Nicely decorated hotel with helpful staff”

    Decoration, Pool, Big rooms

We stayed two nights at the Sukhothai Treasure and this place was great. If you arrive by bus to the Sukhothai bus station, you should definitely take the "soorn-tââ-ou" bus (20 baths) and not a taxi. It will drive you to the historical park but ask them to stop you at the hotel which is on the way. Once you arrive, somebody's gonna come and pick up your bag at the entrance of the resort. We've been given a short lift in a small golf car. Then we've been offered a refreshing lemongrass cocktail while checking in. Concerning the room, we stayed in a superior one and it was really great : large bedroom with a very nice king size bed, terrace facing the rice fields, nice bathroom with bath and shower... you will also appreciate the 3 free bottles of water each night. Cleaning was done every day. The only problem with this hotel is that it is located between the new city and the historical park, there is nothing to do around the hotel. That means you'll have to order a taxi if you want to have dinner in the new city or anywhere else. Still the hotel has a restaurant which is quite good (breakfast is OK also). You will also appreciate the free shuttle service to the historical park (just ask the reception). I would definitely come back to this hotel if I wanted to visit the Sukhothai historical park and enjoy the end of the day in the pool or just chilling at the spa of the hotel.

Best hotel so far in Sukhothai!”

My family visited Sukhothai Treasure Resort and Spa during our trip to Chiangmai. Well designed and great ambience in common spaces. Our room (2 connecting superior rooms for 4 persona) was very spacious and big enough to accommodate 4 people. They provided everything we need. Staffs were helpful and friendly. Responding so quickly to all of our requests. Worth every baht we paid!!!

    Great hotel with huge rooms”

    Huge rooms, great service

We only stayed at Sukhothai Treasure Resort and Spa for one night after an afetrnoon at the temples but it was enough time to enjoy what the hotel had to offer. The location is about 10 minutes from the old town and temple sites by car. The hotel itself is set amongst rice fields which provide for a beautiful backdrop and its nice to see the sunset and rise over the paddies. The superior room was huge and easily fit an extra bed for the kids, could have fit another 2 if you needed to, this was a bonus for us as the kids had room to move around after a long day in the car. The bathroom was also big and had separate bath and shower. The room in general was clean and well presented and came with free access to the mini bar - water, coke, chips, biscuits. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was good, a decent selection of Thai and Western dishes and pretty good cocktails. Breakfast was average with mostly Thai dishes on offer, but there were the usual eggs, toast etc and coffee was pretty blah. The pool was big and spa jets on the sides were nice addition. We didn't try any of the spa treatments due to time constraints. I would stay here again but as a stop over not as a resort stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, room service was quick, welcome drink on arrival, and extra attentive to the kids during meal times in the restaurant.

Worth money with spacious room & great location”

Good price. Very spacious & well equipped room. Great location as it only takes 5 mins to drive to Sukhothai Ancient City.

We got a Superior Double from Agoda at very worth it price at only 2,370 THB including breakfast even if it's a Krathong Floating Festival.(Nov) The room was modern, spacious & well equipped. Bathroom was spacious too but there's no partition at shower area so when we took shower, floor got wet all over. When we arrived (very late at11.00 pm), front officer already clocked out. Instead, nice female security guard welcomed & checked us in and then escorted us to the room. It's OK for us as we are Thai and already paid whole amount to Agoda so we didn't have to deal with money anymore but imagine if we were foreigners it's defenitely going to be rough for both. However, service was nice and staffs were warm. Location was great as it took us 5 mins drive to Sukhothai Historical Park so this is the place I would recommend to anyone who wants sight seeing at Sukhothai Ancient City.

    A hidden gem in Sukhothai”

This resort exceeded expectations from the helpful staff to the great food, lovely manicured gardens to rural outlook and scenery, it really capped off a great trip to Sukhothai. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. The free shuttle bus to the historic park has also an added bonus. I would highly recommend staying at Sukhothai Treasure Resort to anyone :)

    ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!”

This property is an absolute treasure! You would never imagine to find this when you are driving in from the main road, but once you get to the entrance - prepare to be awed! Even more so when you understand the heritage of this property. Check-in was smooth, staffs were very friendly and accommodating. They have a big restaurant, breakfast variety is good. Although I must say the spa staffs and services definitely have room for (a big) improvement. We wanted to have a massage but it took a while, and when we finally got to the room there was some sort of smell. With all the waiting, we decided to skip the massage and return to our room and relax instead. Location is great especially if you want to visit the UNESCO site just 2 mins driving distance, very convenience! HIGHLY recommended to all those planning to visit Sukhothai!

    best resort in Sukhothai”

affordable, easy access to historical parks and ruins, modern design

The resort is only about 4 kms from the Sukhothai UNESCO World heritage Park. On top of that, the hotel offers frequent complimentary shuttle service to the park making it very convenient for guests who want to visit the park any time of the day! Staffs there are very friendly and courteous, typical of Thai's hospitality! One of the most impressive facility in the resort is its above ground and glass walled swimming pool. That has given the resort its contemporary look. Rooms aver very large, clean with huge toilet and shower! However, room conditions have begun to show some wears! The resort room rate is highly affordable. The buffet breakfast is just average with only few choices. The peacefulness and tranquility of the resort have made the stay more pleasant. The only disadvantage is its distance from the Sukhothai township itself which makes the trip there more costly if you want to go to town by taxi or resort shuttle as its service there is not complimentary. There are also no near by local restaurant except that of the resort. So if you want to try local eateries, you either take the hotel complimentary shuttle to Sukhothai UNESCO Park as there are a few restaurants catering to tourists there or take the chargeable shuttle service to town. You will be surprise to find out how small Sukhothai is and its limited restaurant choices!

this was our second stay at sukhothai treasures and we were not disappointed. the property has been well maintained and the service, particularly in terms of arranging complimentary transport to the historical park was excellent - there was only one occasion when the van was unavailable and we went back to the hotel by local 'bus' (quite expensive!). the hotel is very spacious and located among rice fields, so there is indeed a lot of wildlife around the grounds (this is normal in thailand). the trees and flowers are very well looked after. the pool is very large at 25m. there is no service there, but we still enjoyed spending an hour there every day. the food in the restaurant is generally good, particularly the thai options.

