The Son Hoi Boutique Hotel is just a far enough away from the old town (5 min walk max along the river) to be away from the maddening crowd. It is such an attractive building, so from an architectural sense its delightful. In addition the staff, rooms, facilities are equally exceptional. the breakfast offering is really first class with such a diverse range of food types, its hard not to over do it as everything is really yummy. The staff could not be any more helpful and the use of free hotel bikes was a real blessing as we explored so much more than we would have on foot and you can only wander the old part of town so often. The hotel pool is really good, big, clean and refreshing. The rooms were big, exceptionally clean and the beds were great quality with linen and mattress top rate. I would strongly recommend this hotel as it provides a really lovely sense of calm away from the somewhat more busy hustle and bustle of the old Town whilst only being a stones throw away. 5 star on all levels.

A beautiful boutique hotel”
This beautiful hotel have the best shower (hot water available and the pressure is strong). The bed is also very comfortable. There’s also a pool. Breakfast is reasonable too. Just note that the hotel is located amongst residential area & an abandoned hotel ‘Cozy Villa’, it is 10mins’ walk away from the city square/ historic sites. But you can use the hotel’s bike for free which i did. I would recommend this hotel for any young couple.

Great place to stay! ”
The hotel is only a couple months old. Very clean and modern and the staff were extremely friendly. Recommendations would be more lighting in bathroom (maybe it was just our room, #508). Also it would be nice to have 4 pillows on the queen beds instead of just two. Minor things but would make a difference in my opinion. Food was great and everything else was lovely. About a 5 minute walk to get into the core of hoi an, but they provide complimentary bikes as well if preferred not to walk. Loved staying here!

Most charming hotel in Hoi An”
This was definitely the best place we stayed in Vietnam (Saigon, Phu Quoc, Da Nang). Super charming and comfortable, helpful staff, and a chilled pool that was so refreshing to come back to after a hot day. Only a 10 min walk to the old town, free bike rental..honestly I cannot recommend it more highly.

Tastefully decorated cozy boutique hotel”
Loved this place. So much attention to detail in this funky well designed chic hotel. Staff was above and beyond in terms of helpfulness and communication. A nice oasis from the traffic and volume of the more crowded tourist areas, but close enough to walk everywhere. Highly recommended. Wish they opened sister branches in DeNang and Hanoi.

Lovely hotel on walking distance from the buzz”
Very nice hotel, beautifully maintained, speckless room with everything I needed. The old town and touristy buzz is 5min walking, if you rather lay low and eat local, walk 5min in the opposite direction. Staff is very attentative to your every need from the moment you arrive until the moment you have left.

Wonderful hotel in a superb location.”
The hotel is as pretty as what you see in the pictures. The biggest advantage is its closeness to the Hanoi Old quarters. Most of the important locations in Hanoi are in walking distance from the hotel and you can get tour operator/spa/tailoring options from nearby stores. Do not opt for the tour choices suggested by the hotel as they seem to be easy overpriced.

We had A wonderful time at this hotel, we even booked one more night while staying there. Room was very nice, hotel was clean and staff was great. The hotel had free bikes and we also rented scooters for a low fair.

THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST HOTEL IN VIETNAM. WE LIKED THE DECORATION & FURNISHING. LOCATION OF THE HOTEL IS GOOD & VERY NEAR TO JAPANEASE BRIDGE & MARKET. FOOD & STAFF WERE ALSO VERY NICE. OVERALL I WOULD RECOMMEND TO STAY ONCE AT THIS HOTEL.

Great hotel”
I loved this hotel and would return for the good room but would recommend they check their cleaning as we found previous people left food in the room and our tub wasn't cleaned everyday. The breakfast needs variety as it was rice paper dishes everyday and hardly any veg option as salads also have fish in so perhaps less yucky rice paper and add some veggies and hot coffee not icey cold. But overall this is an amazing location and great hotel

Exceptional”
Had such a pleasant stay at Son! Location is quiet and a short walk away from the main Old Town area. Room and bathroom were clean, staff were so nice and friendly. They also have free bicycles for hotel guests :) The bed was abit hard but it’s not a deal-breaker for me!
