"The staff at Sofitel Silom Hotel was very nice an accomodating. The hotel itself was very elegant, both in public areas and in the rooms. The rooms are big, comfortable and well designed. We especially liked the big bathroom. We were a bit disappointed as we expected the hotel to be much closer to the skytrain than it really was."

"Stayed here for 4 nights in December. The hotel is located at the start of the silom rd. The hotel has recently been refurbished so the rooms have modern fixtures and are extremely spacious and comfortable. The was upgraded to a deluxe room by one of the very friendly check in staff. The rooms have a balcony that overlook the hustle and bustle of silom rd, it is perfect if you are a smoker and don't like to smoke indoors like me. The hotel has an amazing breakfast one of the best that I have seen in Thailand and I have stayed in close to 20 hotels in BKK alone. The hotel also has a beautiful roof top pool with sweeping views of the city. I had noticed some people complaining that the hotel is near a cemetery. I don't see why this would bother any one, I found the cemetery quite beautiful and would always adire the view while waiting for the lift. I think the only thing i did not like about this hotel was that the wifi was not complimentary. I find that most hotels on silom rd charge for wifi. It is 500 baht per day and can be used in the room which is great. I have stayed at two other hotels on silom rd that charge for wifi that you can only use in the loby. over all a lovely stay. It is in walking distance to a BTS station Chit Long from memory and is about a 10 minute walk to the night market and red light district. There is a taxi mafia guy outside the hotel that try's to inflate taxi and tuk tuk fairs so if you need a taxi make sure you ask the security or bell boy to wave one down for you and they will turn their meter off for you. My blood would boil every time that old man would try and get my attention. enjoy your stay!"

" This hotel is perfect if you want to be the center of things I residence hotel in Silom is conveniently located around amenities and also great for food and walking around. Moving around from this hotel is very convenient it’s about 3.5 minute walk to the nearest BTS Station Chong Nong si BTS Stn. Indeed it’s not a five star property but it makes up for the cleanliness of the rooms the Friendly staff and their efficiency I specially like having breakfast on the roof top when you get a decent view of the city. I would highly recommend staying here and I will definitely stay there again myself "

"Best hostel i have ever stayed at around the world! it is beautiful and that price i mean wow! couldnt have asked for a better value for your money! The staff are some of the kindest people in Bangkok, with offerings of food, suggestions, advice, translating, good times and laughs! it doesnt get any better than Warm Window Silom. The place is in a great location, the rooms are updated and chic. The place is amazingly clean and these people are some of the hardest workers around but still invite you to sit and have a meal and bond like a little family!! Pro-tip the rooftop deck is amazing! We have our own pocket projector and we watched movies under the night sky every night. This is an amazing hostel and I can't enough good things about the Warm Window Silom crew and the lovely environment they have created with this buisness endeavor! 10/10 would recommend!!"

"This is a new hotel in the Silom area and is well worth its 5 star rating. Other reviewers have commented on the staff (professional & friendly), and this is certainly the case. The location is great as it provides a nice balance between the night-life of Silom, but the quietness to escape the crowds when needed. Plenty of dining choices around and the selection of 2 BTS stations about an 8 minute walk to either. The sky bar and pool is a great place to dust off the days events and survey the Bangkok night sky-line. Great staff and amenities and great choice for a stay in Bangkok, look forward to a return visit so. "

"We didn't have high expectations because of the price we paid but boy, were we surprised. Although not in a fantastic area and not a great deal in the immediate vicinity, the iSanook is clean and bright, our room was a very good size with a VERY large bed, plenty of draws and hanging space, tv (that we never even switched on) a good sized fridge/freezer, a safe in the wardrobe and a clean light bathroom with one of the best showers that I have had in ANY hotel. The pool area was clean and fresh towels were always on the sunbeds and the pool itself was clean and inviting. Our one concern was the tiles from the buildings to the pool and around the pool area itself were VERY slippery when wet and one of our party slipped on the steps coming down from the pool and ended up with a HUGE black bruise on her butt, not a pretty sight a week later in a bikini on Bondi !!!!!! That aside, the staff were fantastic, with information on just about anything you needed to know for your trip to Bangkok and the free hotel tuk tuk (outbound from the hotel only) made up to some degree for the "not so perfect" location. We never ate at the iSanook apart from breakfast which was standard hostel food with cereals, toast, jam, yoghurt, fruit, eggs (boiled and scrambled) sausages and the usual Asia thing of a rice or noodle dish. They did have a pretty good menu for main meals at reasonable prices, it was just that we were out for most of the day when we were there so tended to eat then. Now the big question.......would we stay there again.........yes, yes, yes. We are both usually "four star hotel people" (59 and 54) and only started trying hostels since attempting to keep up with a daughter travelling the world with her boyfriend and them being on a tight budget, but I can honestly say that the iSanook is one of the best wev'e stayed in for the price and if your a young "whipper snapper" dont be put of by "us oldies" staying there, it was mostly young travellers. !! "Somebody suggested me the Heritage Silom hotel because it just opened recently and I'm really glad I listened. The hotel is pretty new, hence the room, restroom, and hotel in general was in an amazing condition. Very clean, very new, concept. The bed mattress was a little hard, but meh, it's a 3 stars hotel. Aside from that, rooms have free high-speed wifi which is always a nice feature. Food wise, the food was excellent, and surprisingly cheap for a hotel. Most hotels will charge you a lot more, knowing that people get tired and don't want to leave the hotel. Not the Heritage. The prices were almost the same as in the street, and the quality of the food is just excellent. On top of that, the free breakfast, served as a buffet, was also fairly amazing. They vary the food a bit from day to day, so you don't get bored eating the same thing, and they always keep it warm and fresh. Location wise, I really enjoy Silom. It's not for everyone, as it might be a little dirty at times, but the shopping centers, night bazaars, and ridiculously cheap restaurants in the area make it so magic to me. There's something about walking in Silom at 2 am looking for food and cheap designer clothes that I find simply amazing. You can also find grocery stores and ATMs everywhere, and if you're looking for a bar, there are probably more than you can handle. Money wise, I was really surprised. The room was cheap, the food was priced honestly, and the hotel bar's got happy hours at 50% off hehe. The only expansive thing was the wine, which was charged at a ridiculous price, but it's like that in most of Thailand as it's not a big wine drinking country. Finally, I booked a deluxe room for a week, and I wanted to stay another week at the end. I booked several hotels throughout Thailand and let me tell you, this hotel deserves an extra star. Some people will bitch about the low IKEA-ish quality of the interior, but hey, at least it's clean! Don't listen to them, just book a room and enjoy "

"Very nice hotel! Room is very clean, small but very modern. Restaurant is Italian, had a pizza nothing to brag about. The location is great for the price 2 minute walk to Silom, 5 to phat pong. 10-15 walk from Silom mrt just get a tuk tuk, I walked there and it was so hot, tuk tuk 30-50 baht depending on how much u want to haggle. Definitely stay again. No frills or extras but very good hotel!!!!! Thanks RPS staff. "
