Don't trust photos”
I am sorry to write this kind of review, it is not common for me, but I have to. It is the first time ever that I was more than deceived by a hostel. The common spaces are incredibly dirty, most of the people living there are migrants and not tourists, and the A/C is so strong that we couldn't sleep. We switched it iff in the capsule, but I am talking about the room A/C and we cannot turn it off (mentioned in the notice). Also, the capsule itself was not really similar to website photos. However, the check-in and -out processes are very well-done, automatised and there is also a free luggage storage service. The customer service is very kind, helping and reactive – if you contact them via WhatsApp, you can be sure to receive an answer quickly. If you want a cheap nap, then it is a good option, but not for a more-than-one-night stay

modern day road to Wigan pier experience ”
When it comes to capsule hotels, you think Japan. And when you measure that standard with the nap you get a sense of what's it like living as a down trodden local in hong Kong. I booked this place out of desperation after staying out way too late bidding a friend farewell. I got out of the mtr with ease and found the building couple blocks away from TST N1 exit. Lyton Building is quite impressive, it is a time capsule in itself - very aged and lackluster. To get to the 'hotel' you'll need to find the right elevator on block B, the owners have kindly sent an automated email with something that barely passes as instruction to locate the place. If you get on the wrong elevator, then be prepared to feel like a minotaur trapped in a garden maze. (Though you can simply go back to the ground floor and find elevator 42) When you get there there's this machine where you'll have to check in yourself. I recommend searching up your name, that worked out for me. Oh and have I mentioned that its gonna charge you extra. Its about 6hkd, not much but rubbed me the wrong way - its a matter of principle. As you key in your credit card details, be aware that the camera behind you sees you punching all the numbers, i tried my best to obfuscate its view. Standard ID scan - then boom your room key. Now heres the part youve been waiting for. You walk in and you're greeted by people shuffling about in the dead of night, dark rings around their eyes. The male toilet is a mess and the urinal will literally splatter your with water if you get too near. As if marking you as its territory - you're now the property of the Nap. The two rooms that hosts a series of capsules are quite dilapidated. The wear is palpable, and the smell matches its looks. I buzzed into my capsule with the keycard and it smells worse in there than the room itself. Its a mix between detergent and dampness, its not purely horrid but its enough to reconsider your life choice up to that point. To giv

If you think this will resemble the capsule hotels in Japan then YOU RE TOTALLY WRONG!”
the smell of the pod was horrible, as if someone left their unwashed socks in there for one week. the pillow and the blanket also didnt feel clean. Unlike the ones in Tokyo or Osaka that i have stayed multiple times before (about 18dollars per night), this capsule hotel doesn't offer slippers or anything except towels. And there's ONLY ONE bathroom for all male guest, contains one coffin size space for showering, a urinal and a toilet. (funny thing is there is no space for guest to hang their cloth and towel! and anyone can come into the bathroom while you are showering!) and right outside of the mini bathroom, its public space, so male guests of any sizes have to figure out a way to get decently dressed before they leave the bathroom. the pod itself is okay, besides the smell, there's a huge problem -- noise, there's a hole for a ventilation fan that basically pass through any sounds right in during your sleep (again, there's no ear plugs offered), def not for light sleepers.

What u see is NOT what u get”
Misleading photos of rooms posted on Agoda. The space is actually a wooden cubicle like a mortuary. The facilities are not well kept and cooking smells linger throughout. No proper assisted step access to top cubicle so caused my fall. Fire hazards in this space. Entrance was via adjoining building as main entry was locked in the evening. Toilet and shower units are unclean and filled with grime. Japanese style key access but far from the modern pod hotel. Instead its just a renovated flat in an old building.

Good location but the room and toilet was dirty. Hair dryer and TV not work. Have bad smell in the living room and I hear another room talk and fighting.

Awesome ”
I had stayed in this hotel for a night to explore. It was such a lovely experience. The decorations was highly modern and the location was very convenient (1min walk to Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR). Plenty of shopping malls around and 24 hours food and pubs nearly. This is a new and well equipped hotel and I highly recommend anyone to go try it out. I was very impressed with the common area within the hotel which I can eat and chat with my friends. The bed inside the capsule was a lot more comfortable and spacious than I expected. Definitely low in price especially in relation to similar hotels. Hong Kong are NOT cheap!!!

