Comfortable Stay with Convenient Location”

I had a business trip to Nakhonratchasima for 4 days so I had been staying at Dusit Princess Korat Hotel for all 3 nights. During my stay at the hotel, though the hotel decoration might not be at the best but it was very comforting and relaxing for the stay over. All the staffs were very kind and supportive with smiles. Moreover, there're many selections of breakfast line, especially the fried pan egg is excellent.

Love at first sight on the exterior, easily the best looking hotel in the whole of Korat. And it continues to wow inside with its modern contemporary decor with heavy influences from its Thai roots as well as Asia as a whole. Room is nice and cosy, with a good selection of international channels (including FTV). Professional staff, pleasant and approachable. Selection of toiletries is lovely, smells heavenly and I daresay it's a nice welcome for guests who have been out and about the whole day. Location, though is a bit far off from the town where the malls are. So for the first-time traveler who is not game to try authentic Thai fare, there might be a minor problem in terms of convenience. Huge market beside the hotel, selling the usual bazaar wares and Thai hawker fare. Dusit Princess will no doubt be my top choice for subsequent trips to Korat.

Outstanding hotel Older but clean and superb”

I had reservations based on reviews I read. After talking with reception and seeing how great things were with them my cars subsided. The room was excellent. We only stayed in the . room but a few hours later we got a small gift thing from the hotel which my wife loves. WE had lunch in the restaurant and I load it. We bought their breakfast and I found the offerings were abundant if even leaning towards the Thai side which is fine with me. I honestly could not have asked for anything more from this hotel. I've found where I'll be staying with my wife in the future when we return to Korat. She loved it as much as I did.

good value ”

this is a good deal. it's rare you can get a 4 star hotel for under fifty dollars, korat is not a top tourist destination. with that in mind, prices are cheaper here. this was a good opportunity to splurge and not pay too much. true, it's not the newest hotel and it might not be the jewel in the dusit chain's crown, but it's well kept and the staff treat you great. all in all a good place to stay. it's a bit of a walk to the main part of town, but the sawngthaews are close and cheap at 8 baht.

superbly comfortable”

Driving into Korat, this hotel is very easy to find; it has a quiet location and boasts a large car park. The staff will park your car for you if you wish. Naturally the hotel is smaller than its "big sister", the Dusit Thani in Bangkok, but the standard compares extremely favourably in all aspects; the room is very clean, nicely furnished, lovely bed linen and towels, and a very efficient air-conditioning unit. Staff are professional in their approach and the public areas of the hotel are pleasant. We were there at New Year and the hotel was extremely full, but the staff coped very well at the crowded breakfast sessions, and there is a great variety of good quality Thai and International food available. Highly recommended.

A 5 star hotel and the best in Korat. Reception staff very efficient and extremely helpful. Service in the bar very good with limited waiting time after ordering snacks and drinks. Breakfast was very good quality but again primarily geared towards asian guests even though there were numerous westerners there. Decor in the hotel was quite impressive but then again it is a 5 star hotel although on our arrival there was no porter available at reception, not what one would expect from a hotel of this quality. In conclusion our stay was very pleasant and extremely comfortable but the location is not so good and the hotel primarily caters for the business community and as such we found it lacked a certain warmth charm that perhaps families would expect and look for but we will definitely stay there again.

Korat's fanciest hotel”

This Dusit hotel delivers - Great first impression, impeccable rooms, superb staff. It's probably the best business hotel in Nakon Ratchasima (Korat). A very professional operation with very good spoken English and very helpful and attentive staff. Design is standard Dusit chic. Everything is spotless. I didn't try the pool or gym but they looked nice. The lobby is chic and has good chairs for hanging out. Security is good. One other good thing - I arrived on a bicycle which the staff allowed me to store in my room. This is unusual for a five star hotel but really sensible if the bike is very expensive. I didn't have to worry about it getting damaged or lost. So thanks for that guys.

