds when needed. Plenty of dining choices around and the selection of ...

A real home feeling, spacious and so well equipped (huge wall-mounted TVs) with very nice furniture. Great bed and no noise even so in the very lively center of the city. At 5 minutes walk the 2 subways (sky and underground), very practical to escape Bangkok traffic. Nice view too. We will be back.
