Great stay! - charm, atmosphere and helpfull staff”
We have just left Tara Lodge after a great stay. It is a small, clean an nice hotel with a lot of charm an atmosphere. Great food - you should try the pasta, they really know how to cook it “al dente”. You will find a warm an friendly staff, that will do their best to give you a good time. Special kudos to Alexia. At Tara Lodge, you will get great value for money. We were so thrilled with the place, that we extended our stay. The best recomondation for Tara Lodge, was the tears in my wifes eyes, when we had to say goodbye. We will for sure be back.

Tranquil, pleasant, lovely garden and refreshing pool; lovely design details in and outside the room, including layout and privacy. Expansive, comfortable and private outdoor terrace (we were on the top floor, loved it). Helpful, pleasant staff knowledgable about the area, can help arrange travel. Excellent breakfast.

Lovely resort in Kep”
Tara lodge is a lovely guest house in Kep not too far form the crab market. The owners and staff are very accommodating and helpful. Possibly a bit overpriced but we stayed at high season over Christmas so that's to be expected. Very convenient for trekking in the national park. Super clean with a great swimming pool to cool down after a trek. Would recommend staying here.

Blissful launch pad”
Blissful and restorative; With our first views of the shaded access to rooms and a pool, entry through to the reception desk began to strip Phnom Penh tension. The fresh, cool ocean air confirmed we had made the right choice. For a compact hotel it had several distinctly different enviroments, perhaps the restaurant being the most striking, giving views to the pool and the ocean with fresh breezes wafting through and beautifully prepared Khmer dishes being served many featuring green Kampt peppercorns. The pool was steps away from the rooms but had a very different, almost ethereal ambience, almost hushed, soft like a meditation chamber. We sat by the pool, had a cocktail and watched a beautiful dusk with a new moon appearing. Our ground-level room with veranda was high ceilinged, well fitted-out with storage, simply decorated and had a great bath area. There is an option not to be air conditioned with a giant mosquito net and a gentle fan, letting you take advantage of Kep's wonderful air at night. Our hosts were gracious and helpful in getting us to Kep's fish market for a crab lunch and a great pepper farm tour on short notice for our all too brief weekend getaway. It was difficult to leave this haven and all the other things Kep offers. Oh, and did I mention ocean breezes?

We have stayed here a few times in the last year and have to say that the hotel is in fine form at present. The owner and staff were fantastic and the facilities in top shape. The location is quiet, yet close to the new Deli on the corner and the Sailing club.

Just Average”
I think there would be better options in Kep, the pool was good though management kept turning off the filter when not in use and not turning back on when in use, breakfast had five options all boringly similar, English is not really spoken there mainly French, the restuarant menu wes small we had a cheese board which was very good one day, the nex we asked for a menu to be told the kitchen was closed at 2:05 pm, apparently it closes at 2 which is bad when town is 15mins away,the place is starting to be in need of maintance, the beds are rocks really hard even for Asian standards.