Great hotel with excellent conditions”

we spent three nights at the dusit princess korat hotel and were very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel. we were very happy with the food in particular. we ate all our meals at the restaurant as we found the price and quality to be excellent so we did not even bother to eat elsewhere. we enjoyed room service for meals in the evening which we have never done before in 25 years of travel and enjoyed the convenience and size and quality of the food to be excellent

Wonderful Hotel”

My wife and I stayed in a Junior Suite room. We loved everything about the hotel, especially the staff. (Always charming, helpful, and friendly) The breakfast was excellent, and the service provided by the morning staff was among the best that we have had in Thailand. One caveat: If you are booking a room online and the room description says balcony/terrace - beware - there are no balconies at this hotel. If having a balcony is not of importance, then I would highly recommend The Imperial Hotel to you.

fantastic place”

We absolutely love this place and come every year when visiting family. Loved it when it was in Dusit chain and we love it in the Imperial franchise. The staff make this place so welcoming. Other hotels can learn a lot from the professionalism and dedication of the staff here. We love the upgrade that Imperial have done to the rooms. As long as the price remains reasonable we will keep coming and we will keep recommending.

Cleaness and tidy room”

The first thing we really like is the reliability of this hotel. Not only in Korat but also in Bangkok and other provinces. The room is so clean and tidy also have complementary for visitors. The way for out-going is also convenience and near the city center and department store. The ambience around hotel is also nice, quiet and cool! The decoration of the hotel is fairly beautiful. There are fitness room, usiness room and swimming pool all are convenience. Bty be careful for the drinking water only.

Korat Dusit Princess”

This hotel is well located and is in excellent condition. The staff are courteous and efficient.The breakfast buffet has a variety of western and Asian food and is top quality. The breakfast room is nicely positioned on the lower lever overlooking the pool, a pleasant ambiance. The rooms are spacious , clean and well appointed with TV, Coffee/ tea making, Internet connection,etc. Bathroom is a good size and well maintained. This hotel is great value and is worth a visit if staying in Korat.

A most enjoyable stay”

Very good value for money and will use the hotel again on my next visit. and will reccomend to my famiy and friends. The bar area restaurant are looked inviting but was too tirerd to enjoy so had a very lovely evening meal in my room overlooking the city of Korat Left my specs in the room on checkout but the hotel returned them to me by post!

Comfortable hotel in Korat”

during my last few trips, i always staied in this hotel. it is a very nice hotel with helpful and friendly staff. although, the hotel is not located in the city center, central korat can be reached by tuk tuk within 10 minutes.

My short stay at the Dusit Princess was pleasant and i found the staff to be helpful and informative....it is conveniently located a short Tuk Tuk ride away from Korat city centre, i would not hesitate to stay at Dudit Princess again on my return to Korat...

amazing staff and service”

very nice hotel looks ok from outside but the inside is very well fiited out rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff amazingly freindly and helpful Breakfast was very good and the restuarant was also very nice with extremely good prices When we come back to Korat we will definately stay in this hotel again

In any class of hotel in Thailand, I always search for one with a comfortable bed, and was not disappointed here. Rooms are well furnished, clean and well-maintained. Service was attentive, friendly and the reception staff were also efficient. Location is good if you want a quick exit from Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat) driving north. Restaurants in the vacinity are average, but not fantastic. A good class hotel... worth keeping an eye out for discounts /special offers.

Overall Good”

Arriving by car we naturally parked in the car park. There are two ground floor entrances but neither has a lift to the first floor reception. So it means negotiating two flights of stairs with luggage. Presumably all guests are expected to drive up the ramp to the grand first floor entrance and worry about parking afterwards. I liked that there was air conditioning throughout the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning in the room easily controllable. The bathroom was clean and spacious, but the shower cubical was only protected with a glass screen for half its length so inevitably water escaped onto the main bathroom floor. Bath robes provided but surprisingly no slippers. A reasonable ala carte menu to choose from in the evening, or a fixed price buffet. I elected to have the sirloin steak but it arrived with a mushroom sauce instead of a red wine sauce stated in the menu. The reason I was told was because I had taken the precaution of specifying 'no pepper' and the red wine sauce apparently contained pepper. It would have been nice to have been told after ordering before the meal was presented. Never the less the steak or was it the sauce contained traces of pepper and the steak was extremely tough - I imagine this had something to do with how the meat was cooked or not left to rest. In contrast the breakfast buffet had something for all tastes including streaky bacon cooked to perfection, and fried eggs to order. The in-house bakery provided fresh rolls and long loaves in a French style that could be sliced and toasted. Juices and beverages on tap. Very enjoyable and worth staying at the hotel if for no other reason than the excellent breakfast that outweighed our other niggles.

comfortable rooms with a free internet via lan, good breakfast (for ne thailand) rooms comfortable and clean. it's an old hotel and this shows in parts, however if you have to stay korat town center it's a great place to stay. naam spa (downstairs) is excellent too.
