The hotel is great for guests with access to private hotel pools, a discount for spa pools, and free access to the public schools starting at 6a. We also had great massages, breakfast and dinner. Only an hour and a half from Quito, the place is highly recommended!
The 24 hrs open little pools of hot thermal water right in front of your bungalow are great. Food in restaurant is not great (too much salt, as frequent in Ecuador), service very obliging, but at times fairly moronic. Be prepared to be cold everywhere except the great hotpools, and watch the sunburn even on cloudy/sormy days. You are at some 3300? m Wish we could have stayed longer. The public pools (free entry for hotel residents) are not worth much. Less hot water and quite busy with day trippers. Lovely place to relax but the restaurant food could be much improved
Besides the enjoying the hot springs, the hiking is also very enjoyable. The staff are very polite and helpful.
We enjoyed our stay here and would always recommend staying here. The hot pools are amazing and we often had them to ourselves. There were massive queues at the public part of the springs, so we stayed in the hotel area only. Great little walk from behind the hotel along a stream up the hill. Rooms overly basic for the price. Great location in the mountains, but requires a bit of travelling, especially when on public transport. Clean rooms and well maintained gardens with pools. Staff OK but unfortunately understaffed, so we had to wait a while to check-in at the spa despite having an appointment or waited quite some time at hotel check-in and check out. Otherwise staff OK. Spa treatment staff were good. Nothing can beat the thermal pools in the mountainous setting :-)

We were traveling through Ecuador and wanted to try this out. For the money its dramatically overpriced, the restaurant is pretty meh, but the service and having springs in front of your little cabin is amazing. This is a country club for rich folks, there are better values elsewhere, and certainly better food elsewhere.