ONE OF THE BEST IN HONG KONG - KOWLOON CITY AREA”
I’d recommend this place to solo & couple travelers who are looking for great transient accommodation in Hong Kong. The place is just walks away and literally stone thrown away from East TST & TST MTR Stations. It’s also near bus stops. Avenue of The Stars, Wall Clock are walking distance! So, if you wanna roam around Hong Kong, it’l not much of a problem if you stay in The Nap. Self check-in was so smooth flowing. There’s no need for an attendant. The place is so sparkly clean and organized. Beds are in capsule. But privacy wasn’t a concern. Each capsule has its own door and power. It has its own mirror with nice selfie-light-ish add-on! Well, it kinda felt I was sleeping in a coffin, but it didn’t matter. It was comfy. The Nap is simply one of HK’s best budget accommodation. :)

Exceptional”
This was our first time staying in capsule style rooms and it was amazing, much better than we expected! The space was so peaceful, super clean and had lots of great amenities and things like free coffee and excellent WiFi. The actual capsule was a double one and was ok for 2 people. We slept very well here, almost no noise and the location was perfect, right in the heart of TST. Will definitely come back here next time we visit Hong Kong.

no-frills Luxury. Must try ! ”
This is pretty much a sleeping pod hotel with some really great add-ons. they have a room with mixed gender pods, and a room with female only pods. the pods are very spacious, probably the biggest i ve stayed in . nothing similar like the one in japan where all capsules are for singles only, The Nap features all pods with double bed size, which is great even if i m alone i enjoy the extra space ! the pods itself are futuristic , made in wood and with door to lock for privacy and added security. there is usb port and power plug, starry ceiling lights , two pillows (one bigger one smaller , both fluffy) , blanket is a bit warm but the pods can turn aircon on , mattress is excellent as they put extra cushion cover layer on top for added comfort. the living area consists of locker room , and tatami seating at the other side . kitchen is on the other end . very functional as all partitioned separately with the sleeping area on the same floor. Overall , the best pod hotel i ve ever stayed!

Awesome”
Well i like the place ... if you are looking for hi - tech process to check in and new experience then NAP is good for you.... if you are familiar and you are expecting that you were stay in a capsule then NAP is absolutely advisable. but if you compare the hotel of course there is a big different. What i love is even in your capsule the privacy was still there , the storage for the luggage are safe very chill ambiance common kitchen and bathroom but everything is nice ... so perfect and awesome experience plus near in MTR.

Pleasant ”
It’s a pleasant stay at the Nap. I stayed in the first class cabin and it’s beyond expectation that the cabin is fitted with starry ceiling and it’s very spacious. Comparing to my previous experience of capsule hotel in Japan, cabin in the Nap is with better security as the door of each cabin can be locked. The self check-in machine is very user friendly.

Cozy capsule but I had BITES”
I stayes in 2 hotels so I wasn't sure which place gave me bites, but after seeing a recent review I'm convinced it was The Nap. I stayed in capsule 4 and woke up with itchy bites, and might have even brought them back to SG with me, unfortunately. Suspecting mites/bed bugs. That aside, check-in was easy, follow instructions in reviews to find the hostel. Bidet was great. Would be nice if they labelled which tap was for drinking.

The best business hotel in HK ”
This hotel is new and very reasonably priced (Hotels in HK are definitely overpriced!). Self check in at the machine, I purchased early check-in that i got my cabin at 7am. Great to take a shower before my meeting. The place is clean, comfy and spacious. I worked at their living room at night and they helped me for printing for free! No doubt this hotel is suitable for business traveler.

It was good but got these bites after sleeping on the mattress”
The mattress covers the whole room, I don't know how they can easily change the bedding tbh. I got these bites from sleeping on the mattress! Also, the caller on the other line was very friendly, but without international calling, it may be harder to check in since no prior instructions were given. It's all run on an automatic/automated system. You check in when you come and check out through an atm like machine and there's a code to enter through the main door which was not given until the second day and thank goodness both times had the cleaner and another employee open the door for me. They are not always there! So, you may find yourself either locked out in the Lyton building (did I mention creepy?) The Lyton Building has two sec1tions - A and B. Must find the B department. First find Pizza express and walk straight all the way down and there's an immediate entry door to building B When you enter the place though, it feels so comfy that you will feel safe.