    Beautiful Resort Hotel”

Big Room with Big Private Garden, Quiet, Delicious Food in Hotel Restaurant

We have a very pleasant stay at this Resort. We booked a room with private garden at ground floor arranged face to the Pool ~ very beautiful view and the Pool was big and beautiful too. We stayed two nights in this Resort, we took our dinners at this hotel restaurant every night in our stay; food and drinks both were delicious and price was reasonable, service also good. We enjoyed our dinner and stay very much ~ Superb ! We will absolutely re-stay in this Resort if we re-visit Sukhothai again.

    Treasure hotel ”

    Pool & rooms

I actually stayed longer than four nights as I had previously booked with a different hotel agent . Staff were great , professional , friendly & a special thanks to the admin staff who went out of their way in helping me . Treasure resort is well located between between the old city ruins & new city .The Hotel itself is fairly new , only 3 or 4 years old , the rooms seem massive & with the high ceiling they seem even bigger as is the bathroom , they are both well appointed . The large pool is great for escaping the Sukhothai afternoon sun . Only ever had breakfast there , pretty standard mix of Western & Asian , could do with some tweeking , as for dinner seemed to be a smorgasbord , can't say for sure as never dined there.

Almost new hotel and great service”

Nice pool area, very big rooms
The location is mid way between Sukhotai new town and the Historical Park, 'in the moddle of nowhere'

I stayed in Sukhotai Treasure Resort for three nights, and it was a good experience. The room was very spacious with a large bathroom. It was clean, and housekeeping did a great job. They have a uffet breakfast some days, and set menu other days. You can choose between American or Continental breakfast, or compose your own meal. I had dinner in the hotel one evening. The food was very good, and not more expensive than in the restaurants near by. As mentioned in my cons, the location is not ideal, but the hotel car took me to the historical park when I wanted, and I could call them to be picked up when I wanted to return.

Fantastic Place Near the Historical Park”

    Price, Location, Friendliness

Although I was only there one night in July 2014, it was great. The location is perfect--a short ride to the Sukhothai Historical Park. The staff is very friendly and the cost of the room was very, very reasonable. I had read some less than flattering reviews of the place online, but found them inaccurate. This is a nice place for families, solo travelers, or anyone who wants a nice, clean, and refreshing place to stay. I intend to return with my family. I did not use any of the spa facilities, but they looked nice. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Very nice hotel, close to Historical Park”

    Lovely, peacefull surroundings and pool

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in the middle of a round trip of Thailand. I chose it because it is approximately half way between Bangkok and Chiang Mai, and glad I did. It is outside the town of Suhothai, and quite clost to the Historical park. The room was lovely, spacious and lots of beautiful gardens around it. There is a large pool which was very refreshing, there's also a spa, although we did not use it, as the surroundings of the hotel was relaxation enough for us. The restaurant had quite a good menu, and reasonable prices. On our second day, we had a problem with the toilet blocking up, also the patio door to the room terrace would not lock, although both problems were resolved within 5 minutes of me telling the girl on reception. Agoda list this hotel as 5 star, and although it is a very good hotel, I would say 4 at most

    Great hotel, nice view!!”

    Great pool and excellent massage!

This is probably the best hotel in Sukhothai. Nice view, great pool, nice surrounding, and good service. In addition, the massage service in this resort is excellent and we were very happy about staying there to relax! The only downside of this resort is that the breakfast is so so, but this minor defect does not ruin the overall excellence of this place!

    Lovely luxury hotel in Sukhothai”

    Swimming pool, internet, hotel staff

Wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly and professional. The rooms were very nice and worthy of 4 - 4.5 stars. Hotel is located between Old and New Sukhothai, though it is closer to Old Sukhothai. The hotel is beautiful, though it felt like it was not well maintained. Some hallways were dirty, pool had many insects in the water, and towels were a bit old. Overall, these are minor complaints and we were very happy with our stay.

    Great hotel,large rooms comfortable bed.”

    quiet, great breakfast, nice pool

without a doubt, one of my favourite hotels in Thailand. My wife and I travel as independent travellers all over thailand by car. This hotel is minutes away from the ruins in Sukhothai. The property appears to be relatively new. The rooms are spotless, beds are really comfortable and breakfast was very good. The hotel is really well laid out with a really nice pool in the middle. Staff was very helpful. if you are looking for a quiet restful nights sleep in a great boutique hotel do stay at this hotel.

    Beautiful Hotel”

New Hotel, Clean and Great Service

The hotel is brand new, clean and the service is great! Highly recommend. The only problem is that the hotel is located iin Sukhothai and after 2 hours visiting the Historical Park.... Nothing to do and boredom kicks in. If you need to stay in Sukhothai, then I highly recommend.
