Older hotel needs renovations, but guests still enjoyed the stay and appreciated positive aspects.

This Hotel is great for its location in Silom and they have clean cozy rooms for a good value. The larger rooms and suites are the best. The breakfast buffet is hearty and delicious and I was always stuffed afterwards. I've stayed here many times and usually check on this hotel first when I travel to Bangkok, usually twice a year. They have a nice outdoor pool and very good indoor gym with lots of machines and weights. Only (minor) problem is that some still get confused with the name of the hotel since it used to be called Siri Sathorn, nor is it to be confused with the other Quarter Silom Hotel (same chain different location). The correct name is QUARTER SALADAENG!

The location is incredibly convenient — tucked away on a quiet street but just minutes from BTS Saladaeng and MRT Silom stations, with Lumphini Park and lots of local food options nearby. This might not be ideal for those looking to be within walking distance of Hong Kong's main attractions. Room: I stayed in a suite that was quite spacious, which was a pleasant surprise. However, I did notice that the furniture was made of melamine and appeared to be quite worn. While the room met my needs and was a good value for the price, the photos on the website were somewhat misleading and did not accurately depict the condition of the furnishings. Service: The staff at The Quarter Saladaeng by UHG were exceptional. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, helpful, and always available to assist with any questions or needs I had. The concierge provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. “Still a Favorite with Exceptional Staff, But Needs Some Updates”
We’ve stayed at The Quarter Saladaeng by UHG around 30 times since 2020, and our recent 2-night stay reminded us why we keep coming back. The staff continue to be outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The spacious rooms remain a highlight, and we especially love relaxing in the bathtub after busy days in Bangkok. That said, the property is starting to show signs of wear and tear, which is noticeable even inside the rooms. Additionally, the quality of the buffet breakfast has declined quite a bit since our earlier visits. While these issues don’t overshadow the great service and comfortable rooms, they do bring down the overall experience a little. We hope the management invests in some updates soon, as this is still one of our go-to hotels in the city.
