The front desk service was warm and enthusiastic, providing detailed introductions to nearby attractions and explaining the room facilities once we entered. They thoughtfully gave us small gifts and handwritten cards. The hotel pool is not large, but the water quality is excellent. The ambiance is peaceful, a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. The provided breakfast and afternoon tea were very delicious. The only slight downside was the unstable water temperature while showering; on the first day of our stay, one towel had a bit of a yellowish tinge. Overall, there were no major issues, and I highly recommend staying here. I will definitely book this hotel again on my next trip to Chiang Mai.
We were delighted with our 6-night stay at the hotel! The staff were all so courteous and went every way to make our stay comfortable and fuss-free. The service rendered was truly exceptional! By far, the very best we have experienced! The breakfast was also good. The welcome perks were delightful, especially the treat of the Khao Soi which was so so good! We've never had it before and it really made our day. We strongly recommend The Rim for anyone who's looking to stay in Chiang Mai!
it fulfilled my Lanna dream in every aspect. luxurious experience yet affordable. the staff were all very friendly. their high quality of service was shown in great details. made unforgettable memories with my family. the restaurant offered the best breakfast, especially the Thai desserts wrapped in banana leaves. During the most comfortable season in Chiang Mai, I traveled with my family and chose to stay at this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel has a vintage charm and is unique, with large and very clean rooms, just the type we like. Although the hotel is located near a busy street, it is quiet and comfortable inside, allowing for great sleep. Thanks to the hotel staff for arranging a room on the 3rd floor by the pool, which receives sunlight and has a pool and banana trees nearby, along with squirrel neighbors in the trees. The restaurant is beautiful, and while the breakfast selection is not extensive, it is delicious; one of the things we look forward to the most each day is having breakfast. The shabu buffet next door is very popular, with many people waiting for a table every day, and the prices are cheap. Across from the side entrance is a laundromat with reasonable prices, charging 80 baht for 1kg. If I come to Chiang Mai again, I will choose this place again.

I stayed for two nights. It was a hotel with a runner-style ambiance where I could relax while feeling nature, with the sounds of birds and insects and the gentle rain. There was a lovely celadon tea set in the room, and I brewed and drank the barley tea packets I brought. There is a pottery shop called Mengrai Kilns within walking distance, which I think is worth visiting. I learned about it from a Thai cooking teacher, and there were many beautiful ceramics on display. During my stay, it continued to rain, but there were also people enjoying the pool. At night, it was very quiet, with no sounds of cars, and it fell silent. The mattress on the bed was fluffy and comfortable. Restaurants and other amenities are within walking distance, and I heard that you can take the hotel's shuttle bus to the night market. If you go out of the hotel and turn right, there is a 7-Eleven about a five-minute walk away. There is also a food stall in front of the store where they make som tam, which I bought to eat in my room. The breakfast was delicious; I had an omelet made for me. The sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves was also good. I took a taxi to Nimmanhaemin on the way there, and a tuk-tuk on the way back. The tuk-tuk driver said that traffic increases in the evening and fares go up, so I thought it would be better to return early. It takes about ten minutes to get to Wat Phra Singh, which is also glorious and lovely at night. I checked out early in the morning due to my flight schedule, but I wished I could have stayed longer. There were snacks provided in the room and at the front desk, which were tasty. I brought back some that I couldn't finish. I reminisce about my stay while eating them after returning home. The staff always greeted me warmly when I met them and were very kind. I would like to stay here again when I visit Chiang Mai.
