“Spacious palatial property but old”
A good property but lack of upkeep is hurting it. The biggest concern is AC cooling efficiency- we stayed for 4 days and on first night, the room remained very warm with 18 degree set up for 8 hours. Next day it got a bit better as the card was continuously inserted for uninterrupted power. When we came back from our tour, upon entering the room it felt very cool but within 10-15 minutes the feeling was gone. The night was better than previous night but the room did not cool down to a comfortable. Some Good things: 1. Very spacious and palatial feeling 2. Excellent buffet breakfast 3. Very clean Not so good: 1. AC efficiency is really bad and the control panel tells how old the whole AC system is. 2. Being a 5 star facility, the bathroom supply is very minimal- just two small tubes of shower gel and shampoo.! There is no Conditioner supplied!!! For two people, and need for taking bath at least twice due to hot weather you run out of both shampoo and shower gel very quick. 3. It’s a huge property with long corridors and there are only 2 lifts. Our room was at the other end of the lift! 4. Really not value for money. At best a top 3 star property.
