Exceptional”
had such an amazing stay in Pai. I was only supposed to stay at SuanDoi for 3 nights then head back to Chiang Mai but decided to stay an extra 2 days. I stayed in the double twin bed because I wanted privacy and A/C, beds were very comfortable. definitely inexpensive for what you get! This place is perfect if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of town as its off in woods, yet a perfect 5min scooter ride from Walking street! And if you dont feel like going all the way to town for a Chang, there is a bar right on the grounds that serves beer and liquor. The hostels grounds are really nice with lots of trees and little nooks for you to sit around and read a book or something on a laid back day. My favorite part abot this place though is the people. The staff are so, so friendly and sweet. Enjoyed waking up in the morning and grabbing coffee and seeing some of the family hanging out, they always greeted me with smiles and a good morning. I hung out with Jü (bartender) and Anand (boyfriend of one of the women there) more than with other backpackers. They helped me out alot with finding places to eat and places to go see. Jü even took me out to see a waterfall and the bamboo bridge. The atmosphere alone will definitely sway me to stay here again when im in Pai! I will be back for sure!

Amazing Stay ! ”
I loved this place, i booked for 1 night but then extend for 3 more nights. The place made me feel very comfortable and accommodated the family who's running the hostel are very kind and respectful. The dogs are very playful and happiest dog that i have ever seen. This place is not a party hostel at all but they got a bar that you can drink if you want to get blackout but need safe here they will got your back and look after you. Cant wait to come back again, Thank you Suandoi keep up your hard work !!

Nice, Clean, Friendly, and Great Value for Mone”
This resort is located just 1.5 km from Pai City centre. Though, you still need your personal transportation. The room is big and great value for money. Also, come with a buffet breakfast. Recommended for every kind of tourist.

Nice view with low price”
Good: The location is not far from Pai walking street and the view of this resort is good for relax yourself. But i not recommend for people who cannot drive the motorbike because this resort is far for walk or and a bit tried when climb up a small hill. Poor: I smell the moist and fan is loud. By the way, if I go Pai again... i will book here.

this hotel is locate at the center of pai. inside hotel has a lot of view that can take a photo such as waterfall , river and mountain view. the hotel really close to wat phratatmayen that is the signature of pai and can see pai view.many resturant locate around hotel and the hot pub also near the hotel too.

Very good”
Great place to chill and have a break from the tourist-packed town center! We had free morning yoga classes (not always available), and free breakfast, which were really great surprises! Rooms are quite decent with a lot of space and thick mattresses. Insulation isn’t ideal, and it gets COLD during the night. We suffered during the first night, but the next day we asked for a second blanket and slept quite comfortably. I recommended going through this step BEFORE the suffering ;) Toilet sometimes had a nasty smell, but it was bearable. Also toilets are “outside” so they also get really cold in the evening and morning! And the showers aren’t that hot, so take that into account. Moreover, there was a really decent restaurant with good prices and a different activity every day. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely come back!

Affordable luxury”
The room was fine, just that there is no toilet paper in the toilet, we had to bring in the tissue paper box from the room. The bathroom has a tree and is partially open air. The window grille in the bathroom is not very high, so tall people might be able to peep in. No breakfast included but for this price range, I don't mind. The compound of the hotel is a bit too dark at night, scary when there aren't many guests. They should add more lightings. Overall, nice place and good price.

Beautiful and cheap privates”
Suan Doi was definitely a "backpackers resort". It was full of lush green plants and trees and a stream with little water falls. The only thing is that there is not a good view of the valley or of the mountains. Just a very tiny one where you can't watch the sun rise or sun set. The breakfast is very very basic. Just white bread, a little of cheap jam and one egg or fried rice. But for the cheap private room with aircon, if stay again.

it was a pleasant and easy stay. The staff is friendly and help you if you ask. they are there but you have to approach them by yourself. So, this has advantages that they leave you in peace and do not bother you with organised trips etc... Comfortable rooms and good prices!

Quiet Location and Helpful Staff”
Stayed for 1 week over Christmas. The location is 10 minutes walk from centre however this ensured that it was quiet and the stars were wonderful. The owner upgraded us and refused to take additional payment. The room was large with a big comfortable king size bed. The resort has a pleasant stream running through it to lull you to sleep.

We stay in one of the deluxe bungalow with the view, we love the room alot the bed very comfortable and the atmostphere very calm. Staff very respecfull they will let you get along with yourself but will always there whenever you need them. They got a very nice bar and very good food at the restaurant, try their Pad Thai you will not regret !!

decent hotel for the price”
A little outside of town, but not a long walk. Bungalows were cute but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. There are holes in the walls and it got very cold at night. Staff was nice and helpful, drove us to our next hotel.

Showers were warm. Has a fridge. Beds were decent. Balcony is nice with sound of waterfall behind it. A/C worked. Not a short or long walk to walking street, away from loud noises.

The surroundings of the hostel is beautiful, and it’s a nice place to relax - the food here is also good. The staff are polite. The beds aren’t very comfortable and it’s quite far out of the centre - I’m sure it would be fine if you ha d a motorbike
